Parents can nag you all they want for you to become a doctor or lawyer but it's up to you to decide for yourself to make yourself happy.

I was close to saying that but my parents always wanted me to get a good education. They don't care what job I get, as long I can take care of myself and live happily. Including having my own house and paying everything on my own, supporting my own family too.

engineer. because it involves a lot of math and my dad is convinced that im in love with that subject (probably because he is, lol)

But, surprisingly, I actually do want to work in the medical field.

maan all asian parents are like that!!
thats why most asians are so smart, i don't get mad at my parents giving me a lecture on getting a good job and not dating till colledge etc. but even tho they say all that stuff, i'm just gonna do whatever i want when i get out of high school. Although my mom wants me to be a nurse, she might understand why i didn't chose to.
Just be who you are and do what you want that can make both happy!! <3

My parents want me to be something in the medical field...doctor or dentist.
lol my parents are weird cuz they dont support me at all when it comes to this. they're just like 'become a doctor, that's best' and that's it, they dont support or praise me when i do good in things

I wanna be a doctor but my parents don't approve of me going to University of Hawaii or Kaiser Medical University in Hawaii. They want me to go to some college on the mainland which is something I don't wanna do.

They pulled the you can do anything you want to routine and then suggested lawyer and all that shiz. I've actually put a bit of thought into this. I used to want to be a medical doctor then changed to pediatrician, and now im standing at pharmacist. Accounting is my back up plan though x.x . Im taking accounting 1 this year.

Pharmacist, Lawyer, Surgeon, Family Doctor, etc.
