Oh, God. I despise those darned shoes. D: And they are not comfortable. >< I wore them to go outside once because they were near the door and they killed my feet. -_- And the holes in them make it impossible to keep your feet warm.

I don't really like giving out croc stories, but, this one happened to a friend of me parent's so~ : Well, she was walking down the street with her crocs in 2oo6 and slipped on some water. Normally, you'd be okay, but the way she fell on her ankle twisted it & the bone came out of her leg. She had surgery, and 2 months later she wasn't better... Anyways, 2 years later, she had has an other surgery and she still can barely walk on it. On her second surgery they implanted something into her ankle to reduced the pain, but it barely bends anymore. You should see her walking up the stairs... It's sad. She says "At least I'm off Morphine!" and smiles
/end. D: Well, I really don't like them anyways, they're quite ugly and I don't know how they are comfortable. : / Hardest things ever! >: Plus, it's recommended for water and you shouldn't use them on escalators, so what are they good for?

Yeah, an article in a local newspaper told of the dangers of wearing Crocs on escalators. Beware, they might get sucked in. There was this boy, whos was 6-ish and he was wearing Crocs. Well, his family and him went to the malls, and when they were going home and on the escalator, the father heard a cry behind him. He was carrying the baby pram so he couldn't look back, but when he got off, he looked back and saw that one of his son's food was bloody and the Crocs was already torn and eaten by the escalator. Good thing the man behind the kid helped him. He had 6 stitches. This did not happen to kids only, apparently. 0-0 A similar accident happened several times, and it was on the newspaper. Beware people. I've always thought they were ugly, but who knew they were also dangerous?

Crocs are fashion disasters. I've always thought they were ugly, but there have also been reports of chemical burns received from wearing them.
I'm not slamming on China or anything, but a factory producing crocs there had exposed the shoes to improper chemicals and some had spilt on the shoes. Kids wear them, and the rest is history.
I see no reason to wear anything that doesn't keep my feet warm, since I'm a big hater on the cold. If I don't want my feet warm, like in the summer, then I wear sandals. At least I don't have to worry about something other than the sun cooking my feet.

Hm, Crocs huh. Used to seeing them where I live. Then again no one where I live truly cares about fashion, most of the time at least. We color code if we are lucky after all. To me if it is comfortable then wear it. Heck in the winter I'm wearing a light t-shirt and shorts when it is -10 degrees out. I love the cold, so to me it is about comfort. If your comfortable wearing something then I see no reason not to wear it. However, I really don't see me wearing crocs anytime soon anyways. Heck they are not even in my size I don't think lol. So overall I have nothing against them, but then again when you grow up in an area where the fashion don't is to not go to school naked then...or go to school nearly naked, well unless at a football rally then it might as well be allowed.

Ugh, god. They are the ugliest things on the planet. And have you SEEEEEEEEEEEN the colours they come in?!?
One girl I knew had them in OLIVE. I just wanted to be sick...
I will admit the teensy itsy bitsy baby-sized ones are remotely cute, but I'd never buy them for a kid to wear...I'd glue them onto some of that flower arranging foam and make a craft out of them...

I especially hate crocs that have stupid designs on them. Seriously, they look cheap. They are still handy for fishing or doing stuff on a beack though. But definately not to compliment an outfit stare

i think they are ugly too but with escalators that can happen with flip flops and sandals. I like to use them as a running shoe. Yea i know you will slip... yea no i bought them in a size that fit... then i don't use any shoe where the tread is gone... They may be ugly but they aren't dangerous. it's like heeleys many people have hurt them selves but most of the times it was from there own stupidity. one more comment on the running shoe part they make for great shock resistance they absorb the impact then bounce back giving me a boost of speed but that is because i run on my toes not flat footed like my friends who think i am nuts for many reasons...
