Sam watched as a girl about her age stepped into the shop. She was really pretty but looked down to earth and caring. Sam smiled at the potential to make a friend, for the girl seemed like a possible student at the academy. When Sam was finished getting fitted she walked over to the girl. "hi, I'm Sam. I go to Grove Academy. And I'm guessing you do as well?" woah. That was bad. She felt her cheeks redden at the embarassment of her words.
But then Sam noticed something different. The girl, she had... wings! "Uhmm... wow, you uhmm have wings?" wow, that was rude, but it was a moment of pure shock.

Fern looked at her carefully before bursting out laughing at her shock. With a spin and a wink, she only accentuated her fae origin more. "Of course I do! I'm a fae, after all! And you, you must be a human to look so terrified!" Fern bounced on her heels in a merry fashion, just too amused at all this to go get fitted.

"Uhmm yes. So this is what Miss Souris meant when she said those things about Grove Academy and Keystone students, I'm expecting that's who you are. Wow, well it's really cool to meat you, as I said, I'm Sam. What's your name?" Wow, so geeky. Sam tried starting over. "So uhmm, what exactly do you do? I mean can you fly with those wings?" Aww man, she just couldn't stop making a dope out of herself. Sam tried smiling innocently.

"Well aren't you as skittish as a doe!" she exclaimed in her slight accent. It almost sounded Irish, in a way, but not quite. Regardless of the awkward situation, Fern was taking it in stride. "I'm Fern. And, I can fly, but not like this." She wasn't sure that this girl was quite ready to see her become a small fae, especially not when it was clear that the woman who ran the shop was waiting for her to go get fitted. "But more of that later!" And in a lower voice, she added, "I have to go get some of those beastly things." With another bright-eyed smile, Fern skipped off to greet the woman who soon enough began taking measurements with her tape.

Sam laughed and sat down in a low chair by the door waiting for Fern and the store keeper. She had no idea whether she had to pick up the outfit later or if she got to take it now.

Once she was done being poked and prodded, Fern pranced back over to her new acquaintance. "Well, it looks like I get to wait for mine! Specially made, you know." Her wings fluttered for emphasis on what she meant. "But it looks like you can just pick out your sizes, there, Sam." Fern pointed to a stack that the woman had just placed on the desk at the front. "You lucky girl." Tinkling laughter filled the place at her own joke.

Sam liked Fern's laugh, it was free and light. Sam smiled and headed toward the stacks, she picked out her size and gave the woman money. Then she turned back to Fern and said, "So I went by the school supplies/candy shop. Would you like to head there then go and get a bite to eat at the inn?"

"Ooh, that would be lovely. I need a sweet stash for my room. And, I haven't eaten in awhile. The food here is so strange, though! So full of sauces and spices." Fae food was usually very light and pure. Fern was just going to have to adjust. "Let's go!" She was prepared to follow her wherever, so long as there was fun to be had.

Damian walked casually down the street, looking around. He had decided to get his uniform and supplise before causing too much trouble at the school. Besides, he figured he just might find a partner in crime eventually. Now just to find the store for his uniform. Girls on the street kept checking him out. He dropped a few a line with a wink, but waved them off. He wasn't looking right now.
Ah, here it is. There it was, right in front of him. Without another thought he stepped inside. The moment he was in the door, a woman rushed at him. "Ah deary! You have the look of a student about you, am I right?" She spoke quickly, but he caught it all just fine. "That would be me." Taking Damian by the arm, she had him stand on a round pedestal for fitting. "I'll be right back with my supplise!" With a flourish she was gone again.

Danni hurried merrily down the street, her green purse swaying as she walked. Her hair, red as part of a sunset, was still somehow pulled back into a half-pony. There were some guys her age who catcalled, but she didn't pay them any mind. One glance, and she knew they had no chance.
She came to a halt outside the clothing store, and with an eager grin, headed inside. Suprisingly, only a guy was inside, minus the employees. He was standing on a pedestal near some mirrors, no doubt going to be fitted. Dannis' figure was unique to say the least, and she doubted any thing in here would fit her right without being custom made. She took a seat near the pedestal, playing absentmindedly with a lock of her hair.

Damian sighed and waited. He didn't turn when he heard the bell at the door ring, but apparently the lady did as he heard the lady hurrying back. Still waiting, he stole a quick glance at the person that had come in. It was a girl. A very beautiful girl, he mentally noted. He didn't have time to think much more than that as the woman was back and with a measuring tape.
"I'll have you measured and out in no time!" She set about her work quickly, but Damian had other plans. First he put out his arms like he was suppose to, but before she could get the measurement he twisted them behind his back. She gave him a stern look and he grinned. Locking his hands, he brought them around front by stepping through his arms. The measuring recommenced and went fine until he did a backbend, twisted himself around to look at the girl and winked. "You a student?"

Danni let out a short laugh, standing delicately and pushing him back into a correct position. She twisted his arms to the front aswell, so she just happened to have hers around him for a few seconds. " That I am." She let go with a saucy wink. " And you would be?" She asked, appraising him as the lady went back to measuring. Her British accent was completely apparant in her speech.

"Why I'm Damian Randall." He grinned. "But you," Damian stepped off the pedestal and lended a hand Danni as she stepped onto it. "May call me Ian." The woman huffed and began to measure the girl, mumbling measurements to herself. Everyonce in awhile she would shoot a look to the boy she had just measured. "Your name little fox?"

She smiled at him, lifting her arms as directed. " Danielle Whyte. But you may call me Danni, if you wish." She spun delicately. " Though I like fox aswell." The lady finished her measurements and said she would be back out in a minute with something that suited their sizes. Danni took a seat near the pedestals as she had before, tugging on the end of her ponytail. " Why Ian?" She wondered, tilting herself so she faced him.
