He was chasing yes, but he wasn't running. Or moving in any sort of way that sent his momentum out of control. As it said in the last post Jason was only moving close enough so that the machete would be in range to strike.


Jasons attempt at attacking at unusual angles had worked.

Jason had not stabbed as the opponent apparently thought he had, instead in the previous post, Jason clearly made a right to left stab (meaning the point is coming from your left to your right)...

This would mean that if the opponent simply would twist his waist to evade the attack instead of increasing the total distance between him and Jason, his right side or front abdominals would simply be cut instead., Also since the opponent was circling out from the wall, his arching path would be putting him closer to the Jason would would intercept the circular path to end up in front of him.

Whether or not Jason missed his attack, Tamashii would attempt to place his right foot on the outside of his left. This would be hard since Jason was coming forward and the opponent was coming in front of Tres out of a curved path.

However if Tamashii was able to get his foot in place, Tamashii would then move his left foot close to his right so he could perform a low upward snapping sweep kick to Jason's left knee. The kick would have no power because it didn't cross the center line but regardless, Tres would make a low left leg check just enough to cause the kick to hit the shin while bending his right knee to maintain balance.

Simultaneously, moving in the opposite direction from the previous right to left movement, he would make a low left chop (chop meaning it attempts to hit with the edge of the blade) with his left hand machete at the lower thigh of the opponents right leg to cut the tendons that connected the quads to the knee that allowed it to extend.
