The incomplete froze, frizzing as she looked over her shoulder at him, "Ummm... yeah we're lost..." she muttered, walking over to the little girl, she picked her up, swinging her onto her shoulders. "Cloe, you sure you dont know where that damned compass is?"
The girl nodded, now named as Cloe, 'Sorry Shui, no idea"

"Shuichi" the silver haired woman said, nodding, "The kid is Cloe."
Cloe waved lightly from her shoulders, 'Hi..."
"Dont worry, she'll get more talkative over time." Shui said with a grin

"No problem." Cross reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the candy bars he'd picked up earlier. "Here." He threw the bar to the younger girl. Then he started walking again in the direction of the needle. "So, what's your story?" He asked over his shoulder after a few minutes.

Cloe caught the bar and giggled, opening the candy and munching.
"Oh lord, she'll be bouncing off the walls..." Shui muttered, "Anyway, my story? Nothing much, your average Incomplete..." she muttered, 'Met cloe about two years ago, her parents were killed in a fire, so I sorta adopted her. We've been together ever since.... She can kill a man twice her size by now... cant wait to see what she can do in her twenties."

"I try not to kill people." Cross looked at his sword and blushed a bit. "Well... TRY anyway." He whistled a bit then sighed.

In a tree directly above them, two lion-like ears twitched. The owner of said ears was sleeping on a relativly large limb and the noise the people were making was disturbing his 'cat nap'. He yawned and rolled with a stretch. a mistake, for he left the limb and started to plumet toward the people below. At the last minute he grabbed a branch, the sudden change flipped him upside down, face to face with the two girls. "Uh... meow?"

Shui jumped, flailing, and launched Cloe into the air. Shui landed in a jumble of limbs and skirts on the ground.
Cloe blinked and twisted in the air, bringing herself down with deft persision on the branch the cat person was clinging to, snapping it off, and landing them both on the ground, her on top in a low crouch

Looking down at the cat boy Cross frowned confusedly. "Ok, what the hell just happened?"

The Anillia's head buried itself into the soft ground when he hit, lion tail flicking annoyidly. "Could you get off me before I make you get off?" Came a muffled voice from the ground.

"Cloe, put your knives away...' Shui muttered.
The girl blinked, and sheathed a pair of knives that had appeared out of her sleeves only moments ago, "Okay, sister.' she muttered and reached out to be picked up.
Shui smiled, adn picked her up, and settled her on her shoulders again

The Anillia then began trying to pull his head out of the ground. After a minute he finally succeeded, and began shaking dirt out of his mane of dirty blond hair. "That was more than alittle uncalled for, don't you think?" He asked, his ears flicking away the small amount of dirt that accumulated in them. "I was just as surprized as you two were." His tail was still flicking at the same pace.
