Wow, Arceus was smiling upon them or something. Saige managed to fly out of Quintrell's range before the quick attack landed.
"Swablu use your fury attack!" Hayne commanded. Maybe they really had a shot at this.
Swablu descended to give a couple quick whiffs of pecks.

 "Arrgh! Again with the annoying pecks." Kayla growled softly and Quin had the same thoughts as he attempt to get away.
"Use Iron Tail again!"
Angry, Quin halted as the last of fury attack stopped and charged at Saige with a silvery, metalic iron tail. When it gets close, he plans to jump up high and flip before slamming it into the swablu....hard.

The Iron Tail thrashed into Swablu's upper body sending her back a good amount of meters. Hayne thought about the total damaged inflicted on Saige during the battle. She'll probably demand treats for them.
Hmm, steel pwns iron right? "Steel Wing this time Swablu!" Hayne ordered.
Her glowed a white color again as she flew towards Quin, and she tried to slam one of her wings into him.

The attack of the swablu's steel wing sliced at Quin's back, which he let out a cry of pain and almost collasped with the strain of the battle. Kayla knew that Quin would not be able to last much longer and she needed to do something desparate and fast!
"You can do this, Quin! We can do this! Use Yawn!" It was a risk but if this didn't work, it would mean the end of this battle for sure. However, the battle would've ended the same if she used a different attack.
Quin struggled to get up on his feet, as his legs tremble with the effort but he managed. He emitted a loud yawn that sent sound waves towards the little bird, hoping to place the troublesome bird to sleep.Quote: 100/800 [Swift, Iron Tail, Yawn, Quick Attack]

Craaaap~ Swablu fell asleep onto the floor. Her little bird body didn't even woke from from the crash onto the battlefield. Thump~!
Hayne gave a sigh. "Saige~?" he tried. Nope nothing.

Kayla felt kinda bad for Hayne but she will apologies after the battle. Quin was at his end and now the tables has turned in his favor. "Good job, Quin!" Kayla praised. "Let's end this now. Use Swift!"
Quin ran at the sleeping swablu and sweeped his glowing tail and released star shaped energy at the little blue bird. If they miss this, they could have a go again but it would be best to end it now.Quote: 100/800 Sorry Diane. XDD;;

Hayne felt his left eye spazzing; it would twitch every few seconds for a minute. Hayne had to press a palm against his eye for it to stop. He hoped at least Saige is getting a good nap out of this.

The swift attack sent the little bird rolling along the ground, none too gently but it still slept though it as if nothing happened. The sleeping spell was working wonders.
Quin was still tired but no longer on the verge of giving up now that there was a very good chance that they would win this.
Kayla again felt bad but still had to do it. "Go on, Quin. Pick a move of your own."
Quin suddenly glowed bright white before making a very quick dash towards Saige in his quick attack.

Hayne started whistling to the tune of a Fall Out Boy song. He glanced down at Saige who was snoring away without a care in the world. Geez, it's not like he doesn't let her sleep enough during the night. They only had night training excursions once in a while. Okay maybe twice a week. Hayne should've known this would come back to peck him.

This was it. If Quin made this attack hit true, then it was over for the little swablu.
"Quin, use Swift." Kayla gave the other trainer a weak smile before seeing Quin move into action. With what grace he had left in him, the eevee sent bright yellow stars at Saige.

Hayne gave a sigh and ran a hand through his dark grey locks. He threw the pokeball towards the still sleepy Swablu with a "Return Saige!"
Hayne cupped his hands around his mouth to amplify his voice, "It was a nice battle!" He smiled even though he wanted to do the opposite.
