Mappa_Douji FogSage Mappa_Douji I hate it when they change the names. Especially from Hao to Zeke zeke eugh! It doesn't suit his character neither is his voice especially when he laughed during episode 63 that just sounded stupid and they made zeke's character totally different from Hao. Zeke gets more aggitated and has a shorter tolerance to everything. XD 4kids sucks. they love to make everything kid friendly well shaman king is suppose to be rated teen! and they cut scenes and the ending was crap it's like the plot started all over again and they love reusing scenes. Half of the anime is made up like I think phudou or however his name was spelled I think he was inserted there from butsu zone takei's first manga. So in reality, Hao is like..............Uchiha Itachi? Calm, but a cold blooded killer? In a way yes but Hao isn't as cold blooded as Itachi Hao has a reason but well Itachi really doesn't have a very reasonable one. Tell me if I'm wrong I'm not that a big a fan of naruto Itachi actually doesn't go looking for fights. If someone confronts him, he usually just badly maims them, he doesn't kill them. Hao, on the other hand, thinks nothing of wiping out 7 or so people with his Spirit of Fire. sweatdrop

For the shaman fight. Hao was gonna turn away but then lyserg said he was running away from him so he held him and yes he can read minds so most probably he read lyserg's and if he mindlessly kills people then why didn't he kill lyserg huh? Always think the manga is way way different from the anime.

I haven't read the manga, but it seems obvious to me that Takei wanted to make the story of a conflict between Asakura and Tao families, but changed his mind as the story went on.

Now that I've seen it, I have to agree. It came as a shock to me, but then again, I'm bascially re-watching Shaman King.^^;
But I think there is a difference between early Ren and Hao. Ren simply wants to clean the world and Hao wants to do that and kill weak Shamans/humans. sad
