Could we have a rule not to post pictures larger than 160x120 in RP threads? It's going to get very cumbersome to have to scroll through that many large images just to read what's going on. 160x120 is standard 'avatar' size and should suit most needs.

i think the picture should not stretch out the screen at least but not have to be so small

I think it depends on how the avatar will be used. If it's to the side like mine it's should be a big issue. But that's a good idea. What I'm worried about is if they don't know how fix it up or are to afraid to do it on their own. How do you suggest that be fixed?

Get a free account with Photobucket (most people have one already). They have great edit features and one is a standard resize to 160x120. Quick, easy, simple. Also, smaller pictures means faster load time for our friends with slower internet connections.

Okay another issue to think about is that this is a new guild and I can only do so much at one time and there isn't a lot of crew to help just yet.
Or lets put it like this.
If I was to do an election of shorts to pic people for crew do you think it's a good idea?

We of course would need some time. But I think that after a while I could have members who've been with the guild for so long can do it. Also there would be a need for a switch up every so often I'm thinking maybe four months. Until then I'll have people who I have RPed with in the past as crew.

Hey, I have a thought for the setting -
Since you said earlier the School was in another dimension entirely, what if it was a real school, but the magical influence pulsing from it makes it "Invisible", metaphorically speaking. The outside world may or may not know of the school's existence, but the energies radiating around the school and campus make it seem like any other private academy in the eyes of a mortal human being.
