He hugged her, smiled, and began to leave, but spun back around. He tutted as if forgetting something, and catching her off guard, bent down to kiss her multiple times, each as if he really ment to leave but just couldn't. Something to be said for him, though, was that each of those kisses were just as loving and gentle as the last. Finally, he sighed, shaking his head. " Darn me and my mannish ways." He looked at her, face breaking into a goofy grin at the bewildered look on her face.
" Alright, I'll go and trouble you no longer." He felt overly silly and wonderfully wonderful at once. Colin gave her one last kiss, before backing out of the room, loathe to let her out of his sight. " Night, Rose. Pleasent dreams, love." He gave her one final wink before heading down the hallway and out of sight, back to his own dorm to ponder what had occured.

How he knew just what she really wanted him to do was beyond her. Rosie had been dying for just another peck or anything, but there he had gone and surprised her with a dose of loving kisses. It was a whirlwind, to be sure, but Rosie kept herself from smiling too widely to ruin them all.
And just like that, he was gone, with only that stomach-fluttering wink to think of him by. Rosie looked after him in the hallway for a moment before gently shutting the door to the room.
Finally, alone, Rosie could giggle and blush and mutter to herself about what had just happened. She danced, and hummed to herself, laughed and spun around once more. How silly, how divine it was to have someone who thought so well of her, but more importantly, it was how she felt about him. Rosie understood what all those sappy songs were about, and what the poems of all the ages meant. Colin was someone she wanted to see happy, and who she could make happy by simply being. They were both fine on their own, but together, they were just...
Well, for the time being, the right word would have to be perfect, even though Rosie knew she was far from that and Colin, being human, had to follow suit. But yes, perfect it had to be.

It was a restless night, but Rosie woke up rather... chipper. That hadn't happened in awhile, she realized.
After a day of just milling about, reading, and sketching, it was time to begin getting ready for this ball. Her pink dress was hanging near the closet in it's poofy pink glory, and it was time to start getting ready to wear it.
But this, she realized, would require help from Ella and Danni.
Rosie got herself together, and set out for Ella's room.
