"You don't need to be told what is good by a kitling so one as "mature" as yourself should be able to find thing easily." Dancer slipped into a tree and moved about the limbs in near silence. Fire Bright didn't go far from Peyote and he kept looking up from time to time. When he yawned Peyote if she looked could see massive fangs that were even larger then any wolves might have been.

Peyote opened her mouth, eyes wide, then shut it as Dancer disappeared into the trees. "Sun Bless me," she breathed. "Was it something I said?" sweatdrop But then Firebright yawned, and Peyote chuckled nervously and backed away, into some ferns. She yelped and turned from it, brushing at her legs. "Gross," she stammered, peering at the broad leaves.
Alone, mostly, she looked around, with a frightened little expression. "Oh, heavens...." neutral

It was hard to let Peyote become fearful. Dancers gut always wanted to comfort sadness, calm fear and find a way to make the weak strong again. If only Dancer could send to Peyote it might have made a difference somehow. Still she kept a close eye on Peyote to see if the point would hit home a bit more. After what might have seemed forever to Pey was in truth only a short time the dark skinned elf could hear a sound. It was like a far off grumble growl. With that noise Fire Bright stood and soon melted into the forest. Dancer, still up in the branches watched in silence. Sapphire eyes kept close eye on Peyote and the surroundings. While in the tree Dancer took note to various bugs she saw and birds.

As the cat too disappeared into the forest, Peyote's eyes widened further. She swallowed hard in her now dry throat and began walking (the wrong way from the cove, of course). She some how managed to step on every dry twig, break every free branch, and snag every bit of underbrush as she went. The distance growl was just part of the frightening cacophony of the forest.
"Oh, Sand Visions," she cursed as she stumbled about.

The jungle born Dancer smiled watching Peyote fumble about noisily in the woods. Going away from the camp nun the less. Making another sort of sound made Fire Bright circle about but out of sight. It was enough noise to know something was lurking but he was unseen. After a little while Dancer called to Peyote, "Are you alright?" She sat quietly on a low limb so she could be seen if the frightened rabbit looked up. "If you trust me now to help you and stop being nasty I will show you something you might find enjoyable." Dancer smiled softly. If she could have she would have sent to Peyote to show her thoughts were only of keeping the lovely flower safe from harm.

Peyote gasped at the, to her, menacing rustle in the brush in front of her. OMG! The ferns were going to eat her!!! She took a few steps backwards and jumped at the voice. eek
Looking up, her hand coming to her collar bones, Peyote chuckled nervously. "Ye, please," was all she said in reply, though the relief was clearly seen in her face and heard in her voice. sweatdrop

Dancer smiled and moved to the ground. You need to climb a tree. A tall tree but it will be worth it. I checked already. I will be right there to help you and will not let you fall. She moved to a tall tree that had low enough branches for Peyote to scooch up into the tree on. "This one will do." Dancer smiled brightly with a facae that said trust me. It will be easy.

Peyote took one look at the tree and backed away.
"Ah, no.... thank you," she added the last with an in genuine smile. "I don't do that.. climbie thing," she stated with a wiggle of her fingers as she lifted that hand up toward the sky. "I like my feet on the ground, thank you. Let's just find more things to eat and get back to the hut, hmm?" PLEASE?! sweatdrop

Dancers face dropped. Like someone just killed her pet critter. Still she knew it had to be hard for Peyote. "Very well, but you are missing out on something few get to see." Pushing the smile back to her face she pointed at the ferns. "These won't kill you and are comfortable to take a nap in." Dancer gave a playful giggle with a wink.

Peyote looked at the icky looking leaves dubiously, then gave Dancer the same expression. "Ummm.. I'm sure..." she said with out any convection what so ever. neutral stare

All the young one could do what laugh softly. This would take some time indeed to bring this one around. Still she wouldn't stop trying. "Let's go this way a bit. The fire was that way and I think it better we not find out what happened for now." Dancer knew if it was serious Star or Savith would give warning. She kept her eyes looking for things to eat but let Peyote look to. She wanted her to find something and feel useful.

Peyote hadn't a clue what was edible and what wasn't, so she just looked about and followed Dancer.
That is.. until....
"ooooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooo" biggrin Peyote's eyes brightened as she moved toward some very bright flowers. "What are these? I've never seen flowers so bright before!"

As Dancer looked she smiled. The smell from the flowers was delightful and almost intoxicating. They were bright purpleish blue flowers that grew on a bush. They were indeed lovely in every way. "MMMMMM They smell so lovely. Taste one Peyote, but just a small taste." She watched Peyote closely to see if she would try the flower. If not Dancer would. She pushed bloom against her nose. That was when she herd the buzzing sound.

Now bees Payote was accutely familiar with, and the buzzing of their wings are quite loud. She drew near, reaching for the flower, and heard that distinctively familiar sound. "ooooOOOOooo a bee," she cooed, putting a hand on Dancer's shoulder. "Be careful not to crush her," she warned, eyes searching about for the source of the sound even as she took her hand from Dancer's shoulder to reach for a bloom. 4laugh

Dancer pulled her nose slowly from the flower and looked around. The bush had many bees buzzing about it. "OOOO I hope we can find their home. That would be a wonderful treat for everyone." Bright blue eyes focused on one bee and watched it carefuly for a good long while till it took off. ""HURRY PEYOTE! We can't lose sight of it!" Dancer was off like a shot following the little flying bug as it flittered from plant to plant.
