Luna looked down at her feet in a moment with guilt for destroying the cubone's bone. She didn't really mean to break the cubone's weapon...well, actually, she did...but it was for strategy! This was the reason why pokemon battles were so dangerous for pokemon sometimes. She couldn't regret something that had been done already, she had to continue her attack. "One more energyball!"

Nine jumped off the tower she was standing on, but was unfortunate enough to get her back right paw struck by the piece of bone. She was just a few seconds too slow. "Ni..." The ninetales said to herself, cursing her own mistake. She had to make up for it. Nine faced Jaidev, opening her mouth to let out another energyball that was much larger than her previous ones.

Pippeh gave a sigh of relief as she saw the attack work. Even with a broken bone it could still be useful! "Alright Jaidev! Let's try something new!" she called out as she thought over carefully the moves she wanted to do. "Double Kick!"

Jaidev growled once before leaping at the ninetails with her feet kicked out in front of her. Perhaps maybe this would be a lucky hit.

Luna grinned, seeing that the cubone was coming into close contact again. Now it was time to finish the battle with a move in Nine's territory. No more grass moves anymore, Nine would get to enjoy her fire moves. "Nine, FLARE BLITZ!"

As soon as the command was given, flames ignited on Nine's legs and soon her whole body. But, while she was busy powering up, Jaideve managed to kick Nine in the chest, causing the ninetales to be pushed back and almost knocked over. Luckily, Nine managed to hold on and finish the last bit of preparation for her attack. The ninetales curled into a fiery ball and was rolled straight towards Jaidev, not allowing the cubone any rest after his double kick attack.

Pippeh cringed as her cubone was blasted with fire and gave a worried gasp when she saw her precious cubone fall to the ground. Jaidev gave one last growl before the pokeball reclaimed her. "You did well Jaidev." the trainer said to the ball as she held it carefully.

"Great battle!" she called out to her fellow trainer as she gave Luna a wave. "Perhaps the next time we meet the results will be different."

The trainer gave a sigh of relief as she saw Jaidev finally fall. They had won, barely. "Good job Nine." Luna complimented before pulling out her ninetale's pokeball and returning the pokemon inside the device.

"I'll look forward to our next battle then!" Luna said to Pippeh as she dashed out of the stadium, returning the trainer's wave. She then turned and focused on getting to the pokemon center, Luna had to get Nine all rested before the day was over. The ninetales would be pissed if she didn't make it back to her garden before nightfall to water the plants.
