Deane yawned after rising from bed. He had been up late last night filling out forms to aquire forms from the reasearch and development division. Needless to say he didnt get much sleep. Today he had to do a meet and greet with his new Vice-Captain, Attend a Captain's meeting, hand out new postings, fill out more paperwork about incomming and outgoing squad members, help organize a welcoming party for the new vice captain... the list was endless and his day would be hurried. Deane's only relief was the small and few time slots he had to eat, and luckily his day started with one.
Deane went into another room and began to prepare his breakfast of bacon and pancakes. Deane literaly breaked fast and then headed out to great the new morning and his new Vice Captain.

Kogi walked along the captain's quarter's area and saw Deane run out of his room . "Ah, good morning Deane...busy as always I see" he said smiling.

"Hello Kogi! Well the life of a Captain as always. Well I have to run see you at the captains meeting." Deane said running backwards. Deane then used Shunpo and stopped abrutley as he say Keiko napping in a tree. Throwing a near by rock at the limb of the tree Deane began "KEKIO! Don't you have work to do?"Deane said extending his voice so that he could be heard.

"bye" He waved before Deane disappeared from his sight. "I swear that guys gonna work himself too death...heh he probally did" Kogi muttered laughing abit too himself. It was a beutiful day, the sun was shining, it was fairly warm but not overly warm, and it was quiet." I love when I get up early...the peace is so nice" he muttered, he jumped onto a rooftop and sat cross legged and closed his eyes just to enjoy the peace for a moment.

Kogi stood. "now that's over and done with, time too check on the troops" He thought and headed too one of the training centers pausing at the door. he heard a clatter of wood against wood and the haste movement of several people. Kogi smirked then open the door and stepped into the dojo, it was bare except for the rack of wooden training swords on the wall near the door and the pillars that held up the building, the space in the middle was open allowing the sunlight too pour onto the fighting stage in the middle. Kogi picked up one of the swords off the rack and spun it around in his hand. "You guys know the drill, stop me from getting tothe center of the stage" He said loud enough that it echoed throughtout the building. A figure in black jumped out from behind a pillar and jumped slashing the wooden sword. kogi side stepped and brought up the trainer sword smacking the sword into the figure's head knocking him too the ground. kogi casually began to walk towords the stage, more shinigami in there shihakshou with wooden swords attacking him, Kogi dodging and dispatching each with a single attack. He stepped into the center of the stage, several dozen people laying on the ground holding various parts of there body. "guess I win again...alright you lot you know the drill, three laps around the complex..." groans came from the disipointed people as they got up, they weren't groans of pain but of disappointment"...then warm ups, then we do sparing matches...move it!" He shouted, everybody in the room jumped and ran , kogi sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose. "This is gonna take awhile" He muttered.

Malice stretched his arms and legs as he got the feeling that it was time to get to work. He adjusted his shihakushou and fixed his hair before jumping from rooftop to rooftop. "Alright first I need to check on the captain, then I need to check on the others. Eh, simple enough, I guess." As he neared his captains room, Malice caught a glimpse of him with another person. He then landed beside the captain and placed his left arm behind his back. "Good day, Captain Asguard!" He looked over at the female shinigami and smiled. "And, who the lady?"

Kogi lept onto the roof and saw his squad running, thought there was one who was walking. lazy incompitant... He thought, he jumped down grabbed a training sword then lept back onto the roof and caught up to the straggler, staying just behind him. The guy didn`t hear Kogi sneak up behind him. Kogi whistled, the guy turned and was met with a smack in the face from the wooden trainer sword. "Ow what the hell was that..."the man froze mid sentance as he looked up and saw kogi. "cap...cap...captain...Tenshi" the man said scared. "get moving or I`ll make you doo more laps...MOVE IT!" He souted, the man scrambled too his feet ran tripping over himself a few times before turning the corner yelling. "Hey guys wait for me!". Kogi headed back too the dojo and replaced the wooden sword on the rack.

Deane smiled to himself as Kekio left. Deane then placed his hand on his Zanpaktou as an unfamiliar presence drew near. As the person called out Deane loosened his grip and turned to face him. "Ah Malice its nice to meet you. Unfortunately I can't stay long I have plenty of errands keeping me busy still being a new captain and all. I'm going to ask that you stop by the Dojo, introduce yourself and stay there because I'm going to be holding a little tournament to see what everyone's strengths are." Deane said opening a door and throwing some completed paper work onto the desk inside. "Well I'm off. If your the first one there" Deane started. Which is pretty likley since i told everyone about the surprise partyDeane said to himself. "Don't leave hell butterflies tend to get aroudna little slow." Deane lied a little but he was satisfied as he Shunpoed to his next destination.

Malice made a short smile as he noticed Keiko stuttering. "Now, now, there's no need to speak so formally vice-captain. We're not on duty so, just speak to me as if I'm another friend of yours." Malice then turned his attention to Deane and followed as he was being given orders to wait in the dojo. The thought of being tested was hardly on his mind, but meeting the other recruits would seem to be alittle more interesting. He then bowed and replied with,"As you wish, captain! Well see ya then!" Malice then turned and began racing towards the dojo. He kept his arm on his zanpaktou, in case the straps on his arm were beginning to loosen.

The squad returned to the Dojo and began there warm up excersises. Kogi walked around correcting those who didn't have the proper form.

Keiko smiled as she finally felt at ease when she was told to act normally. She watched as both of the captain and vice-captain of the third squad left, leaving her a bit bored once more. She turned and walked off, hoping to find something better to do, she was obviously not going to do paper work.
She used shunpo to get to her squad's training dojo, hoping she would find something fun to do there. To her surprise, she did. Almost everyone on the 11th squad was busy training, doing their best. She smiled warmly, suddenly feeling a bit anxious when all of them stopped and noticed her there.
"Vice-captain Inazuma!" they all shouted together, saluting to her. She smiled warmly at them, obviously trying to hide the fact that her ears were hurting from the sudden out burst.
"So what's going on today?" she asked a few of them as most went back to what they were busy doing.
"Today is the party for the new arrival of the Third Squad Vice-Captain!" one of them said happily as they walked up to her with a big grin.
"Oh! You mean Vice-Captain Crantz? I just met him before I came here!" she replied with a big smile, which made the 11th squad member's smile grow wider. "I'll try asking Captain Asguard if we can attend...I hope he'll let us!" she added, covering her ears as another sudden outburst of cheers came. She left quickly and went to find the Third Squad Captain, Deane Asguard.

Malice was two buildings away from the dojo when he suddenly saw the the vice-captain of the 11th squad leave from the direction he was heading. A puzzled look came on his face as he past her wondering how she got there before him. As he reached the door of the dojo Malice shrugged to avoid thinking about it. Malice opened the door and was surprised by the group of people who were already inside. They all then turned in his direction and quickly took a step back.
"So, are you all apart of third squad?"Malice asked, removing his zanpaktou from his arm and placing it on one of the benches.
One of the men then approached an replied. "No, sir, we're members of the eleventh squad."
"Hmm, I see, I just saw the vice-captain rush right past me. She was in a big hurry, I guess."
"Well yeah, she went to see captain Asguard about the supri---." The man caught his words and quickly backed away. The others followed suit, by turning their backs, and staring new concersations.
Malice sat on the bench, beside his zanpaktou, confused and bored."Well, all there is to do now is wait, I guess."
