Lila was walking to the kitchen. She was all dressed and ready for the day. She didn't want to work today, for she dumped her boyfriend yesterday and she was miserable. Lila was going to be more cranky than usual and the others knew it. She burst into the kitchen and put on her apron over her black skirt. Her hair was done up in a loose bun and she put a pencil in it. She grabbed a notebook of the counter and walked grumpily back out of the kitchen.

"Lila!" Alice leaned over the counter, "Come here!" she called out over the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Wyle wouldn't try her new recipe (how strange of him... he usually ate anything!), so maybe Lila would. There was a bit of flawed logic there...

John walks around the tables, checking if everything was alright. Then again, the place was kind of empty and he let out a sigh. He walked into the kitchen and saw Joel, Alice and Wyle. "Yo, people! how are we all into lovely day," he said sarcastically. John then falls on one of the empty tables. "So boring!" he exclaims.

Alice shuffled over to John with the casserole dish. "Here! Eat!" she plopped it down on the table, waiting for him to take a bite. She was getting tired of no one trying her new spinach casserole recipe.

John shrugged, he guess it was something to do. John takes a bite and a lushes feeling tingled in his mouth. "Wow! Now that is good! Then again, everything you make is good," John said taking a few more bites, and slowly started to clean up the plate.

Alice beamed at Wyle, "See? It isn't bad!"
Wyle went over with a fork, now assured that it was good. He tried to get his fork into the casserole to have a bite.

"Hey!! What are you doing!! this is my FOOD!" John said half jokingly and half serious. He thought about taking the plate away but then Alice would be mad at him. So he decided to step back and let Wyle have a bit, just a bit though. "One bite, that's all i want to see you take!!" John exclaimed over dramatically.

Alice smiled, walking away. She hummed to herself, glad John liked it.
Wyle took a huge forkful, shoving it in his mouth. "YUM!" he exclaimed, his mouth still full.

John's eyes turned red, He took more than half of what was left. You could see the steam shoot out of his ears. John saw Lila standing there watching, there were ladies in the room and he cannot pull himself to be anger over such a little thing. Even though, John he could put Wyle through the wall, he tried to stay calm and and said, "See, it was good!" trying with all his might to be friendly.

Wyle hopped off, knowing John's intentions. The little twelve year old went to his cousin, hiding behind her leg. "Lila!" he smiled charmingly up at her, knowing John wouldn't attack him there.
"I'll make some more." Alice reassured John.

As always Wyle, always had the perfect plan. He sighed and turned to Alice. "No, no I wouldn't want to trouble you, I'm going back to the front now, see if anyone coming," He said turning back towards the entrance. As he walked pass, Lila and Wyle, he nodded at Lila as a gesture of greetings and looked at Wyle and stuck his tongue out at him.

Joel had taken a concerned step toward Wyle and John, but his sibling quickly remedied the situation without any help. Though Joel could not say he thought hiding behind Lila was any kind of improvement. She looked to be in one of those moods. The sort of mood that made Joel avoid her even more than usual. "Wyle, leave her be. You are acting half your age and Lila has work to do."

Wyle pouted, pulling away from Lila. He saw Alice taking the cake out of the oven and zipped over there. "Yay!" he exclaimed cheerfully, watching as she set it out to cool. For food he had the utmost patience, it was kind of cute to see him sit on the stool and watch the cake cool.

Kira sat at the front desk. she was chewing absently on her pencil, and was waiting for a guest to show up, or for Laurence to tell her she could go do something else. she glanced at her notebook and sighed. she hadn't been paying attention, but she had been drawing all over the page she was on. Laurence and Tarra wouldn't like that, and man was she gonna be in for it if they saw it. she tore out the page, folded it up, and slipped it into the bag she always had at her side.

Alice pulled out a little cupcake, she quickly iced it and handed it to Wyle. "Take this to Kira and I'll make you one."
Wyle nodded, scurrying off. He stopped by the front desk, grinning childishly at his sister. "I brought you a cupcake!" he held it out happily.
