I don't have that much of a life either. I am trying to get a better one than work and home. lol Right now I am trying to meet new friends and hang out some. This one girl at the store I work at actually came up and was talking to me the other day. We both need to take some time out and go and hang since it seems like we have some of the same interests. Besides...I need to take out another friend of mine since she's been having a rough time with her grandmother being sick lately. sad

Yessss. I just made the cutoff.
I'm 20. I haven't been here for a while, though. I had a life at one point, but now that that's over, I'll probably be back more often. =)

Life? What's that? I'm 24 and I still don't have one. Anyone got one for sale?

I offer to let anybody who wants to move to Alabama and become my slave.

...However, I can't offer you a place to live.

...And it's not a sex slave, because I know some of you probably thought that.

Just the normal kind.

Am I not generous? biggrin

Alabama+Slavery=Not even to save the planet from an alien attack led by Tom Cruise and the other Scientologist . Pretty sure some of my ancestors actually ran away from a situation similar to that but at least they had a place stay, i mean really not even room in your closet, bad slave owner.

gonk OH MY GOD, I JUST REALIZED WHAT I SAID.

Like, it totally didn't click that Alabama was a slave state sweatdrop I'm not stupid, I know it happened... but it's just I live in Alabama so I stated people would have to come here... and I was joking about the slave bit.

My bad.

And yeah, I'm too poor to offer a place to live for anybody. I'm pretty sure my mom wouldn't be cool with me having a live-in slave. And I'm going to be moving to Missouri in less than a year.

Haha, its cool. I figure you weren't thinking that so i had to joke with you. Missouri, intriguing but why? I would go to Hawaii or Arizona personally. which reminds me, im going to Korea to teach English, as soon as i get my damn visa. Damn Korean bureaucracy.

My boyfriend is from St. Louis, I'm from Birmingham, AL. We met on Gaia four years ago this October, we've dated almost as long.

When he decided to go to college in Missouri instead of moving here it delayed us being together, I was trying to handle it, still am, but it's just getting too hard (with various things going on around us).

I started cosmetology school so I could get a good job when I move up there, so we wouldn't have to struggle so much, and I wouldn't be miserable at a job like Macy's forever, and because I want to start a family almost immediately.... like, I would literally only consider waiting to get situated in whatever job I get, and maybe so that I won't have the baby before he finishes school, which he'll only have about a year left by the time I get up there.

I actually less than a week ago was at the point of quitting school if I had to and moving up there, or trying to finish my school at a partner school up there (I go to a Paul Mitchell partner school, they have one located in St. Louis). Now I've calmed myself down enough to convince myself to finish out the 10 months of school here in Alabama, but I'm going to waste some of the money I have saved for the move on a visit this next month because otherwise we'd have to go over a year without seeing one another, and I can't take that. I'd rather just have less money when I move up there.

I love Alabama, so otherwise I wouldn't leave. But I love Missouri, too... a lot. My grandpa was from St. Louis, which is another reason I'm attached to it. But it's very likely my boyfriend and I will end up in California or Florida for his job (he's majoring in digital animation). And if I have my way, we'll take a family trip to Japan and England at some point.

My dad was stationed in Hawaii, my mom said that he didn't care for it because there weren't any seasons. I feel I'd be the same way. I love the seasons. One reason I'm pumped about Missouri is I'll get to see real snow! I love snow, I'm like a big kid, haha.

On a side note from that photo: the more I look at photos of my hair at my friend's wedding, the more I hate the up-do the lady gave me. And she puffed up my bangs, which didn't hold, so then they flopped in my face all night. The rest wasn't as bad, but the more I look at it the more unhappy I am with how it looked.

True the season would be an issue. I love the rain though, so as long as its rains occasionally i would be happy, i can take or leave snow.
i have been to japan. Its nice. If you like temples, i would try Kyoto, if you like parks and gardens, Nara had some nice ones, and if you want to see Americatown go to Osaka and see the Statue of Liberty. Tokyo is just too big and crowded for family visit, might be good for couple visit though, though if you like electronics they have a popular cheap but new high tech electronic area but i forget the name.

Edit: Nara is also home to deer that roam the town and a very large Buddha Statue. i think its would be great family visit if only for a few days.

It's finally not raining today, that makes me so happy crying But my car holds moisture and so it's fogging up bad just from me sitting in it.

My boyfriend went there before with his school, when I wanted to go I wasn't allowed because I was a freshman... then the teacher quit and so the trips to Japan stopped. I was sad crying
