June looked the card over and for a moment he nearly fell over. The guy was a door to door salesman on his off time? It made sense, the smooth way of talking, the briefcase, and the business card... how very strange that he would be able to run an establishment like this as well. His company must do really well though he'd never heard of it before himself.
"Names June." He said, giving his first name only as he was sure the man had access to any information on him from the file. He'd had to fill a bit of stuff out when he first signed on to take Duncan in.
Duncan reached a hand up to take the card when his father was done, looking it over. His trio of eyes blinked before he looked up at the man as they followed after him. He wondered how flash cards and questions were going to help him out.

After letting them in there was a large oak desk a comfy chair on one side and two smaller chairs on the other. He moved to go sit int he larger chair very much looking the business man he was. he was still smiling though.
"Tell me know, about yourself Duncan before we get started." He pleasantly asked as he then pulled out some cards and began to mix them up slowly. He seemed to have all the time in the world, patient pleasant and pleasing to the eye.

June sat down in one of the chairs, staying quiet so that his son could talk.
Duncan crawled into the other one, sitting on the edge since his wings wouldn't let him sit back very well. He looked down at the card he was still holding, fiddling with hit, "Angry." He said, tapping the card against one of his knee spines. He wasn't sure how he should describe himself, "Lonely." The two words fit very well, he was angry often lately, so much he didn't want to risk being around others especially those his size.

The man didn't pause in his shuffling his eyes shut as he gave a bit of hym song before replying.
"Do you like being angry? Lonely? Why do you think you are lonely? You have your father, and I saw on your carts you met Jhor. You have friends." Mr Vampy said as he then laid some of the cards onto the table. Leaning forward to get started although waiting for Duncan to reply first.

The boy shook his head rapidly when he asked if liked being angry. He didn't, he hated it! He couldn't control himself when he was angry, "No!" He said out loud, giving a little twitch. His hands clenched and he effectively crushed the card he'd been holding.
June reached over to lay a hand on Duncan's head to help sooth him.
The boy looked up at the hand then took it in his, holding it out for Mr Vampy to look at, "Hurt." He murmured, running a hand over the markings both new and old on June's skin, markings he'd caused and wasn't proud of.

Looking over the numerous wounds and old scars the man nodded his head and gave a thoughtful hmm.
"And you don't like doing that to those you love. No one would." he then smiled and picked up a card and flipped it over to show Duncan. It looked like an ink blot to June, but to Duncan it would be a very vivid image of a car on fire, people screaming in pain.
"What does this make you feel Duncan?"

Duncan starred at the card for a moment, tightening his grip on his father's hand and without noticing it he dug his nails into it once more. He looked down at the ground, shaking his head. What should one think seeing that he wondered, "Bad." He murmured, he felt bad for the people in the car.
June tilted his head to the side, starring at the blot and wondered what it looked like to the boy.

Nodding his head he picked up another card and placed it over the first. This looked like yet another ink blot to the human but to Duncan he would see a man grabbing a woman's hair and slitting her throat with large butcher knife. It was graphic.....and horrific even to look at. Yet Mr. Vampy game no signs of having seen the image himself.
He still smiled pleasantly as he asked. "And this one?"

Duncan gave a growl, snapping a small hand out to try to knock the cards away. He was done with this game, the man was no different then any of the others! They were all here just trying to mess with his head, "Enough!" He snarled, getting up to his feet.
June closed his hand around Duncan's giving it a squeeze, "Shhh, its alright. We won't stay longer if its all bothering you." He said, not sure what was upsetting his son but didn't want to risk him attacking the business man.

Gathering up the cards Mr. Vampy carefully collected them together and arranging them in a deck put them beside him. He leaned on his hand watching Duncan his small smile turning into a frown.
"Now Duncan, you cannot assume everyone is out to get you. I am trying to help you. These are just ordinary paint splotches it is your mind that derives an image from them. Yours alone." he said calmly as if stating a point that there was no reason to get mad at him. it was his own fault for thinking these images.
"If you don't mind sir. Do you mind if I have a moment alone with Duncan?" He asked June politely. "That is of course if Duncan will accept being alone with me."

Duncan gave a snarling sound, he was not the one thinking those things up! They weren't ink splotches they were bad, bad cards he thought, taking a step away from Mr Vampy and closer to his father. He barred his teeth and gave a growling sound at him. His temper was starting to his flare up a bit now.
June looked a bit unsure, "I don't know, its hard to calm him when he gets like this..." He murmured, his son didn't look all that happy about the idea of having to be anywhere near Mr Vampy at the moment so how could he ask him to be alone with him?
Of course Duncan did something that June wasn't expecting he pushed away from his father, rounded on the other man, and growled out, "Yes." He would stay, if his father weren't here to stop him maybe he could bite Vampy's arm off...

Mr. Vampy looked pleasantly surprised and gave a nod of his head. "Dont worry about me. I am sure I can handle the little guy." He said though he didn't mean it in a demeaning way. He continued to sit watching Duncan and then chuckeled.
"I will let you know when you are able to come back in." He instructed June. He waited for the parent to leave before focusing on Duncan.

Duncan's eyes narrowed, watching as his father left the room. When he was gone the red skinned child gave another, low growling sound. He hated this man, he was messing with him and he just wanted to bite him as he'd been able to bite the last guy here that was like this... the tech from the day he'd met Jhor. He missed that opportunity and he shouldn't allow himself to miss this one as well!
He took a couple steps forward, claws clicking against the floor.

Mr. Vampy leaned back in his chair, the pleasant looking man still present though there was a build up of power seeming to stem from him. Though he was still smiling there was something very....suspicious about it. It seemed almost too happy.
"Well now, Duncan. I see you are very upset with me right now. I believe it is rather unfair to get angry for nothing I have done to you." He stated tapping the tips of his fingers together lightly.
"Though I suppose you are letting the wrath side of you take over. It is easier to hurt than it is to heal they say.."

Duncan gritted his teeth, taking one step back. Damn it... everything was getting confusing again, his mind going a bit red which made it hard as hell to think... he shook his head before looking down at his feet and tried to drag in a steadying breath. There was one part of him that was saying it would be easy enough to lunge forward and sink his teeth into the guy. Another voice was saying that Mr Vampy was right and that he couldn't go around hurting everyone that he got angry at.
Wasn't that why he was here? To learn how to keep from attacking at the slightest provocation? He gave a sighing sound, sitting back down on the edge of his chair and starred at his feet, moving his toes in such a way that his claws clicked against the floor.
"Want..." He trailed off for a moment, thinking on it before he looked up at the man that he wanted to attack but also wanted to talk to, "Friends." He said, he couldn't have friends if they were always at risk though.
He sighed, nails tapping against his spines and he shook his head, "Adriel." He told him, one of only two he knew, the only one he'd seen more then once, the only one he'd ever laughed for, "Want." He wanted to be able to go near him without having the urge to beat him with his own tentacles.
