DJ's held his side in pain as the hard kick from Cage connected! DJ needed to retaliate quickly. Before Cage's overhand right to the skull could connect DJ would try to shoot a few hard elbows to the side of the head of Christian to hopefully push him back.

DJ would then turn around only to raise his hands into the air motioning for yet another test of strength in a lock-up.

The match had already shifted into the next gear in Cage's head, so when DJ stepped forward to motion for that test of strength, Christian had no interest in locking up once again. Instead, his only response was to leap up and try to plant a dropkick right into the face / chest of DJ! . . Christian Cage . .

The dropkick connected as DJ's head bounced off the canvas, his chest red from the hard double kick.

. . The Instant Classic . . ( LOL, whoops. ) The referee waved Christian off, as it was a tables match. Shrugging to himself, Cage was already in a good position, and at this point, he attempted to slip around behind DJ to sit him up, looking to wear him down further with a grounded sleeper! . . DJ was locked into a sleeper hold there were no counters that he could currently think of.

. . The Instant Classic . . Knowing that he couldn't exactly win the match with that sleeper hold, Cage took this opportunity to just raise his arm and try to club it hard across the chest of DJ! Keeping DJ down at this point would give Christian a chance to roll out of the ring .. opening up the apron as he searched to pull a table out from underneath. . . Christian Cage . .

DJ held his chest as the hammer like closed fist from Cage connected. DJ clutched his upper body in pain!

. . The Instant Classic . . Removing the hardwood out from underneath the ring, Cage would take the table by the sides and proceed to slide it into the ring, pushing it in further afterward. The object of the match was to win by putting your opponent through a table, and so Christian had to be careful about how he'd set this up. For now, Cage moved over and attempted to lay a stomp into DJ's chest. If successful, he'd go and try to set the table up against a corner in a diagonal position. . . Christian Cage . .

. . The Instant Classic . . Setting up the table successfully .. you know, why the hell not? Christian Cage slid out of the ring to retrieve not one, but TWO steel chairs. Taking them onto either arm, he slid them both into the ring. Following back into the ring, Christian ran up, attempting to drill a dropkick right into the ribs of DJ. . . Christian Cage . .

DJ let out a loud yelp as the dropkick to the ribs connected! DJ rolled around in pain. DJ needed to get up and show some sort of resistance in this match.
