Cresan nodded in understanding.
"Yeah, I perfectly understand. My brother killed me, so... It's kinda like the same thing... Almost."
He was just about to dive underwater when a Hell Butterfly flew over to him. This was odd, but he didn't argue and let it land on his hand. After a few nods, the Hell Butterfly flew away. Cresan was beaming.
"Nice job on getting fourth seat, Kaen!"
He did a backflip underwater, and stayed there for a bit; his head was just hanging there as Cresan thought of what to do. Then he got it.
"Hey, Kaen. Wanna have a sparring match? Just for fun?"

Kaen stood up and looked at cresan, "No thank you, Im going to go and train with my shikai. That what this place is for after all." He turns and walks away from the other two and heads towards the captains office intending to ask her for some training.

Reikou walked into the Wasteland, after already walking for hours on end trying to find the place. New to seireitei, he didn't know where anything was. As he looked around, he could see different areas for different elements. To his right was Fire, easily distinguished by the heat comming from the place. To the left of him was Water, distinguished by the many pools and lakes, by what he could tell. He had just come from the Earth part, after going through forests, tall hills, and places he didn't even want to remember.
After walking to the Air area in front of him, again it took him a while to get there, first having to walk a ways to even get close. After looking around the Wind area, he saw a small area to practice with small objects. I have to start off slow. I'm still not that good with my element. I can barely even lift a rock. After picking up a rock the size of a golf ball, he threw it high into the air. As it flew up, he built up, to him at least, a large amount of reiatsu. It took him a second to do this, since he had a hard time controling reiatsu in the first place. He took too long, and the rock hit the ground in front of him.
Picking it back up, he built up the reiatsu into his hand first, before doing anything else. After his hand glowed a feint white, he threw the peeble into the air. Focusing on what he had done the first time in picking up a rock without touching it, he tried to re-create what he had done. What had happened, was, that he was in a situation where he would need to reach something. His zanpaktou had been stick in a tree, after he had jumped, right after someone had come from behind him and scared him, cauing him to hit his hand on the sheath, grabbing onto it, and launching it at the one who scared him. And then, it had landed in a tree. He had wanted it so badly; it was like a part of him. After reaching for it for hours, he had just thought of it moving, and then the wind picked up in front of him, causing the blade to fly down to him. Just as the rock flew into the air, it came back down, bound by gravity. As it flew down at his hand, Reikou thought of it floating in his hand, just being moved by the air. He thought he felt a slight breeze as he heard the rock come down. But, he soon found out that it was only the displacement of the wind from the rock flying down at him that had caused the breeze.
Reikou's hand, smashed by the rock, throbbed with pain. He held his right wrist in his left hand, trying not to yell curses out from the pain. And so, he stood there for a moment, waiting for the pain to at least subside slightly. As the pain gradually lessened, he gripped his hand into a fist. Hurting slightly, Reikou decided that it was time to start training again. Picking up the same rock he had used earlier, he again built up reiatsu into his hand, waiting for it to glow a feint white. Reikou closed his eyes, only thinking about the rock being moved by the wind. And he became the wind. He felt as if it were his mind moving the rock, using the wind as an extension of his hand as a means to hold the rock into the air. And, as Reikou opened his palm, eyes still closed, the rock in his hand floated above his palm. As he opened his eyes, the rock fell, as Reikou jumped up and down, excited by his discovery. YES! Now I can finally move something! As he laughed loudly, the rock he had in his hand fell to the ground, making a barely audible thumping noise on the ground, drowned out by Reikou's yelling. As he grinned widely, he looked around him, ready to start again. Now for something...bigger...

As Reikou looked around him for something larger to use, like a larger rock, or something similar in size and weight. Something that would be harder to use than a small rock. After seeing nothing, he sighed, not having any other option. Taking out his zanpaktou, sheath and all from the belt on his hip, Reikou placed it on the ground in front of him. After trying to figure out a way to do this, he tried to think of different ways that he could manipulate the air below the ground. This would take much more concentration and effort that just holding an object. Thinking to himself, he worked out several scenarios in his head.
One, would be to leak reiatsu into the air, and then use it to 'wrap' itself around his zanpaktou. But, this would require tremendous reiatsu control, as well as an unbelievable amount of concentration on his part. Just being able to manipulate wind and make a pebble rise was nothing compared to this.
The second scenario, would be for him to hold his hands above what he was trying to get, and then again leak reiatsu into the air. This time, he would just need to create an opposite effect of the pebble effect, where he would create a vacuum instead of a gust. At this, he hit himself in the forehead. Not only was this at least twice as hard as the first plan, but he didn't even know how to create a vacuum out of the air.
This, would be a problem. For now, he decided, he would stick to holding objects and then work from there. Picking up his zanpaktou, he held it in both hands in a horizontal line in front of him. Again gathering reiatsu around his hands, he waited until they shined a bright white. Trying to again focus on what he did with the pebble, he thought of the wind as an extension of his hand, using it as a way to move objects. As he thought of the sword moving up, he could feel a slight gust over his hands. As he opened his eyes slightly, he kept thinking of the wind, as he maintained the gust. The sword was levitating...but only about an inch above his hand. He sighed, as it dropped back into his hands. "Well...let's see...if I want to stone my enemies to death, I have that down. But now I have to work on actually doing something useful." He said it mockingly to himself, to try and make himself work harder. But, all he got was annoyed. After closing his eyes once again, his hands glowed a bright white. The only reason he knew this was happening is because if he tried to open his eyes, the sudden light made him immediately shut them. As he tried to focus harder on his sword, it moved again, this time, Reikou could feel a stronger gust. One that he knew would move the sword. As he opened his eyes, expecting to see the sword higher in the air...he saw it was now two inches off his palm. Groaning in annoyance, beads of sweat were starting to form on his forehead from the strain. He decided to take a short break, putting his zanpaktou back on his belt, strapping the rectangle-like part of his sheath to his hip. He sat there for a moment, trying to figure out a plan to train harder. One that would prove to cause better results.

As Reikou sat down on a medium sized rock; the size of a chair, he tried to think of ways to make his Wind training easier on him. Seeing as he could only create balls of wind, as well as small gusts, he wasn't very apt on reiatsu control. And then it came to him. He stood up suddenly. That's it! I need to do reiatsu training! That's why I'm not able to create much Wind, because I can't control the reiatsu that manipulates it. As Reikou looked around him, he started to grin. As this part of the Wasteland was empty, he could use anywhere around him as a way to help his training. But, for now, he would try to make balls of reiatsu, like he did when he was making his zanpaktou.
Reikou put his hands in front of him, his forearms in a straight line pointing away from him, while the rest of his arm from the elbow down was beside him. As he charged reiatsu into his hands, he tried making a ball out of it. He remembered when he had first made his zanpaktou. It had started when he first came, and learned that pretty much everyone in every squad had a zanpaktou of their own. After discarding his useless first blade, he had learned from random shinigami the ways to make a zanpaktou. Returning to the memory, Reikou started to move the reiatsu in his hands into a small ball around him, trying to make it as large as possible, as it got to golf ball size. As it got to that size, he strained slightly, as his reiatsu useage from before was starting to affect him. the golf ball sized reiatsu ball grew to the size of a baseball, glowing white. Reikou held it at that size, as he tried to think of a way to manipulate the wind easier.
Using his reiatsu to move as the wind, spreading it out among the wind and using it to make the wind move was hard, and required a lot of concentration. But, then he thought, what if he could make the wind instead of controlling it? That would be much easier than just manipulating the reiatsu and using it as wind. But, there was a problem. And that was, how was he going to control the air after he made it? If he needed reiatsu to control the wind in the first place. But, then it came to him. Leaving a slight difference in the oxygen particles made out of his reiatsu, by leaving traces of his reiatsu stuck to the particles. This would let him create Wind, as well as be able to manipulate it. As he tried to put the move into effect, Reikou knew that this would only be a quick fix, one that was only going to be used until he could really control the wind on his own, without having to make it from his reiatsu.
As Reikou concentrated on his reiatsu ball, he let the reiatsu it was made of leak out into the air, slowly making it smaller. As it went from baseball size, to apple size, to golf ball size, and then to marble size, Reikou thought this was much easier than before. Probably because he was just letting his reiatsu cling in the air. As Reikou focused on his reiatsu, he thought of what he would need to do. Changing the basic properties of his reiatsu, he used the air around him, pulling it into the mass of reiatsu around him. Using them as bases for his experiment, he tried to have his reiatsu to turn themselves into air, as the air around him melded with the reiatsu. Reikou's plan was going well. As it fused, the reiatsu clung to the air molecules, and he moved his hand, manipulating the reiatsu, as well as the wind. As a breeze was created, he jumped into the air, yelling in excitement. As Reikou landed, he started to laugh, but fell backwards from the amount of strain he had been putting on himself through his whole training session. As he lay there, he still grinned, feeling accomplished.

After Reikou had rested for a while, his eyes slowly opened, their blue pupils widening from the sunlight that shone down on him. Squinting from the sudden light in his eyes, he groaned, feeling slightly stiff from lying on the ground. After he got up, he stretched, getting his body ready for what he was going to do next. After he had made the wind, the reiatsu combined wind still remained, floating in the air around him. Reikou grinned, as he could feel the reiatsu in the air. What he would do, was continue with his training. If he could just make the wind out of his reiatsu right when he let it leak into the air, it would be much faster than making it through leaking it and then having to do the process from there.
After stretching for a few more minutes, Reikou decided to try making wind. As he let his reiatsu level rise, slowly, a white outline made it's way around his body. This would be the quickest way to learn how to make wind. It would be harder, but if he could get this down, even a little, making wind from one part of his body would be easy. As he let his reiatsu leak out of his body, he re-created what he had done before. Taking in a few oxygen particles from around him, he started to mass produce them, all of them being made into oxygen. As he did so, he had to concentrate fully on what he was doing. If he even lost concentration for a moment, he could screw something up.
After standing there and making wind for what seemed like an eternity, Reikou stopped, finally reaching his limit. As he panted from the strain of making wind, he tried to focus on his reiatsu, able to find small traces in the air. As he tried to find the wind he made, he could feel his reiatsu all around him. He got excited, again grinning widely. Now, it would be time to start manipulating it. Reikou focused on what he had done before, thinking of the air around him as his body, moving it to wherever he wanted. As he moved his left arm out in a slash-like motion, a breeze could be felt eminating out in front of him, going forwards. But, nothing was cut, nothing was even scratched. But, it was to be expected. It was amazing to Reikou that he could even do this much. As he grinned again, now it would be time to keep training, to become stronger. Then, he would obtain a seat, and obtain his shikai later on when he was strong enough to weild it. Although it was only the beginning, it felt like he had accomplished a lot, as Reikou remembered how he had been when he first started, not even being able to weild a sword. And now, he was able to make the wind and control it, to a degree, at least. It was a start. And he was going to work on it.

Mizu looked up at Cresan, standing above her on the wave of water. Tears were rolling down her eyes from laughing so hard now, as she stared at the random pair of blue shorts. She began to calm down as he went back into the water. I admire his ability though.
"I would have like to see how a fire user like Kaen would do against one of us." Mizu pictured the fight between them, with Cresan sparring in his blue shorts. When that thought sprang up, Mizu went into another one of her laughing sprees again.

Cresan sauntered back to the pond, from a long 3 week vacation... He felt utterly relaxed, and while he was gone, he realized what he could do with Chaotic powers at his disposal... And he wanted to try them out for himself.
Setting himself down into a wide and strong stance, one foot in front of the other, he began with breathing. He wanted to have a clear mind before even attempting this maneuver because he could really cause damage to himself and others. Clearing his mind, he visualized the other side of the empty pond, and a bridge of Chaotic power that connected the two.
He lifted his hands in front of him, and whispered, "Disruption..." and the air in front of them burst into life. It twisted and turned and vibrated on all levels. It looked just like a vortex should... But to try it, he'd need a test subject.
What could I possibly use to make sure I won't be Shattered along the way...? Oh-- the boulder that I used to show off Disruption!
Immediately he was over by the dislodged boulder, already going to cast Disruption. The air around the boulder became similar that of the possible vortex that Cresan just formed, and with a simple push, it went flying in the vortex's direction. It just flew through the vortex, passing through air just as it would normally. It landed in the mud pit that was left of Cresan and Kaen's battle so long ago.
Pouting, Cresan hunched over onto the ground. What went wrong? Was it not strong enough?" He pondered this as he laid back into the soft grass.

Cresan had laid there, and almost slept overnight. He woke up around 11 at night, and decided to wander the Squad... The night breeze was extremely soothing, and gave him a sense of purpose. Training before had felt like ridiculous repetition, but the bright full moon in the sky and the twinkling stars that pierced the darkness sent him an unspoken message: "Do not let youself go unseen in the darkness, shine as brightly as you can, so that one day... The whole world will see you shining in the dark night."
He smiled at their optimistic message, and headed back to the Wastelands for more training. But what to do about that stupid vortex? It bends the light and gravity that it surrounds or is enveloped by, and black holes result from gravity... As do wormholes. I connected the bridge and created a bend in spacetime that would suffice. But... creating a full-fledged black hole is dangerous. Its like sending a horde of Hollows thorugh New York City or Tokyo without a shinigami in sight... But--wait! I've got it!
Before he could even think it in the conversation in his head, Cresan began to act. If it bends light... then the light around it can be controlled by me, the source of the chaotic disturbance. And if I can bend the light reflecting off of me, then my figure won't reach my opponent's eyes! oh, this is genius! And... gravity will be bent, too. Energy itself rushes to the warp, and since matter and energy are interchangable... I can sneak around while I have a solid dummy do the dirty work! Its the perfect stalling tactic while I summon water for attacking! And even if someone figures this out, my presence is still technically where the dummy is! Oh, yes!
He didn't wait a second for caluculations;he had to try this theory out, NOW. "Disruption!" The single word brought the air to life once again, but this time was different. The chaos reiatsu began streching itself around Cresan at his command, and as it did all light was sucked away from him. He was in pure darkness. This drawback was fine by him, as long as he could get around. He took a few steps to his right, and concentrated on another Disruption that was to be a few steps to his left. Closing his eyes, he imagined the light blending colors together to form a simple shadow of himself. Like what he would look like in one of those silent movies he'd seen on his excursions through the Real World. That was when he released the Disruption around himself, facing where he had came. Just a few feet away was a flickering version of himself.
Although completely thrilled that his theory has begun to work out, he realized just how much energy it took for that spell. Dragging his feet, he headed off to the barracks to go get himself a room. His smile was the only energetic part of him left.

Mizu walked over to the pond. The water area of the elemental wastelands. She sat on the emerald grass, next to the beautiful, flowing, azure water. Sitting here, reminded her of when she was here, a while back, with Kaen and Cresan. She giggled under her breath as the thought of Cresan reminded her of those rediculously random blue shorts of his. She remembered him trying to perfect some kind of spell last time she was here, sitting in the exact same spot. What WAS that he was trying to do last time.
Mizu placed both of her hands over the water, and water from the river, rose up to her hands. The water began to form into a person looking object. It formed perfectly into the exact shape of Cresan, in his shorts. "Haha, Im just bringing back a good laugh."
She thought of the kind of spell he was using, and it did seem very impressive, what he was trying to do. I Wonder if that was one of his skills, or whether it was a kido I didn't know about. I just need to learn how to be the best shinigami I can be. Mizu still didn't know much about bieng a shinigami, or about the Sereitei.

Cresan broke out of his focus to see Mizu playing with a aquatic version of himself, had to give a laugh. He realized just how ridiculous he looked in those blue swimshorts, and he figured it would always be a joke of theirs. Since the Chaos illusion was eluding him, he decided to work on his Water abilities. In a pain of guilt and anxiety, Cresan remembered that he had sucked up all of the pond in his fight with Kaen...
Turning around, he screamed a very loud cuss word: "Woah! Mizu, where did all of this water come from? There was none here just a little while ago! I drained it to fight Kaen!"
He fell to the ground, stunned at the strange trick someone had pulled on him. Someone had found out, although his and Kaen's fight had ended not so long ago... Only yesterday!
