Shirah pounced and landed in a ditch. She landed in what seemed to be a burrow of fallen leaves from a nearby tree. It was well packed and quite comfortable. However, it was not where Giza was. She gave a soft grumbled under her breath before hearing her mother's words of being careful and that she could not see her.
"I'm alright, mother! I'm right here!"
She called back, popping her head back up for a moment before looking off to find her sister again. Now where was she?
It did not take long before she caught her scent again and off she went. This time, for sure, she had found Giza.
"Here, Giza, Giza, Giza, little Shirah just wants to play with you. Come out, come out, wherever you are~"
She beckoned, closing in on the location. She hoped.

Giza listened and heard her sister closing in. She grinned widely. Really, Shirah was only giving away her position. It made it all the easier for Giza to find her escape.
She tried to move without making a sound away from where she was... but then she stepped on a twig. "Oops..." She mumbled, hoping her sister hadn't heard. Even if she had... maybe she could still get a head start?

"Gotcha!" She cried, her ear flicking toward the snapping of the twig. So easy to locate, she made it far too easy. Without a hestitant thought, she ran toward the sound in a tiny roar like cry. She had to admit, if Giza got a head start, she'd never catch her and she'll lose!
"I'mma gonna getcha!"
Yorik smiled softly as she watched their forms slowly fading into the soon becoming darkness. It would not be long now.
"Girls, please finish your game soon. We don't want your father worrying..."

"Oh man..." Giza muttered, jumping up and bolting as quickly as she could, and as silently as she could, to try and escape from her sister. She barely even heard her mother calling.
She had to focus. Had to think. Like her father had told her. When on the run, dissapear so they won't find you. She had to remember. How to get away... how to hide... hiding... hide and then pounce... even when you're running, you can hide.
She moved into the shadows, trying to hide amongst the folage. She was on hard ground... no footprints... but the smell... well, her sister would certainly follow the smell... but maybe she could turn it into a suprise attack?

Shirah smirked. Unlike their siblings, they were the two without those accursed eyes. They did not have to take it easy and let them do all the work, nope, they can do the work themselves. In this case, her nose did. Giza's scent was easy to pick up, following it was effortless, her eyes kept on the look out for that sneaky sister of hers.
"I am the spy of the family, you think you can hide from me? HAH!"
She taunted, hoping she will speak out for her. She heard her mother's words and took them to heart, but she was not ready to give up just yet. She would never until they had decided to end it together.
"Say, Giza, lets call it a win or lose, all or nothing. I find you, I win. You pin me, you win. No antes. Just dun wanna keep mama waitin', y'know?"
She was sure to get an answer now...

Giza only grinned and waited for her sister to move closer to her. Now she didn't want to hide. She wanted to be found... after all, one thing her sister wouldn't expect was what she planned.
As soon as Shirah came close to Giza's hiding spot, she dove out, with a loud 'roar' of suprise. After all, to win, all she had to do was pin her sister. Hopefully, she had managed to get her sister down before she could even THINK of saying she had won.
After all, there was bound to be an arguement no matter who was in the right. Which would force their mother to be the referee. Lest they wake up their father... which would not be pleasent.

Shirah approached closer, fully prepared to jump and pin her sister. The little one's mind buzzed with the ideas and images of superiority to Giza. She standing triumphantly over her. Her sister pleading for forgiveness for questioning her abilities. Grinning slyly, she crept closer.
But what came next was a surprise, one that turned her small world upside down.
The other cub roared over her. Instinctively, she moved away from, tripped back and fell under Giza. She was pinned. Shirah growled and wiggled underneath her, "Not fair! Y-you caught me off guard, that isn't fair at all!"
Yorik moved closer with a soft smile, watching her daughters play their game. She looked absolutely tired even her movement was slow and sluggish. "Girls, girls, it is all fair. Have you not learned anything from your father? Do what you must to accomplish your goal, but have some fun when it is with your sisters and brother," The white female yawned once more before laying herself nearby.
"Shall we wrap this up and head back?"

"Sure mom." Giza said, brimming with pride as she stepped off her sister, flicking her tail in a superior manner, "Guess you'll have to pick up some slack Shirah. Or you'll never catch a bird." She grinned, very proud of her plan.
Maybe the suprise thing with the bird had taught her more than she had ever hoped to learn... It had let her beat her sister, after all, and really, what was more fun than that? Except beating all her siblings at the same game in front of her father and Kyra of course... But impressing her mother was really just as fun.
"All is fair in love and war Shirah!" She giggled, wondering how on earth she would sleep after her grand success that night. Maybe she wouldn't at all... "And don't worry mom. I had lots of fun. I always do."

Shirah growled, rolling onto her belly. How could she have lost!? This was not over, not by a long shot. There was still plenty of time to beat her, there will be other chances. "F-fine! You win, this time, but I will be the winner next time, I will beat you!" Shirah huffed, brushing past her as she ran back to the den where the rests were just about waking up at this point.
"I'll race you back!"
Yorick shook her head softly with a smile as she started after her lightest daughter. Wonderful, they were going to develop of a competitive streak and she was going to be the referee... She felt a little sorry for Riddick, but she was sure a male like him can handle a little fighting...
"Don't wake your father, Shirah," She called out, taking her sweet time getting back. Oh what it would be like to finally close her eyes and fall asleep. That's it... before the sun falls, they arehisproblems...
"Come along, Giza, I don't think you plan to lose this race now..." A smile crept upon her maw as she slowly began to pick up her own pace.

Giza glanced up at her mother and grinned, flexing her paws quickly, "Not a chance! But if you don't run, we'll both beat you back mom!" She challenged, before she took off after her sister as quickly as her paws could carry her.
After all, one could never win enough... and some healthy competition never hurt anyone, now did it?
