And so far not many people at my freebies thread is taking onto the idea of coming, but most of them went poof.
I'll poke around the art freebies area, and see if any one in general would be willing to go.

The party sounds like a fun idea. I can see if i can help get some people to come if guys want. i'd ask some of people from my guild to come if you want though the problem of that is theres only one other active member from that guild. well i will help if i can an be there unless i'm working.

Well the party is going to be on July 26th, the day the guild was made, but we don't need to send out any invites yet, we aren't even close to that point. If you find people who are willing to help and are intrested in it, then refer them to the guild so they can find out all the times and all that stuffs. However, as for now we don't need to invite guilds and all that, we'll start that process when the offical invitations are made up and those won't be released until roughly a week before the party. We have a little less than a month, so don't worry too much about inviteing just yet, but thank you for the support. 3nodding

Thats another bone I have to pick with you guys.
I've known you folks (edited it so it wasn't a bad word (Praise me!)) for years now. You don't need to speak formally to me like that. I understand speaking to Magus like that, but me..? I think I might be insulted. You treat me as if we are enemies rather than allies.

gonk That wasn't meant to be an insult to you, I was just trying to reply to both you and Magus in one quick post. Sorry if it came out like I was being extremely formal but I was just trying to explain the situation in the easiest way possible for both people.

Piiiish. I am not as emotasical as I used to be. Things like this don't bother me any more.
Now.
Another way, is to not act so formally around people. They are normal human beings just like you are (Sabes is exempted from this), so treat them as you would a friend. I understand, that when addressing a whole crowd, you might have to be a bit formal, but really, just relax.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. As of now, I'm kinda sleepy so formal just seems the safest thing, and that's mostly because it's on a topic that I'm serious about. Sorry if anyone in general was offened by my politness, but I just want things to go as smothly as possible so this party can be a blast for everyone. whee

Now, I was thinking I could personally do doodles as a prize thingie. Like, if we get to xx amount of pages/posts, or something. Whether its for the party or for the guild in general.

And you complained about him being formal, said you didn't like it,
so he apologized for doing something you didn't like.
Any normal human being would do the same thing. Honestly.
Let him be as he is...he's not harming you or being rude...
so I think nitpicking his every post...just gets to be a lot of work,
and frustrating for the both of you. If I were in his position,
it'd feel to me like being who I am just isn't good enough.
Anyway...I'll see what I can do to help out with this part thing.
I know some amazingly good banner makers and graphic designers...
and I'm sure I could get some things done(VERY high quality stuff) for free.
Plus, I know a lot of people...and they know a lot of people...
but all the details need to be panned out first, because
I know if I bring the party up to them, they'll want to know
when, where, who, why, what...every detail imaginable.
Also, will there be games and contests and prizes?
Just chatting at a party is never fun for too long...
and it doesn't attract a huge amount of people.
You have to have entertainment. Things to do.
And Prizes make it just that much better. You make me feel all s c r i b b l y inside.
I L o v e You without reason and that is reason enough.
L o v e is the only game never postponed due to darkness.
Missing you is the kind of hurt my h e a r t is t h a n k f u l to feel.

I talk formally in my guild when I make an announcement to the whole guild. When I'm replying to ordinary posts however I just talk like myself.

Alrighty then! It seems my late night discussion with neduls has kinda gotten us off topic. Thank you all for your comments on the matter, but it's of no grave importance to the subject at hand, so it's best that we back to planning.
Neduls and Beauty, if you two know artists that are willing to do free art or even art at reduced price for durring the party, that would be great. The art would be mostly for just random party guests, Blade is working on art for the guild itself and more likely than not I'll be making the art for the invitations and party banners. As for other things besides chatting, we do have games and prizes planed, most of which is on the second post.

I have figured out a way to play the famous party game, "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" on Gaia.
What you need:An image of the silhouette of a donkey with a grid on it. Which I can get ahold of.
How you play: Number the squares IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, and each person uses the random number generator to chose where they "pin the tail". And if the number of the square which has the back side of the donkey inside it, where the tail would go, has successfully "pinned the tail of the donkey" and would receive a small prize.
I say small prize, because it's a pretty simple game, it's also a game of no skill...not to mention, since it could possibly end up being a quick game, you could have several runs of the game.

Would you be willing to host that game, because we are going to need people to host games besides just the guild so more people can see that that's an option.
Otherwise I would have to talk it over with the rest of the mods, and we might be able to make it an official game if you, or anyone else that may be willing to help, don't think you'll be able to do it.
