Lucky Charms Pancake  Thing is, I have to have my mom do it cause salons are expensive xD
I don't wanna bleach my hair, so would I go a shade lighter?Yeah salons are expensive, but at least you'll get the exact color you want. Orange hair is a huge b*tch to fix. Second, if you do decide to do it yourself, bleach it out. You'll get a clearer color.

I don't wanna bleach my hair, so would I go a shade lighter? you should be ok, even dirty blonde comes out pretty much how it's supposed to . . . if you by a kit and get the mom to do it . . . by one that has a second dye to add shades, they work very well and easily . . . lemme see if i can find one i used a while back . . .

Well... you can always try dying a small piece on the under side of your hair to see what it's going to come out like.

i want to dye mine purple with blue streaks in the front. biggrin and i'll probly get it cut in some kinda style too... considering it's been a year and a half since i got it cut last

I dyed my hair several years ago, and whoa...was that ever a mistake!!! I have naturally dark red/brown hair and I wanted to go blond. Stupid me, I forgot that I should have used a lightener before I had the dye put into my hair. I ended up with calico hair for a while...lol.

My mom wont let me cut my hair so I get finger waves and the back of my hair is in a french roll.
You can never tell until I turn around. XD

 If you are really nervous about the dye, try a semi permanent. it will wash out and not do any damage to your hair long term.
I cant remeber what colour my hair is anymore. As you can see from my sig phot, ive had pink, I did have green, black, brown, ginger, red, blonde, purple...you name it, ive probably killed my hair with it.
Anyways...have fun! Experiment. I dont think your hair will need bleaching before hand for that shade, but you have to be prepared for variations!

I would go for a brighter color and only do the underside.
Though I don't think you'd need to bleach your hair before you dye it any way you decide to.
Your hair is light enough.
Avoiding bleach whenever possible is a good idea.
Destroys your head!
Right now I have a couple of blond streaks on the left side of my head. They are on the underside. They used to be greenish, but the blond is really starting to grow me. I just need to get them toned.
