A large green chinese symbole formed on the ground"Stand up. As a hyuuga your eyes allow you to see this, this is called the eight trigrams zone of devention. This is your maximon range of your attack based on size, skill, and speed. If someone is standing in your deventions you can almost instantly attack them. To create this feild of devention is very sympole for everyone has one. But only a Hyuuga can effect it enough to give it a physical manifestation." Razune let the feild fade away. Sorain stood," Now, tap into your blood line, focus on the calm formation of gentle fist. Balance the chakras and release." Sorain nodded and almost instantly a feild of chakra that was green just like his brothers expended from his feat,"I dont understand something. How come yours is larger, you are not all that taller than me, nor are you all that faster." Razune nodded,"Yes, but I am better at balancing the deventions than you , this is my skill level. This is why I have a farther attack range than you" Sorain nodded in agreement. Razune stood still, then raised his two arms slowly both palm down, moving his right leg back and his left forward he shifted his weight to the right side of his body, extending both arms forward palm outward"Gentle Fist" He said then extended his left leg forward while keeping his right in place for support and balance. Lowering his left arm forward and slanted towards the ground and his palm down. His right arm slanted upwards behind him palms faced up,"This is the beggning stance of the eight trigrams sixty four palm" Sorain got up and did the same, at the same time they both made a clone in front of them to practice on,"Alright Rain, lets do this. One, Two, Three.Sixty Four Hands of the Eight Divinations. Eight Trigrams, 64 palms" They both said at the same time. Leaning there left arms slightly back, they both kicked off with there left foot sending them running full force at the clones who braced themselves. They were in perfect sycronization, right before they got to the clones they sup on there heel for a stronger force and landed the first two strikes right above the neck and and waist,"2 palm" Reaching back with there right arms they struck forward with there right, then left, then right again, then left."Four Palm!" They said at the same time, then landing two more swift blows they spun on the ball of there heels swining there right hand forward to land the continueing eight"Eight Palm!" Then they proceeded to push forward draging there feet for the longer streams,"sixteen palm!" The barrage continued with them striking left, right, left, right"thirty two palm!" They both raised there hands high in the air and brought it down with a huge force, sorain let out a battle yell"Ahh! the sound of there blows hitting the flesh of the clones could be herd like bullets hitting a wall,"SIXTY FOUR PALM!" They both yelled slamming there open palms into the chest of the clones sending them crashing into the water. Sorain and his brother paused then stood up. There matching devention gates on the water survace."That.. Is.. cool" Sorain said with a smile.

"Yes well make sure you take it serisouly and dont go trying to teach the ways of our clan." he said folding his arms into his kimono,"I wont... So are you gonna teach me anything else today?" Razune turned and started walking off the lake" Nope, not today. We both need rest. Just tell me what you want to learn and I will teach it to you. Maybe one day I will find you worthy to learn the eight trigrams 128 palm" He said smiling and walking away. From behind him he herd,"WhAT! There is a 128!. You gotta teach me that come on" Razune shook his head,"Your not ready, do some taijutsu training and then get back to me. Right now your stamina nor your speed is strong enough to do this without making yourself extreamly tired which would be bad for you. You will learn in due time, just focus on the medial jutsu, leave the clan stuff to me. Ill teach that" He said leaving the lake and walking home. Sorain sat down on the log that he normally rested on and pulled out his bottle of sake that his brother had swiped from him. He took a long hard gulp and leaned back. That was one more jutsu that he could add to his list. The next thing he would do is learn some elemental jutsu, some stuff that could make fighting for him something besides taijutsu. Which he was going to have to make sure he trained for so that he could learn this eight trigrams 128 palms. Just like his brother to hide such valuable information from him. No matter, he would eventually learn it and use it against him. He smiled, now that he knew this he was now sure that he had completed his absolulte defence. If someone was trying to attack from a long distance he would use heavenly spin, if they got close he would be able to use the eight trigrams sixtyfour palms. This was perfect, although he still would not be able to beat Sai because of the marbles he would be able to beat most people with this, all he had to do was get some more offensive jutsu. Maybe a few water skills and a lightning here and there to balance him out. Yes he was in for a long set of training. After a moment of rest Sorain got up and went home going right to sleep.

Sorain and his brother took there normal places at the lake like usual. When ever Sorain had a free day to train he would bug his brother untill they started today's training. Sorain was under the impression that todays lession would be the 128 palm attack but he was sadly mistaken."What do you mean we are not doing 128! You jerk, you just dont want me to learn it cus you know I will use it against you and kick your a** three ways to sunday!" Sorain yelled, not really knowing where he got that metaphor from. Razune sighed and allowed Sorain to finish his rant before adding his own two cents,"Your not ready, not by far. I told you. Its not so simple as to do it, you must have a further knowledge of the deviation." Sorain pouted for a moment and then let it go,"Well then, what is the lession?" He questioned,"Well, I think that since your friend is very moblie and leaving you the dust Im going to teach you Mist Instantaneous Body Skill. Its a skill that will allow you teleport from one place to another by condensing your body into mist and traviling through the air at very high speeds. Trust me, this will come in handy, just shut up and do as I say." He said turning around and walking a few steps away to put some space between him and Sorain so that he could demonstrait how to do the jutsu.

Forming a few hand seals Razuke opened his mouth and said,"Mist Instantaneous Body Skill" In a cloud of mist he was gone and reparead behind Sorain with a smile." Ok, now, you know how it goes, you repeat." Sorain was used to this by now so he no longer complained with the usual arguement of how he was supposed to do it without having Razune tell him how. He just assumed that like all the times before things would work themselves out. He made a mental note that once he was able to teach Razune some medical jutsu he was not going to be easy on him at all, what so ever.

Sorain allowed time to slow down in his mind. He formed hand signs and prepaired his chakra for the jutsu, in his head things were moving very slowly but in reality on a moment had passed. He could think so fast that what felt like a long and drawn out thought process would only last a couple of secconds on the outside. Sorain had to make a choice, how was he going to go about doing the jutsu. Seeing as though this was another one of those jutsu that most people had already learned he determiend that it must not be all the difficult to do, the trick was figureing out.. well the trick. His good for nothing brother who always wanted to go Mr.Meyogi on him always tried to teach in riddles in stead of actually telling him what to do. Sorain looked at the spot that he wanted to move too. He felt the water below his feet and all around him, even in the air. His first thought was to try and mold the chakra onto each cell of his body, and carry it through the moist streams through the air, or maybe through the water and reform on the other end of the lake. This seemed semi practical, enough so that Sorain determiend that he would take a shot in the dark and just do it this way. He focused his chakra, and tried to envision his entire body as a puzzle built from billions of cells. He then vocused on minipulating the chakra in the air, in his body, and below his feet as best he could and then condense the air around him to provide cover for his body while he moved. A thick mist formed around sorains body, then in one swift movement. All that process activated all at once sorains body fadded out and back in only a few steps away from where he was, it was not across the lake but dammit it was progress.

Razune watched his brothers progress and was not even impressed, mostly because this was a relitivly simple jutsu and he was suppose to breeze through it so it was nothing special,"That was nice, but you did not do it far enough nor fast enough" he said, which made Sorain very pissed. Razune knew that he was getting under his brothers skin and was enjoying it very much. Raze formed hand signs and did the jutsu with no problem landing himself right in front of Sorain, in close enough range to pluck him on the for head and intruct him to do it again, and fast enough to get out of the way to avoid the hand of rage and wrath that Sorain was bound to bring down in response to the tap on the forhead and all the badgering.

Sorain felt the hit on the head and even then he managed to keep calm, but he was about to go on a ramage if his brother continued to act like high and mighty super sensi. This was making Sorain wonder why he inquired helped from his smart a** bother. This was not something that Sorain had the energy nor patience to think about so he mearly let it slide of the brim of his mind and focused on compelting the jutsu eairly so that he could get some other training done before the day was out. This jutsu would not set him back a whole day, Sorain would make sure of that much at least.
Trying again Sorain formed the hand signs and did the jutsu, this time landing him further away, still not across the lake like was aiming for but at least it was more progres, this is how Sorain saw it. But of course, Razune saw it as a failed attempt and proceeded to jeer and bicker and nagg like an old school teacher. Sorain did not know how much more of this he would take before going into attack mode, but some how he managed to surpress the urge to slam his brothers face into the water.
After he had done it a few more times Sorain was sure that he could make it too the end of the lake but he would not do it just yet, no no no, it was time to take his revenge. As soon as Razune attempted the life daring pluck on the forehead and endless bitching followed by running using the exact jutsu Sorain was trying to learn Sorain followed right behind him. Landing safely in front of his brother who of course, managed to keep Sorain from attacking with high ranked taijutsu skills....well actually he was mearly holding sorains head while his little brother swung his arms like a mad man. Getting no where Sorain eventually stopped his attack and vowed that he would get revenge when his brother least expected it, which in turn put Razune on a since of timidness around his brother for fear of his highly vengefull wrath. But even through all of this they were both ready to begin training session number two for the day.

Sorain got back home and went directly to his bed room. Once there he slid off the battle torn kimono and threw it into a large pile of other ripped up cloths that he had returned home from missions in. Then moving to the bathroom he examined his wounds more closely, he was shocked to see that he had not actually been hit more than one or two times, but still he felt as though he was in the worse fight of his life. It was most likely due to the toll of the genjutsu that he was under for so long. Sorain turned on the water and filled his hands, then splashed it to his face, he then took a long look at himself in the mirror and then dryed his face. Stepping back into his room Sorain went to his closet and pulled out a large scroll, he then slipped on a tee shirt and some paints, he was traviling light, he did not even bother bringing his head band or ninja pouch with him. Going to his window and leaping out Sorain flipped in mid air and then landed with a burst of mist at his lake. He was glad to have learned that skill. It made travel very easy, and since he did not have to actually run to his lake maybe less ppl would find it.
Once Sorain reached his lake he took a look around, all was clear, no new intruders today, he was getting the feeling that maybe, just maybe, everything was going to be ok. He had no more missions to do and intended to take a nice long vacation. Sorain thought for amoment how fair he had come in the recent month or so. He went from weakling to a genin with a pretty decent chakra level and some pretty good strengths. All he lacked was a healthy list of learned jutsu and now that he had some down time he could devote the next week or so to his ninja training, it was long over do that he did some solo training. He had become relyant on his brother to teach him everything and decided that this was not the way to go. He was ready to take things into his own hands.

Walking out to the middle of the lake as he always did Sorain unstrapped the large scroll from his back and rolled it out ontop of the water and sat in a medditation position. It was a scroll that had many common and well known mist jutsu. Made to help genin that did not have a sensi. Sorain get relaxed and deep into his meddiation, he wanted to make sure that he was at his best chakra controll before starting his training. Play time was over, it was time to push his limits some, so far everything that he had learned was pretty much a cake walk and although he proved that simple jutsu were very helpful he needed some power house moves, sometimes it was better to be about to over power the opponent without being hurt. He was tired of having bare knuckle to the death fights that ended with Sorain using everything he had to win and being left with hardly no chakra left. No, he wanted to be able to just be flat out stronger than someone once and a while and today he would make the first real step at becoming a great Shinobi. He did not really want to be a Shinobi but he had made the choice for his friend Sai. If he was going to be on Sais team, and if they were going to go on missions together, he was going to have to step his game up. Especially the missions they were assigned that somehow always ended in some huge fight that could get them both killed, if it was one thing that Sai and sorain had it was experience, no one could take that from them. They had been through some things that some ninja dont experience untill much higher levels. After Sorain had finished medditating for what felt like an hour or so he felt like he was ready. He stood up and searched the scroll for a suitable new jutsu. He happend to stumble upon the Aquatic Shockwave. A very handy jutsu in which the user expells a large amount of water from the mouth, comming from the gullet and floods the area providing water for other attacks, then the user is able to ride waves to give themsleves a good momentum boost as well as speed. IT was very handy for sure. Sorain nodded then got ready. He read over the steps as clear as he could and then got ready. Forming hand seals sorain yelled,"Water Seal- Aquatic Shockwave!" Doing everything that the scroll had said Sorain only managed to force about a cup full of water from his mouth. After about four or five tries sorain came to the realalization that he was already in a large area of water, and if he used this jutsu he would over flood his own lake. Sorain put his training on hold to try and find another place that he could go to train. Forming hand seals sorains body turned to mist and was gone.

Sorains body reformed in a small forrest right outside the village, it was very light on trees and was plenty of space for traning. Sorain made sure to make a mental note of this place for anytime he did not want to train at his lake. He pulled out his scroll and placed it on the ground, he made sure to coat it in chakra, that way if he did manage to flood the area the scroll would not be damanged. He even went far enough as to write a symbole on it with the kanji or "return" on it and his arm so that in worse case situation he could summon it back to him. This was a trick that he had learned from his father before he left. Sorain began to form the hand signs again, like always the hand signs were no issue for him. After finishing Sorain focued chakra down into his gullet to echance its ability to store water and expell with a gaging reflex. The he sucked in air deeply into his lungs, his body used the air in his lungs to convert it to water then duplicate it, then force it into his gullet where it would be stored and expelled in one large burst. Sorain opened his mouth wide as if he was choking on something, then hunched his back and leaned towards the ground, and sure enough water sprout out like a fire hydrant filling area with about a good four inches of water. Sorain kicked the puddle, and whipped his mouth. Like he always said, progress was better than nothing at all for dam sure. But then he decided that it was better that he did it this way anyway. This way he could practice the wave minipulation and riding on less water and less speed so that he would have better chances at controlling it.

Sorain focued chakra into his feet, and then down into the water. Instantly a small wave of water formed behind him. Sorain picked a point about a mile away and began to run as fast as he could, with every step he took his body rose some off the ground untill he was nolonger even touching the gorund. Swining his legs left and right as if he were skating Sorain managed to rift on the water all the way to the end then landed with a thud on both feet as he reached the waters end.

Sorain stopped and rode the water back to the middle of the forrest and got ready to try again. Forming the hand signs Sorain repeated this process, This time he managed to get about waist deep in water. Using chakra to keep him on top of the water Sorain practiced the wave riding once more. It was actually quite thrilling to be moving so fast and swift. He was even cocky enough to raise the wave really high then leap off of it, only to land on another wave and so on. He then curved his body, making the water turn with him into a circle. Sorain kept the circle going untill it picked up speed so much that the water in the center of the circle began to get picked up in the whirlpool that he had created. With a backflip Sorain landed down in the middle of the circle and watched the water rotate around him. he then ran at fulll speed diving into the wall of chakra and allowing himself to be thrown into full rotation only to get blasted out high into the air and then land safely on other save. Slowing down Sorain allowed his feet to touch the ground and for the water to desovle away into mist, making the area very hard to see in. Sorain did not like this, he did not want to train in the thick mist, although he could see through it with his eyes, it just made everything more difficult then it had to be. Sorain sat down and pulled out a book and began writting, waiting, and thinking.

After the mist clearned up Sorain continued to practice by trying to flood as much of the area as he could then riding the waves. Once he was sure that he had it down he began to test himself. Sorain took out four senbon and threw them at very high places on four diffrent places. His goal was to ride the wave and pullhimself high enough so that he could grab the Senbon out and still keep his balance. Sorain formed hand signs and yelled"Water Seal - Aquatic Shockwave" Then leaned forward, the water pressed out so hard that it pushed him off the ground. Then with a flip in mid air Sorain landed on top of the water, with a smirk he crouched his legs and pushed the wave forward and higher. He could tell he was going really fast by how much ground he was clearing and how hard the air was hitting his face. He was now comming up on the first Senbon. He figured that the best way would be to just raise the wave high enough then grab it when he made a pass. Sorain cliched and crouched harder and made the wave rise greatly, almost too much. He had to lean down to grab it but he did, then with a quick drop Sorain dipped the entire wave down like a slide and then curved it back up.


He was comming up on the seccond senbon. this time he wanted to get alittle creative, he got within range and then leapt forward off of the wave, grabing the senbon with his left hand then landing back on the still moving wave. He was comming up to a turn, he had made sure to place the senbon in more challanging location as to really give himself a challange. Sorain leaned his body far to the left and back, bringing his legs up and with it the wave went up and curved left, the then leaned back forward and to the right to balance himself. Sorain tilted back and brought his legs up again, making the wave go directly up. Sorain lept off of the wave again, this time the wave died down and turned to just deep water. Sorain landed on the tree and ran up it, grabbing the senbon and then flipping down, right before he hit the water it moved and raised to meet his feet, then with a quick thrust he shot back forward on the wave going at really high speeds.

Sorain reached the last senbon and once he got the botton of the tree he stopped and let the wave die down, he had expected this. He wanted to check how long it would take him to go from speed to slow to stopping. He was pleased to find out that he could stop almost on the dime if he wanted to. Sorain looked up at the senbon. His body burst into mist and reappered in the air grabbing the senbon and then reforming on the water. Holding out his arm the mark he made on it glowed and summoned the scroll to him. He was pretty sure that he had mastered this jutsu but he wanted to make sure that he was doing everything right and was getting the full use out of it. The scroll said that in order to master this jutsu completly he must be able to ride the waves while spreying the water at the same time. So that in a dangerous situation he would not have to wait for the water to fill before he was able to start riding. Sorain put the scroll down and cancled the jutsu. The water began to disperse and turned to mist once again making the area a misty and thick fogged area. Sorain took this chance to take a small break. He pulled back out his book, It was a picture of a human male sketched on it from head to toe with side notes poting to many of the joints. Sorain frowned into a thinking posture and began to wright and add notes to the book. From time to time he would look at his own body and then back at the picture, take his pulse, and other things then go back to writing. After about half an hour sorain lifted his shirt and traced a line from his neck down to his belly with the pencil. He then took out a needle and injected it directly into his chest on the left. He flinched from the pain and then shook his body so that the potion could spread faster. He then poked at his skin to check and see if the effect had done what it should, it was still in its testing phases.

Sorain breathed in deeply and then out slowly. After a few moments he was ready to begin. Sorain stood motionless and then visualized what he was going to do mentally. He would blast the water straight down, which would send him into the air, then would then make the wave grow untill it reached his feet and then he would ride out for about a mile while still expelling the water, his goal was to have the area flooded by the time he reached the mile point. Sorain formed hand signs then leaned his body forward,"Water Seal - Aquatic Shockwave" He yelled, from his mouth. It was like a firefighters whose the way it shot out so fast and hard, as soon as it conected with the ground it thrust Sorain high into the air. This time using his arms to help controll the waves Sorain brought one up into the air meeting it with his feet and then leaned forward speeding off very fast and swiftly. Sorain frowned and clinched his teeth as he began to pick up more and more speed and it started to get harder and harder to control. He had only gone maybe half a mile before the entire forrest area was completly flooded. He turned off the fire hose that was his throught and focused on reaching his maximum speed. He wanted to see just how fast he could go and also judge how long it took him to stop on max speed. It would be some info that he would need if were going to use this in combat. Sorain leaned his body back and forward to keep balance. It was actually very fun riding on the waves like this, it had the feeling of floating. Sorain reached the end of the forest and swung his legs up making the wave hault. He then turned his body and spun the wave down,then to the ground. He then cancled the jutsu and returned back to the middle of the forrest. He was almost one hundred percent sure that he had mastered the jutsu.

Sorain layed down flat on the ground. He looked up at the sky and breathed. The water was still about five inches deep so he was still about ankeel high off the ground. He floated around on his back for a long time before he was ready to stop. He pulled out the scroll and began to check off all the steps that he had mastered. He was done with all of them, he then exed out the picture that represented the jutsu. He took the moment to look through the book and see what else he wanted to learn. There was a good number of water jutsu. For the first time Sorain realized the must have an affinity for water, mostly because he was always so much better at water jutsu than at anything else.

Sorain turned and looked through his eyes. He was about a good twelve miles away from the village. He thought about using the mist instantaneous body skill but thought that maybe it would be better to use this jutsu so that he could get in one more solid training for it before the day was out. He would then head to his lake and practice something else, something alittle easier but still worth it. Sorain preformed the jutsu and started the wave ride. He was getting better at it, so much so that he no longer needed to rely on the waves motions to accept him forward. He could now move his legs forward and back, as if he were roller skatteing on ice, but not like ice skating. Even sorain did not understand this anology but he just accepted it. Sorain was now moving his legs really fast, sending him into a vary rapid and high moving pace. Up ahead he saw the village walls. He smirked abit and got ready to jump the wall. As soon as he got close enough Sorain jumped off of the wave and cancled the jutsu, while in mid air Sorain flipped forward and landed on a tree. When his body touched it he burst into water and mist and reformed on a roof. From there he decided that he would run the rest of the way, it would be good exercise.
