Thanatos walks in and looks at Zack. "I don't think we've fought before, have we?" Thanatos pulls his sword off his back and looks at Yamoto. "How we gonna start this partner?"

Zack walks up and puts his left hand on Michiko's right shoulder. "You ready?" He asks walking past her and putting on a pair of black fingerless gloves. "You know what Than... I don't think we have..." He said grinning wide and thinking of the upcoming battle.

Nodding to Zack, she said with a weak smile, "Ready as I'll ever be." She drew her right katana a twirled it in her hand a second, then firmly gripping it.

Yamoto smiles. "Thanatos pick the one you want I'll take the other, if you need help I'll just kill my person as fast as possible."

"Hmm. BURN IT UP." Thanatos spun and sent waves of fire towards Zack.

"Aaah! Jumping the gun a bit!" Zack said jumping to the side, and drawing his zanpaku-to. "Michiko... poison..." He muttered placing his free left hand over his mouth and nose producing a small black reiatsu mask. Zack then tapped his zanpaku-to a couple times. "Toxify the air... Kuro Tsugunai!" As he finished his sentence the dark blade shot out with a thud on the ground, and he held it in a defensive stance.

"Nice. Obliterate All In Your Wake, Muramasa." Thanatos held his flaming broadsword in one handed, and waited.

"Got it," She said, placing her left hand over her face a mask of reiatsu formed over her mouth and nose, still hazy like a phantom form of one. It was better than before, and she was glad she practiced it.
As she felt it set and was confident it wouldn't fade she swept her left hand to her other katana's hilt and drew in a fluid motion. Time to call on my own zanpaktou. Swinging her katanas out to her sides, she shouted, "Swoop, Takahishou!" Her blades morphed into their golden jagged shikai shape from the hilt down in the blink of an eye, the feathers sprouting out of the hilt.
Bringing up each blade on either side and thrusting them down towards the ground, she called out, "Take flight!" As she finished a giant updraft formed and she drifted higher, hovering like a hawk. She watched for a chance at her target.

Yamoto looks up at his oppenent. He watches her as she floated in mid air. He began to whistle a little that he stopped. "Well I guess it is time to get to work." Yamoto disappear in the blink of an eye. The ground had been crushed by the quick release of reiatsu.
Yamoto appears inches above his oppenent with his finger at her neck. "I guess I'll start out with this. Hado 4. white lightning."

As his voice came from behind her, Michiko reacted immediately, her hand sliding from the hilt of her sword the the feather tasseled ribbon on its end and she swung the blade back while ducking simultaneously. Getting her blade between her and her opponents kidou attack just in time to reflect it, the heat from the lightning shooting through the blade and radiating in the air. Wincing for a mere moment, she followed through her turning motion with a swift kick towards Yamoto.
Before even seeing if she'd hit she pushed herself away with another thrust of her right blade in the air, widening the space between them. "You're faster than when I was training for my shikai, Yamoto. Course you went easy on me when I was a newbie shinigami."

Yamoto smiles. "Oh don't worry this tme will be a little different. Yamoto gathers reiatsu in his right hand. He finely tunes the reiatsu to makes it as sharp as a blade. He charges for Michiko but as soon as he was inches away, Yamoto appears behind her swing his reiatsu covered hand at Michiko's back

As his swing came down she tried to dodge to the right, but the hit came down on her arm as she turned. The gathered reiatsu cut into it, leaving a bleeding slash inches above her elbow. Gritting her teeth, she forced her right blade forward she stabbed at his torso while he was close.
Her other hand still gripping the blade but shaking in the pain of the nerves still in shock of the hit, swung in a jerky slash at his legs.

Yamoto rolls to side to avoid the side, but can't avoided the leg. He smiles though as the blade rips his flesh. Yamoto reachs down with his let hand and grabs the blade in his leg. He draws his zanpakuto with his right hand. He squeze the blade with hs hand making sure she ccould not pull it away. Yamoto slashes his sword at Michiko chest.

Trying to pry her blade free she found it was a useless struggle considering her overall strength and weight were at a disadvantage. As he drew his blade and swung it at her, she threw her other blade in its path, locking them between the jagged spikes of her own's edge.
Realizing not that with both blades locked she couldn't use flight, she'd have to focus her reiatsu not only on the face mask to avoid Zack's zanpaktou's effect but on her feet to stay up as well. Struggling to focus it without changing the consistency gathered at her mouth, she could still feel herself slipping a few inches.
