Nim tilts her head a bit when looking up from her food and blinks "yeah it took like four and a half days walking fast and running and some of the preditors are really scary around here good thing i am good with a bow otherwise i might not have made it all."

"not really. Just fast i guess and a really good shot. My dad has been teaching me to shoot since i could barely walk and how to be light and fast on my feet since i could walk. Makes travling easier by myself because most people are not trained to well travel i guess" laughs a bit at her silly explanation not sure how to word what she was trying to convey "do you do any travleing?"

"Well, not without horses anyway," she answers with a smile. "And, no, I really don't travel. The farthest I've ever really been was the canyon about a mile out of town." She liked to go flying there, when it was empty. She would never tell her father, though. She had been strictly taught to keep her wings out of view. Since the fall of Celestia, Celestials had been turning up dead all too often, with their wings cut off. Someone had it out for the race and it was for her own protection. Still, she was born to fly and absolutely had to stretch her wings once in a while or she would go crazy. Not to mention cramp up like you wouldn't believe.

"canyon wow must be pretty neat there. I have never really seen one i guess...not any near where i come from" she drifts off a bit wondering what it must look like. Wonders if is far to the bottom and what not. she shifts a bit her back twitching though she didnt know why but her strange tattoos twinged a bit thinking about canyons "hey you would not happen to know if anyone was looking for some help around here would you. I would like to stick around for a bit but i need a job" she asks with a bright smile

"Well, I could ask my dad. He should know who in town needs work. And I could take you to see the canyon, if you like. There's a fair there around this time every year. I haven't heard that it's around, yet. But it could arrive anytime, now."

bounces with excitment "that would be great. I hope your dad knows a few places that could use my help. and that would be great of you to do! And a fair to so cool i saw one once when i was little but i do not really remember it" almost wants to squeel her excitment but refrains from doing so so that Mikora would not think she was insane

"It's soooo fun," she gushes, squealing a little herself. "Some of them are almost like townsfolk. We know them so well and there's great performers and a fortune teller and there's always news from outside and merchants with some really interesting items." She says it all in one breath. "Um, I can probably take you when my dad gets back. I'll be riding, not walking though," she says giving Nim a smirk.

laughs "sounds like soooo much fun i cant wait" really does squeel this time already attached to her new friend and glad she had met someone so nice on her travels. It was nice to have someone to have fun with she had been pretty lonely travleing and decides she would stay longer then her normal time frame if she could." smirks i maybe be fast but even a horse outruns me i must admit" pouts but it quickly turns into a big grin

"Well, I'm sure it'll be fine if I stick to a walk," she teases. "But if you want one, I'm sure we've one you can borrow." She places an elbow on the table and her chin in her hand. "So do you have any new rumors?" she asks.

"i think i will take you up on that my legs and feet are a bit tired from walking still" she takes a moment to think about if she has heard anything in awhile " hmm well there has been talk of severl girls lately disappearing. I guess the talk has been the kiddnappers have been looking for so called "special" children that have uniqu abilities that might be related to the celestials lost children. Along those same lines there has also been a string of deaths like a serial killer but no one has a clue as to who could it be or why. Its all jsut a bunch of mysteries" she tries to think of anything else but being on the road the last few days she really had not gotten any current and the most up todate news

"I see." Mikora looks a little sad at the news. Her father takes that moment to walk back in. He was a short, stocky human man, late in years with short gray hair neatly combed back, his sideburns grown out and a bit of facial hair, as though he hadn't shaved in a few days.
"Hello, Miko. How has it been," he asks. He bears a large sack of something that he places behind the bar before walking over to the table.
"Hello, Papa." she greets her father with a kiss on the cheek. "This is Nim," she gestures to the half elf. "She's just in town and is looking for work. Can you think of anyone that might need help?"
"Well, let's see now," he examines Nim, looking down his nose at her, his head cocked back a bit as though he were trying to see through a pair of bi-focals. It wasn't snobby, simply as though he were trying to decide what she might be best suited for. "What sort of work, would you be looking for my dear?" he asks.

squirms as she thinks "hmmm well i am good at hunting, helping take care of little ones, i can cook and clean and i get along with people well, sooo i guess anything that has to do with any of that would be great" she replies

He rubs his chin as if thinking. "Well, I'll see what's available in town and I'll get back to you. Might be that I could use you here," he says. "Name's Frank, by the way." He holds out a hand for Nim to shake.
"Papa, we were going to head to the canyon. Nim's never seen one. Is it ok if I take her?" Mikora, pipes in.
Frank frowns a little. "I don't know..." he starts but sees the pleading look Mikora gives him. He sighs. "Well, how can anyone argue with that? Alright, but be back by sunset. And be careful."
Mikora grins. "Thanks, Papa." she says. "Oh, and can Nim borrow a horse?"
"By the stars, you're just a demanding one, today. Aren't you?" Frank responds, though he smiles when he says it. "Yes, she can borrow a horse."

shakes his hand "that would be great of you Mr. Frank" she pipes enthusiastically. She watchesthe exchange between them and her eyes go sad for just a sec thinking of her own father and how much she missed him before perking right back up and bounces happily "yay i am so excited" she jumps out of her chair ready to go but not before stacking her dishes neatly "is there a place i can put these first" she asks
