((here's my real post now that I have time XD))

Asuma chuckled, the chuckled turning slowly into a crazed laughter. As the shield dissipated, Asuma stood there, grinning widely. "Oh, the s**t that spews out of your mouth. You talk of honor and trust and warriors code. You have no right to say such things. You use traps. Put innocents lives in danger. Kill people for no reason. And worst of all...you threaten my friends." Asuma's grin turned cynical, as his reiatsu spiked, making the ground below him crack. "Your true colors are about to be shown; blood red. You think that those of us who you've encountered, let alone the seireitei itself, who knew that you would be here, wo8ld let you battle just one? No. We will not allow you the luxury of being killed in a longer period of time. Me will end your life here." As he chuckled, Mari let loose a barrage of the 24 bullets in his gun, the reiatsu charged bullets aimed at the remaining three lightning rods. some of them were destroyed, yet he had fired them in close range so that they would be able to hit. Eight for each rod. All three were gunned down in mere seconds, as the barrier collapsed. Asuma started to laugh again. "Ky...you picked the wrong people to piss off. when Xeion sent you the letter I had intercepted it moments after he had sent it. Do you think 12th squad doesn't monitor everything that goes on? Come now. Don't tell me your that naive. Xeion is the one who tried to talk us out of it. But..."Asuma gripped the hilt of his zanpaktou behind him with his right hand, while his left still held his falchion, hilt and all. "You'll die here. And I won't let you escape!" His reiatsu spiked again, as he pulled out his zanpaktou, pointing it at Ky. "Show me what you've got, Bounto scum!" As the bullets sped towards Xeion, Mari rushed in front of them, using the dual sword on his back, cutting them in half. They were ready. Asuma sighed, and Mari looked at him. "Mari...I'm sorry..." Mari looked at Asuma for a second, wondering what he meant. He found out in a moment when Asuma had pushed him back, into a small black hole that led out to where Iu and Tadashi were. Asuma looked back at Xeion. "You ready, Xeion-kun?"

Xeion looked around and saw the support he was getting. Even in the midst of battle, these guys were standing by him, ready to die at a heart's beat. Xeion smiled, knowing that he was surrounded by his faithful friends. Standing up, he began to get serious.

"Corrupt me now, Elena!" He shouted as Elena transformed into her shikai form, pulsating with malicious energy. Without hesitation, Xeion put his palm on the blade and ran it down the entire length as blood started to flow down the sword-steel. Elena pulsated and began to glow even more when Xeion started his chant.

“With these hands, I offer you my blood; the blood which contains my heart and my soul. Hear me now as I make this covenant with you, written in blood which now flows down your body. Let the world see your true face, o blue rose that glimmers amidst the abysmal night’s curtain. Break the mirror and show your true reflection and from the depths of despair, awaken, with wings ablaze with majestic light.”

Immediately, the zanpakuto shone with brilliant light and turned into this wonderful weapon both in appearance and in power. This is the second stage of Xeion’s zanpakuto, Elena’s “True Reflection”. Going into his stance, he readied himself. “Thanks guys, I appreciate you being here and all. But if it’s okay, I’d like to get a first strike on this guy. I’m responsible for what he’s become so as such, it is my duty to end it. I mean, if it’s okay with you, Asuma-kun and Tadashi-kun.”

"Well, if it isn't Nero-kun. Long time no see, bud? How's Aizen doing? Still not being such a hard-arse, emo dictator, I hope." He jested and smiled while still retaining his battle stance. "Anyways, Nero-kun, since you're here, I would like too ask you a favor. Could you help out with the guys back in town? They seem to having quite a fun party there and I know a showman like you can't resist to entertain to say the least." He snickered.

Asuma laughed, stepping back a little. "By all means, Xeion-kun...go ahead. Just leave some for me. I'm going to cleave his flesh from his, piece by piece." Asuma sheathed his falchion, putting his hands at his sides. Suddenly, they clenched. His eyes stayed open, staring at Ky. One eye slowly turned yellow, as his teeth grew longer, his canines, at least. Black reiatsu started to pulsate around him, as his body slowly changed. His hands slowly turned to claws, the nails getting longer. He growled slightly, as he got more feral-like. "This....is going to be fun." He laughed, as it sounded somewhat like a howl. "My zanpaktou and I are ready. Go for it, Xeion-kun."

((just a side note..Asuma and his zanpaktou are "one", in the sense that he can switch body parts with him, as well as let his zanpaktou take over, i.e., when his eyes turn completely yellow. He can completely switch bodies with him, as well. When he becomes more feral, he is sharing bodies and mind with his zanpaktou, getting much more powerful.))

Ky's more likely to do that than Xeion. He's got more guns than the US Military on red alert status.
