She laughed softly as he shivered from her touch. In a way it made her feel rather powerful to get a reaction out of him, even a simple one. While she wasn't a control freak she did like to be in charge most of the time.
"Nothin' huh?" She questioned leaning her head back. "Personally I'd kill t'get off on nothin'." She said with a grin knowing very well that wasn't what he meant.
She had to consider what he said next. She herself had never really skydived. The thought of falling like that scared her a bit. She had blossomed into a brilliant flyer but she still had a lot to learn. Skydiving required a skill she didn't really have yet. Sure she could dive but only 100 feet at the most, one would have to go higher to get a good free fall. "That would prob'ly be a pretty good rush..." She said with a nod. To be so close to death would shoot adrenaline through someone like a wildfire.
"An' if you're life is missin excitement then go do somethin' exciting. It's as simple as that." She concluded with a shrug. There were tons of ways to get a rush even without wings.

He eyed her, ears pricked forwards whenever she spoke. To him it was like listening to the Goddess commanding her will...but even if she was a Goddess or a Genie or something and she could grant wishes, he didn't know what he'd want. Perhaps for the world to shine just a little more, for feathers to be just a tad more beautiful.
"Nah... Killing wouldn't fit you," he murmured with a quirk of his lip. "Maiming....perhaps. But you're hardly a Kalona."
So she'd never dove from the sky at thousands of feet... The look on her face told him that before she even opened her mouth. "Yeah." The closest he could get to skydiving would be leaping from a cliff... And he had. Small cliffs, anyway.
"Well...you're the queen of adrenaline junkies," he chuckled, looking her in the eye. "What should I do? What would spice up my life?"

She giggled and nudged him with a grin. "You know what I meant." She said shaking her head. So, she wasn't the only one to make little jokes from sayings, that was good.
"Hmm...queen am I?" She asked with a smile. With a toss of her mane she stood and puffed out her chest trying to look snobbish. "Well then by royal decree I say the perfect spice for your life would be..." She paused putting on a horribly fake thinking face having a hard time not bursting out with laughter.
After a few minutes she dropped the pose and tilted her head to the side. "And afternoon with me." She nodded firmly finding that to be the best. "You'll get you're rush one way or another with me. Whaddya say?" She asked with a wink and another flip of her long mane.
She didn't really have a flat out answer for him but adventure seemed to follow her. That made the best way to get an adrenaline rush to hang around Carmine and if nothing showed up they'd just have to create their own rush.

He offered a grin right back, trying to match her step for step, word for word. Tav admired the go-get-'em attitude the mare had as she hopped to her feet, waving that beautiful pink mane of hers.
If she was trying to look like a uppity princess with a stick shoved up her rump...it didn't work. Instead, she ended up resembling a slender stallion Elder with grass and dirt in her coat and a proud arch in her neck. He couldn't suppress a giggle as he rose to his feet as well.
"Well you've got mud on your perfect hooves, my queen," he murmured in what he hoped was a princely voice, picking up one hoof to scuff the ground.
She was probably right -- Carmine seemed to have more of a ornery streak than any Soquili he'd ever met. Enough to have her own bodyguard, anyway!
He gazed out at her through dark bangs. "I suppose I have nothing better to do..." he teased, nipping at one of her long flight feathers.

She blinked and looked down at her hooves. Sure enough, coated in mud and stray bits of grass. She let out a merry peal of laughter. "Well perhaps I like to romp with the lessers...every now and again." She nearly bit her tongue over that word. 'Lessers.' She didn't like it. It was something she really only heard kalona say and she felt like a creep saying it even as a joke.
Not wanting to bring down the mood she picked up the act again. "Oh no no no." She said clicking her tongue. "Ya say that like if some other filly popped up you'd go chasin after her sir. That just won't do." She grinned and caught one of his braids in her mouth. She gave it a soft tug pulling her wing free.
"Just remember Tav, when you're with me, I'm the best." She winked with a smile. She was halfway joking. she didn't really care if he ran off with some other girl, that was just her cue to go find another beau. She didn't, however, want to be talked about like she was a second thought. While it seemed like she had a large ego she really didn't and it needed stroking from time to time.

"Lessers?" He wasn't a sheltered colt -- okay, maybe he was... -- but he'd never heard of this term before. Perhaps these 'Lessers' were Soquili who were lowest in the food chain.
He didn't worry about it, however, as she perked right back up into her happy Carmine self. A sparkle glittered in amethyst eyes at her assumption that he'd go chasing after another tail if the chance came.
He turned his head with a shy grin as she captured a braid. "Carmine," he began with a flick of an ear, all the teasing gone from his tone. "That's not how I roll. If I find a girl I like, I stay with her unless it's settled between the both of us to split. And even then..." He nudged her face, blowing her mane from her face. "I'd not forget you. This hour we've spent together, you're already the best."

She shook her head not wanting to talk about it. "Don't worry bout it." She hoped that would be the end of that.
She gave him an odd look. It seemed like a strange way to go about things, not entirely unpleasant, but weird. All things considered though she had learned most everything from her father and he was a bit of a man whore as far as women were concerned. She didn't know what to say to this so just opted to smile accepting it as flattery.
"Well then in that case let's go somewhere!" She said trotting off putting those words in the back of her mind to consider them later. She wanted to know just how someone could stay with just one person.
She looked from side to side trying to decide just what could be done out here. There were adventures everywhere, you just had to look hard enough.

Well it looked like these 'lessers' weren't a good topic. And he respected that. He'd ask Merl later on. She'd know.
He smiled at her queer look. She seemed almost...surprised that he wasn't ready to bound off with the next pretty filly possible. Perhaps someone had hurt her in the past; perhaps that stallion had left her without warning and without caring.
Even Tavarii, sometimes known to be dimmer than a basement without a light, knew you didn't do that. Not to a girl. Hell, not to anyone.
He didn't have a chance to agree before she took off. With a squeal, he barreled after her, nipping her flank gently as he passed. "Any ideas, or are you the kinda girl that excitement gravitates towards?"

She jumped slightly at the little bite, she didn't mind it but she hadn't been expecting. With good humor she stretched out a wing and gently thwaped his side. "Well it either makes it's way t'me or I make my own..." She tilted her head upward to look at the sky as though she were half expecting something to come falling out of it. When nothing did she walked on. "Right now though...I got nothin."
She gave him an almost apologetic smile before continuing to search the area. There was a lot to do for fun, races, flying, stealing from people, crossing rivers across wobbly logs, or just other horses. Right now she was at a loss for what to do.
There weren't others around to startle and put in a panic which was always a riot. She stopped moving a mischievous grin on her face. "Ya ever been birdy bowlin?" She asked remembering the pheasants. There was bound to be a large flock of birds around here somewhere and sending them flying in a panic into the air was a blast.

"You thwapped me!" he laughed, happily bumping into her. This was excitement enough. He couldn't wait to feel the thrill she was planning on.
"Birdy...bowling?" His brow raised and he remembered his beautiful pheasants... "Oh...not the pheasants! Carmine..." Though...it would be amusing.

"Yeah, and you nipped me." She answered bumping him back her spirits back to their starting point. She grinned as he asked thinking at first that he didn't know what she was talking about. Her smile only got bigger when she realized he had a pretty good idea of what was going on.
"Oh yeah, the pheasants...unless there are other birds 'round here." She bowed her head and started looking about in the grass for signs of the birds. "An don't worry bout the birds, they live, they just get a little rush of they're own...a little livin never hurt no one."
Her eyes lit up as she spotted the grass rustling in the distance. She assumed it was a small flock of birds. "You take the first go."

He grinned. That was true. He had nipped her.
No... The pheasants were preeeeetty much the only birds that weren't ducks. He didn't really want to hurt them...but if she insisted they'd live...
"Do I just...rush them?" he asked, ears keen on the rustle they both'd heard.

She nodded pleased to hear that he was actually planning on doing it. She knew a few that would just tell her she was cruel and walk off even thought there was nothing mean about it. "Yep, you charge em and if they don't seem t'be movin just let out a yell t'scare em into action."
She gave him a big grin then nodded her head in the direction of the bushes. "Have at em!" She said failing to mention that sometimes the birds flew at you instead of away depending on how the winds were. Well, if they did that it was sure to be quite a show for her and an interesting thrill for him.

That seemed easy enough...though he wasn't sure where the massive rush was in it. He supposed he'd find out!
So with a lopsided grin, the violet stallion spun in a half-rear and lunged into a gallop, head down like a bull.
The pheasants watched with wide eyes from their quiet spot several yards away, somewhere behind the two horses.
In mid-run, the only thing Tavarii noticed was that the birds, infact, were not scattering. And he was rapidly approaching. So he let out a yell -- only to squeal in surprise at the yellowed teeth glaring up at him.
"Gah!" The stallion felt as if he froze in middair, lunging to the side to avoid the badger's wrath. "Abort, abort!"

Carmine watched happily as he charged but something wasn't right. The birds normally would have taken off by now. She cocked her head to the side a bit confused until he let out a squeaky noise she really only ever heard foals make. Something really wasn't right.
She started running over just as he dove to the side but she still couldn't tell what was going on. As she got closer she could see that what was hiding in the grass clearly was not a bird. An expression that clearly read 'oh s**t' spread across her face.
"I second that!" She called turning about to get away from the enraged creature. She ran from very few things in this world but she was not foolish enough to mess with an pissed badger, that was asking for trouble.
After a little she stopped running and started laughing. That was a rush if she had ever felt one even if it wasn't what they were trying to do.
