"Nothing wrong with liking tea, yokel or not. I -however- prefer the Yankee method of Iced Tea. Shocking, I know, but we can't all be purists." He knocked a finger against his water glass making a soft ping. "I've traveled a lot, but hot tea is something I can never get used to."

He watched her eat with something akin to surprise. He'd rarely seen a girl eat so voraciously. Not realizing he'd come to the end of his plate, his fork met the ceramic with a loud thunk.

"Ah, I guess I'm done." He said, surprised in himself as well. He hadn't realized that he was shoveling it in either. "I'll take care of the bill, you take the tip, okay?" He winked at her knowing just how 'well' she would tip the waitress.

Samyule paid, spending the necessary time exchanging courteous words with the innkeeper before joining Ella at the door.

"Alright I'm ready. Shall we go back to the School? We should probably change into our uniforms and get acquainted with the grounds."

Sam burst into the inn doors, hoping she could still get a good lunch or maybe even some dinner, she was /starving/. She was suprised to see the restaraunt part empty except for a young couple and some teenage waitressess, all bored out of their minds. Sam decided to just sit down at a table, seeing as almost no one else was there.

In some strange way Sam actualy understood about the wing crinkles. She laughed inside her head about that one. "Uhmm, let's just hope the waitress understands about the whole you have wings thing. I might've been a little less... freaked out than most people would have been." Sam hoped they wouldn't get kicked out or something. She really /was/ hungry! "Anyways, I'm from Las Angeles California where I /used/ to live with my wealthy parents, but my mom and I didn't get along so as soon as I turned 18 I moved into a small apartment with my best friend that we pay the rent for. She goes to a different college now, my best friend. Anyways, my mom wasn't happy about the apartment, but I think it might have been one of the best thinggs I've ever done." Sam chuckled, thinking about the day she moved out. Her mom had gone bazonkers, if that was even a word! "So where exactly do fae come from?" Sam was sure she was much more interested in Fern than Fern could be about her. I mean this was the first fae she had ever met. Surely Fern had met other humans!

"Oh, that's great, now I feel so oblivious!" Sam joked, laughing in response to her own declaration. "What kinds of other 'creatures' go to our school?" Sam asked, truely curious, it would be so much fun to hang out with these students, wouldn't it? "And yes, you could say I was a rebel." Sam smiled.

Sam nodded to the waitress and gave her a warm smile. Then she picked up a menu. "Hmmm... I'm /really/ hungry. I think I'm gonna get potato skins as an appetizer and a bacon cheeseburger as my meal... and I'll wash it all down with a sprite." She mumbled to herself. Then she noticed Fern eyeing the sugar packets. She laughed. "My friends and I used to eat those sugar packets when we were little. I can remember tons of great times with them. Once we even had a sugar packet fight!" Sam smiled, warmed by the memories of her friends, but sad that she wouldn't see them for a really long time.
