Rosalind smiled, but it faltered when her mother mentioned her siblings. She hadn't seen her brother in ages, no clue where he'd gone off to. But her sister...
"Dmitrria, the one that went off with the twolegger, is fine," she said casually. "I see her from time to time... oh, how she would love to see you!" She plastered another grin on her face.
Truthfully, she had no idea how her sister would react, as they had not seen each other in quite some time, but she wouldn't let her mother in on that little secret.
Rosalind stepped closer to her mother, nuzzling her neck to calm her. "I don't think Dad'll be too upset. On the contrary, I think he might actually be pleased," she reassured.

Dusty smiled at the news of her other daughter. "Dmitrria," she repeated quietly. "She's the one who was mostly brown and black, with just one swirl, right? And your brother was brown and white? They took after your father more than they did me." Nodding, the mare sighed, wishing she knew more about her children.
The nuzzle calmed her, and she nodded again. "Oh, I do hope he will. I would hate to make him upset after not seeing him for so long."

The sun was high, and so was Dmitrria's adrenaline level. Rosalind said she would meet her today. It had been two moon passings since she had seen her. Dmitrria had much to tell, almost too much for her to remember. Everything had happen so fast, with Sirius coming along and nearly killing her two-legger after she saved his pelt from drowning. And with her new soon to be mate. A grin came to her face as she thought of him. Dmitrria huffed, racing the wind and time. She promised her little sister she would meet her at sun high. But she knew she would be late. In the morning she searched for Akuba, who was no where to be found. She knew he would be back soon. He told her he had other acquaintances in the area he must be visiting one. It took several hours for the search and for her to finish her new, shorter morning run. She had to keep herself in shape to raise Akuba's children, she thought proudly. Dmitrria then saw her sister with someone else. Her sister was there, at the orchids where they set to meet. She tilted her head from the sun, seeing that her sister and the mare were close, nuzzling each other softly. As she approached something inside blossomed. It was a strange attraction to the other mare. Like she knew her from some where. Dmitrria looked closer and she blinked furiously. Was she seeing double? Dmitrria shook her head and came into the gathering. At that moment she knew she wasn't seeing double. "Rosalind.... mother." She addressed both softly with a kind nod and smile.
