Jess runs forward about to thrust her dagger into the siren. But the creature moves at the last second, causing Jess to miss. But the siren takes the chance and digs one if its long claws into Jess's back. Jess screams in pain and moves to the side to let other students take a chance.

Noticing Jess getting hurt by the Siren and moving off to the side, Princess bravely takes her stance and aims at the creature with her crossbow.
Princess takes a hit and falls down landing near the young hufflepuff.

Ume aims her throwing knife and throws it...sending it spinning toward the siren. She misses, but manages to dodge the Sirens blow without being harmed.
"Bollocks..." she curses under her breath and readies another knife.

Lyra sees the siren and takes aim. She releases the arrow, hoping it will hit. The arrow misses, being just slightly too far to the right. The siren comes towards her, and takes a swipe at her. The siren, however, doesn't miss, and Lyra falls down beside Princess and Jess. "Come on Ume. You can do it. It's up to you now." Lyra mumbles.

Ume watches her fellow classmates falling one by one. She throws another knife and misses by a hair. But her luck has run out, the Siren charges her and knocks her across the room.
She leans back against the wall and grasps her injured arm, gritting her teeth. "Damn... ..."
