Blacklight was very, very confused! She knew she wasn't the smartest mare around. Her head was all up in the clouds most of the day, and she felt most at home where the thin air made her giddy. Most of the time she wasn't bothered, but it frustrated her when she couldn't figure out something important.
What did Swift Wind think that Kaim was lying about? Them being together? Or them not being together! Or... oooooh!
"Who's lying about what? I don't understand! I-" Black cast Swift Wind a grateful look, before advancing slightly on Kaim. It warmed her heart to think he cared enough to give her the truth. Swift Wind was such a good stallion.
She wished she wasn't about to make herself look like a fool.
"I'm the mother of his children. I- I knew since when our baskets were born that he'd return home to you. I couldn't be jealous, I wasn't allowed, because it was only one night for us and I don't want to be that kind of mare, I don't, I really don't, but if you're his mate and lying about it to wind me up, you need to stop right now, because it's not funny! It's giving me bad energies!!!"

Woah she took this the wrong way! The mare just couldn't help but shake her head. Casting a look to Swift Wind that read 'I pity her' and just looked at Blacklight with a serious look. Though this was amusing at first it now was becoming unfunny for her.
"Hold on!" she stomped her right hoof down.
She had to put a stop to this for it sound so degrading to her ears. The thought of her and Swift Wind together made her want to hurl. Rolling her crimson eyes and giving a huff.
"No he is not my mate at all. He is not with me at all in that sense. To me he is a moron that I can barely stand!" really her and him?! Ewww...
His blue eyes widen and this was not what he wanted. He did not want Black to be confused with this any longer. Shaking his head and looking to the wind mare. This was his fault for being the way he was and flirting with everyone. But it seemed much harder to do so now that he met Blacklight.
"Blacklight, please don't take what she is saying before seriously. Kaim and I are more like a father/daughter relationship. I don't date my children if you get my drift." he was no ***** either.
Maybe it was time he let his expressions be made. Though he was a bit scared to do so. But he couldn't stand keeping Blacklight left in the dark because of him.

What!? B-but-
Black's heart was beating double-time in her chest, and a whole cloud of butterflies beat their wings in her stomach.
"I know you wouldn't," she told Swift, gently. "You were always good with the boys."
Then her head turned, and she looked Kaim in the eyes. Blacklight wasn't used to being serious! She wasn't sure if she was doing it right. But something had to be said. Fortune and fate and the energy in the room left her no other option. She wouldn't let a child having a tantrum speak that way about herself, or the stallion she loved.
"Just who do you think you are, with such a cruel little 'joke'? Haven't you heard of bad karma?" Black asked. "You don't need to look at him with pity in your eyes, like I'm a fool, or I was tricked. It's not your place to judge us. I knew what he was like when I met him, that he wouldn't stay, but I didn't care. I was happy with him, and I love my sons. There's nothing to pity there. If anything, I feel sorry for you and this- this shouting and rudeness. You must have attracted some very poor luck on yourself to end up so twisted up and bitter."

The alicorn sighed and watched the two. This could either go bad or Kaim will just walk away from it. He knew the young mare was emotionally damaged by her family disappearing on her. He gave Blacklight a gentle nudge with his snout to stop her from continuing on with this. His blue eyes glanced at Kaim "Apologize."
The younger mare just listened to Blacklight go off on her. Inside she was a wreck but outside her strong upfront read the 'I don't care.' look. She raised her head and turned her head "Hmp, whatever!" she may be young and a bit of a brat. She wasn't about to let this wind mare talk down on her and her crimson eyes slanted in a glare. Her anger was swirling insider her and was building up to be a explosion.
Shaking her head and just laughs "Right, I am sorry that someone does not have faith in you, SwiftWind." she then turned away from the couple. Trotting off and didn't want any more part of this situation.

Blacklight felt her anger ebb away as the younger mare trotted away from them in a huff. She couldn't say she wasn't relieved that Kaim and Swift Wind weren't involved. That would be a lie, and lies were bad for your karmic energies and biorhythms! But she wasn't exactly proud of having spoken so harshly to a Soquili that was immature enough to be barely more than a filly.
"I'm sorry." Her ears flicked sheepishly. "It's not that I don't have faith in you. It's just- we never made any promises, right? And when she talked down about you like that, it just- it made me feel all burny inside! I suppose I've made a mess of things."
Slowly, carefully, she moved to nuzzle the side of Swift Wind's cheek, conscious of the fact that he might very well choose to reject her. Blacklight seemed to have made an awful lot of trouble in his home.
"I don't care what anyone says. Maybe you're not perfect, but you're a good stallion."

As the younger mare disappeared from the scene and he was getting over what had happen. It was true though, if someone really didn't know him. He probably was what Blacklight or Kaim had thought of him. He hung his head low at the disgrace which has fallen upon his very name, how could someone so gallant as he carry such a incriminating title. Time seem to go by slow as the mare spoke to him.
He was caught trapped in his mind trying to think of what was really his true nature? Turning his head from her after she nuzzled him. His blue eyes looked at the steady flow of the lake and he didn't even realize that the sun was setting. With a light huff he raised his head and tried to keep a proud stance. Looking towards the black wind mare and giving her a smile, it seemed as radiant as usual.
"Thank you."
Swiftwind then thought more on how he had felt about Blacklight. Never did her really want any mare to hold just his heart. He would find it unfair if he couldn't give out his love to the entire world! Wasn't that the code he had wanted to live by? Dammit was he to break his own code and live the life in one happy little relationship?
He was unsure if he would be able to stop himself from flirting with other girls. Though if Blacklight was able to accept it as just part of his nature and he wasn't actually going to go off with one of them. Then maybe things could work out between the two of them? The pink alicorn's blue eyes looked serious as he stared dead on her.
"I must tell you something."

"Alright."
Seeing Swift Wind smile like that cheered Blacklight considerably. She didn't like ugly things like bile and longing. She wanted luck, and sun, and clouds, and cute stallions to have fun with.
She knew one who was more fun then most.
"Oh, oh, oh! But." The mare tried to school her expression into seriousness, but the waving of her tail instantly betrayed her good mood. Blacklight had never been a very good liar. "There's bad energy here right now, don't you think? It will take a while to go away. Whatever you're going to tell me, I want to guarantee the best outcome!"
She flexed her wings and smiled a crooked little smile.
"So let's go flying! You can tell me in the air, okay? Everything is better in the air. I think maybe good fortune moves more quickly there."

It wasn't hard to not notice the tail wagging behind the wind mare and he couldn't help but find it humours inside. Though he did not laugh nor did his expression change much to indicate he found it amusingly funny. Though the talk of negative bad energy being about was probably rather true. Especially the rather bad energy left from Kaim before she took off on her own. Giving a nod his sunset colored feathered wings stretched out.
"Sounds like a plan then."
The sky seemed perfect, not a storm cloud in sight to change their minds. The pink alicorn took off into the air and waded in the sky. His form bathed in the sun setting glow as he waited for Blacklight to join him.

When they first met, Blacklight had been so nervous about taking off in an unlucky location that she'd stomped awkwardly in place, as graceless as a newly-fledged foal. But this time she had no reservations. The mare spread her wings, ran at a brisk trot, and took to the air as though she'd been born for it.
She drifted on the winds just above Swift, careful to stay just back of the stallion so that she wouldn't outpace him. The sun felt lovely on her back. She loved watching the world grow small below her.
"Well?" Blacklight giggled.
Knowing Swift, the thing he had to say would be one of those cute little lines he tried out on all the mares. Blacklight had missed them.

They both were in the sky and far away from land. He felt really nervous at this moment and never did he really feel this way. He could be facing off a Kalona at this moment and not feel the feeling of fear like he did now. Still the pink alicorn stallion was not about to stop himself from proclaiming his love to her. He went to open his mouth to say something but she had spoke and his heart tighten up.
His mouth was left in a open shaped o and it was as if his words have been constricted. Taking in a deep breath trying to sooth himself before letting out the big L word. Swift Wind looked at Blacklight with a serious look in his eyes as his large body flew at a slow pace.
“I just wanted to...”
He lost his nerve again and perhaps he was beginning to think his proclamation was that of a curse. Shaking his head causing his dark pink curly mane hair to dance around his head and trying to keep his wits about. Giving a huff of frustration for the way he was acting at this very moment. It certainly wasn’t very dashing or charming that was for sure.
“I love you!”
There he said it, though it was very loud and half choked. Hopefully the wind didn’t cover up his words.

Blacklight's eyes grew so wide that the whites were visible in a ring around her irises. Her wingbeats faltered with the shock of Swift Wind's declaration, and she was so distracted by the rabbit-quick pounding of her heart that she nearly crashed into him.
W-w- what!?
The sun was so high. Below them, the clouds looked incandescent. It was- it was perfect, that was what. All of her rituals had finally paid off in one perfect, glorious moment.
Thankfully she righed herself just in time to keep from crashing into the stallion.
"Oh, Swift Wind!" She gasped. "Of course! Of course I love you too! How could anyone not love you? I don't even understand it! I think it's cute when you flirt with other mares, and you were so sweet with the boys and- and-"
She threw her head back, giggled, and then shot him a wink.
"it was all in fun. I was never supposed to love you, you know. My luck is better than I ever thought."

All his worries disappeared as the wind mare came crashing into him. The poor stallion had almost lost his steady flying pace but quickly flapped his wings. Oh, his heart was beating fast and he could almost feel a bit hot inside. It was a burning sensation that he could not fully understand but he was suppose it was the feeling of love?
"Heh. " he couldn't help but laugh a bit at her rambling. It was always such a cute trait of hers. Though he wondered if he should point it out or not? It might ruin the mood.
The sky was now dark and covered in twinkling stars. The moon was large shining brightly and the two bathed in it's light. Giving her a nod while looking at her with a smile.
"Me too. I had this code where I wasn't gonna be with just one mare. I suppose..I wasn't able to live up to it! But I think it's okay to break!"
