"My new step-father is quite the gambler..." Tenari grinned at the thought. "He could probably teach you a trick or two.. He hardly ever loses.. That's how he got my mother."
She grinned a little wider. Blackjack always referred to Venati as his "Lady Luck"... A more romantic pair, Tena had not seen. Not yet at least.
"Confused by me, yet?" She teased, leaning forward to lick his cheek playfully, then dance away.

"I could use the help..." He smirked. In more ways than one. He'd heard about those two, through the 'grape vine'. Which, roughly translated into Adante. Who heard it from Kacen, Who heard it from his mother, who heard it from Nina. Who heard it from Airithn, who knew the pair. Christ...he was such a gossip. "ALL females confuse me. You especally." He chuckled as she danced off, shaking his head. "You'll out run me, angel. You have wings."

"I'll put in a good word for you next time I visit.." She winked playfully at him. "And I'm sorry to hear that.. But if it helps, I believe all members of your gender will continue to be confounded by the complexity of mine.. And all members of my gender will never cease to wonder about the intelligence of yours."
She gave a bell-like laugh. "As for the rest, I might have wings, but I can't fly..."

Noir chuckled, trotting past her, tail running along her wings markings. "Sure you can. Just not in the traditional sence is all." He bounded down the rocks, before turning to look up at her. "Shall I show you then?"

She purred and shivered slightly at the brush of his tailfeathers, trotting after him. When he leapt up onto the rock, she paused, frowning. "You're going to show me how to fly?"
The idea delighted a delicate laugh out of her, and she quickly followed him up, laughing as she went. "Alright Handsome... Show me what you've got."

Noir smirked, trotting ahead of her. "Show you how to fly? Hell no angel. I dont have wings." He threw a grin over his shoulder. "I'm gunna do YOU one better than that." Oh, pun intended. He pounced onto a large rock, before hopping onto one several feet away. "Rock hopping."

"I'll admit, the irony of it was most intriguing.." She offered with a grin, then frowning at him. "Rock-hopping? How is rock hopping better than flying?"
She laughed even as she leapt onto the next rock, tilting her head at him and swishing her tail playfully. "As your in the lead, does this put you on the defensive? Battle rock hopping, perhaps?"
She crouched, eyeing him as though she intended to pounce on him rather than the rock.

"Someone ought to shake your life up then, don'tcha think?" She teased as she allowed him to leap to the next rock, following onto the rock he had just vacated. Crouching once more, she eyed him with a playful smirk, tail lashing back and forth.
"As for the rest.. Wouldn't you like it if I did?" She laughed softly.

Noir laughed, shakin his head. "I'm a boring male. I enjoy my mundane existace." He smiled, bounding over 3 or 4 rocks, before turning back to her. He threw her a wink over his right shoulder, sitting atop the rock. "Why, yes Princess, yes I would."

"I wouldn't say you were boring, Darling..." With another wicked grin Tenari followed Noir, jumping from rock to rock as fast as he did. However when he paused and sat and playfully winked at her, she didn't pause.
"You're about to get your wish, Handsome." She grinned as she leapt.

Stay steady, stay steady...Noir grunted, paw wrapping around her back as he toppled over. Damn, she really hit him hard too. Now, wasn't this just a cozy position.

"Gotcha!" She grinned, giggling at the question. "Yes, I do believe I am QUITE comfortable, thank you very much..."
Ok, so she probably shouldn't have pounced him. Granted, it was a flirting technique.. But not one practiced beyond the realm of cubdom. And then, usually, it was the boys pouncing the girls.
Oh well.. He was smiling up at her, and she knew she was grinning like an idiot. "Hope you don't have anything else to do today.. I don't think I'm going to move for awhile..."

"Its not really a trouble to me if you don't." She replied with a dismissive flick of her tail, her expression becoming a mask of boredom. "After all, its not like you'd cease to exist... At least, not to me..."
She fixed a suitably wicked grin on her face as she eyed him. "You know.. Me being half Spirit and all... I'd still be able to pounce you all I wanted... No matter what Realm you walked in."
