Kaori got a smoothie before making her way back on the bus to bring her to the university. This was her daily routine for a time. She would try to get an hours worth of free time before going back. Being used did have its limits, even if she didnt mind. As she took her seat, another one of the girls came by and sat next to her.
Her name was Emily. She was what you called little miss perfect, but she wasnt, Kaori noticed how she acted differently from other people than the ones she knows. Overall, she was just a total snob. So the rest of the bus trip went along with her and Emily talking. Once the bus stopped at the University Kaori stepped out sighing. Another calculus assignment to work on.
"but hey, this time i'm getting paid," she smiled geniunely. Those were rare to come by, very different from her fake one if you know her too well.
Kaori adjusted her backback before entering the University building, she took one last sip at her smoothie before throwing it out in the cafeteria trash. She spotted her group of friends before sitting down with them, beginning to laugh among their talk.

Kikyoku looked around. It was bad enough that she was fresh out of colledge, but she had no job, not a lot of money, and now she was getting involved in another murder case she had nothing to do with. She sighed. Things'll get better. Heck, if I'm lucky, I'll solve this case and they'll give me a reward of some kind, like a job or cash... or both. She smiled a little. And saw a university with all these people there. She saw a blonde talking to her friends, but saw nothing wrong with that. She was simply living her life the way it was expected. Something about her still made her uncomfortable anda little upset. Forget it. I don't even know her, so why get worked up?

Kaori looked up from the conversation. There was a girl here, but she doesnt look like a university person. The heck?
whats with all these weird things anyways? she thought to herself. very weird.
she went back to the conversation when something about Lily liking this one kid began.

She walked on past the university. She saw no sign that they'd need help in any way, but something troubled her. One of the girls in the group she had seen had looked at her. She looked a little freaked to see her there. Maybe I met that girl and made her upset? ... Nah. I guess she just didn't know why I was lookingat her friend. She went to a park and sat under a tree with a pen and note pad in hand. "Let's see here..." She started jotting down everything about all the recent murders that had happened, looking for some sort of link between them all.

Alex walked out of the room as the Biology Lecture had just finished. He moved through the university halls, and happened to see the 2 girls that were at the crime scene earlier this morning. No matter, they had no Idea of what killed that man that night.
As Alex made his way home that evening, he walked into a room with nothing but a mirror in the corner. Inside the mirror, a swirling pool of darkness began to form, with the beast in the center. "It's time to commit the murder." It old Alex. Alex placed his hand upon the mirror, and the blackness engulfed him, transforming him into a shadow which crawled out of the window, and onto the streets.

((wOw, is it evening already! YESH! fast forward school! lol))
Kaori moved down the streets. She had just recently gotten back from getting some groceries to stock up in their fridge. she was just going to go home suddenly, but then she came across a little girl that just happened to be lost. So she spent the next hour looking for her parents. Eventually, they found them looking for her in the park. They thanked Kaori and she started her way back home. she was walking down the streets not paying attention when she bumped into somebody. It was Peri, the blonde princess queen from the University.
"looks like somebody had fun at the bar." She said grinning.
Peri looked at her and scoffed. She was drunk, you can tell, and her make up was all smeared, probaly making out too much.
kioko noticed it all. It wasnt much to figure out.
"ugh, just make sure you get me that 2000 word essay to me by tomorrow 4th period. Got it?" she said as she pushed her away and continued on her way.
geez, snobby much? she thought to herself.

((Sorry, I just REALLY wanted to ge straight to the murder part. Keep the RP interesting, ya know sweatdrop ))
Alex patrolled the city streets and rooftops, appearing as nothing more then an omnius shadow. He continued to search the town until he found his target. The girl was walking down the street with a bunch of her friends. That was going to make things difficult. So, the beast decided to take the form of a small child which the girl was only able to see.

Kaori felt a sudden breeze blow by, it was odd, but she shook off the feeling, she had been stalled in getting home, and she was late. She quickened her pace towards home.

Kikyoku suddenly felt a shiver go down her spine and her eyes widened. "Oh no, not that feeling again. There isn't really going to be another death tonight, is there?" She slammed her note pad shut and ran out of the park. She still didn't really see much connectios to previous murders, but if she could just wittness one... This time the killer won't get off so easy.

The beast then lured the girl deep into the alleyway. In return, the girl knelt down to the figure, and placed her hand on his head. 'Hey there, little fella, you lost?" The beast, in return, looked up to her with white eyes with dark bags. "You're next." Was all the beast had to say before it reverted into a form that the girl would find terrifying to say the least.  The girl barely had any time to scream before the beast, now possessing Alex, shoved it's claws through the girl's chest, creating a large hole where her heart would be. Before the girl's life was completely gone, she wrote something in blood as it reverted back to alex as he ran off in the night upon the rooftops.

Kikyoku heard the scream and ran faster. She found the ally and almost got sick at the sight. Once again, she had just barely missed the attack, but she was able to witness the girl's last breath from where she'd found the ally. She did a quick cross over her heart and walked carefully up to the girl, tryig not to lose her lunch. She saw something written in blood and pulled out a camera, taking several pictures. I just barely missed it this time. Next time though, I will ctach this guy. "But I'm sorry that it had to be you. I guess me being jealous because of you earlier was all in vein." She pocketed the camera and walked off before pulling a cell phone out to report the crime.

Alex looked far from the roof of the nearby church as the police sires came wailing into the alleyway. The beast laughed in his head, satisfied with yet another kill. "I must admit, the removal of the heart was very artistic. Something you've always wanted to do?" He asked him. Alex just stared at the scene, not caring about what the beast asked him. " Just something i've wanted to do to a woman for a long time."

Kikyoku sat near the crime scene, out of sight from everyone passing. She listened in on all that they said and jotted down every word said. This should help me find the person responsible, but... what happened to the girl didn't look like the work of a human... She shook her head. I need to stop watching late night horror movies. They'll just put silly idea like that in my head. She stood up and walked over to a near by church and went in, laying down in one of the pews and going to sleep since her apartment was too far from where she was now and she was exhausted.

Kaori was walking when she heard that bloodcurling scream. She closed her eyes and tried not to think of it. Another death had been occured, she knew that for sure. Everytime a murder occured, Kaori did one thing in particular. she visited the cathedral. it was open anytime of day and she went in there to where she would light the candles and say a little prayer.
She lit 2 candles as always and said a little prayer.
"please help save them, the one who died and the one who caused it. help guide the murderer, and guide the one who died to heaven. may he or she rest in peace." she said with her hands clasped.
Kaori reached home and her roomate was watching the news with the recent death.
"hey, did you know another one happened?" She said aloud.
"yea, i heard her scream, mustve been painful to die like that." she said going into the kitched to put the groceries away.

"Beauty within the beast, eh?" He asked himself while he was walking down the street. "Why, out of anything else, would she write that?" He asked the beast in his mind. "no idea, maybe she thought you looked nice." Alex simply walked into the chuch, and made his way to the confessional to get some time alone with his thoughts. For some reason, the beast was never able to talk to him when he was in the church.
