I hate to see avatar end, but i'm glad they did so great in doing so.
All four episodes were amasing. Although I have to say a lot of it was incredibly predictable. I knew once aang was on the island and gone that it was a turtle. Sadly because i played with yu-gi-oh cards when i was younger and had like twelve copies of 'island turtle'
But for it to turn out to be a lion turtle! I was SO happy. We've heard little snippets about the mighty lion turtle through out the ENTIRE series and we finally see the beast.
I didnt even get to enjoy the finale. All i could think about was 'this is it' and that my absolute favorite show for the past few years is done. It really makes me look back.

I agree that it was a great ending. I'm not extremely dissappointed with anything. I'm a little dissappointed that they never told you why Iroh went to the spirit world, where Ursa was, and the little things that they left open, but I was expecting that. So, I am still very happy with the ending. And yes, I agree that there were some pretty hilarious parts.. You gotta love Sokka. He's awesome at that, not to mention in general. I'm pretty sure I loved his sand carving the best. Lol. xd

RynnTheRaven when did iroh go to the spirit world? o.o They don't really tell you when, or show you... They just mention it. Remember in the first season finale when Zhao was telling Iroh about his plan to kill the moon spirit, and Iroh spoke against it? Zhao then mentioned that he heard about his journey to the spirit world. I believe it was mentioned in another episode too, but I can't remember it right now. Not that it is really conclusive evidence, but remember Iroh also saw Aang when he passed over him in his spirit form in the Winter Solstice too.

I don't know if I should be excited or completely depressed... I just don't know.... But we all know what the real question is, what happened to Azula?

LORD_BIG_DOGGIE I don't know if I should be excited or completely depressed... I just don't know.... But we all know what the real question is, what happened to Azula? Yup. I agree with you too. I am conflicted as well. And that seems to be one of more popular questions amongst my friends too. After it ended, we were wondering what happened to Azula.. I must say that her going crazy and banishing everyone was pretty funny though. Lol.

I thought that she wouldn't care about her friends or her father. I thought she would stab her dad in the back and become firelord...

I know what you're saying. Azula came off as an extremely independent and strong person, it is hard to believe that she had a weakness... But everyone does. And pretty much everything crumbled for her with that. They were her two closest friends, her two only friends. Despite not really showing it, she had bonds with them. And then to have them taken away by her, in her mind, inferior brother.. It had to be difficult. She is used to getting everything she wants pretty much. It was something different for her and she lost it. I mean... Azula really had no one. She lost the only two people that she really had any closeness to, if you can call it that. Can you imagine..?? Not that I am saying it was expected of her, because I don't think so. I am just saying that it's understandable.

Yes, understandable... But still.. I was kinda hoping she'd turn good, or something crazy like that. The fight between Aang and the firelord was good, and not what I expected at all. I thought Iroh would have to step in and kill his brother. But it didn't seem like Iroh really got to play any big roles in this one...

I know. Lol. I kinda had that silly hope that she would turn out to be good too. Especially after she was starting to pout about Ozai leaving her in the city. But, he played her well, and told her what she needed to hear.. Thus, she didn't turn good, just pshyco. Lol.
The fight between Aang and the firelord was amazing... I was not expecting the way it played out in any way. That alone, is awesome. I loved his avatar state, and the fact that he can now call upon it whenever he wants like he's supposed to. And the bending of all 4 elements at once, was amazing too.
As for Iroh, yes, I agree. I do feel as if he didn't play as big of a role as he deserved. I must say though, that that white lotus group had to be one of the greatest things ever!! Lol. All those benders together... Amazing.

Yes, the Avatar state was one of their greatest animated fight scenes. But I thought Zuko and Azula's fight could've been more exciting had she been sane. But I do like how they made Zuko admit that Azula never could have been defeated had she been sane. I though that Zuko would have to make that "can I really kill my sister decision?" though. It might just be the fact that Katara was the one who ended up beating Azula that bothers me, of course, seeing Katara do anything useful bothers me... *evil* Speaking on the white lotus, I loved how Bumi is so crazy. How he stacked up the tanks, lol. But... Who is Sokka and Katara's Biological grandfather?! And the Jeong Jeong fire bending flying was pretty awesome, despite the fact that I don't like him very much. But, Iroh didn't do his signature breathing fire! crying

I want one question that doesn't seem to have a clear answer.
Where IS Zuko's Mother?
