"What? I'm not saying you're no good. I'm just saying Badeon can track him faster. First off because he knows this area better then any. And secondly, because there is no fast creature on this planet then him." Shadow sais with a smile.

Maura was resting at the foot of a tree. Her mind racing through all kinds of thoughts. It was a nice day, the sun shining on her cheeks, and the breeze playing with her hair. She reached for her backpack and took out her journal and a pen. In a second ideas filled her mind as she began to write. Beautiful words spilled on to the paper one after another.

After a while of writing Maura decided to take a break, she stoop up and placed her thing in her back pack. Then started walking out of the woods.

Kira wandered into the forest, staring around slowly. It was her first time in here and Kurri shifted nervously in her arms. She smiled and comforted him as she continued deeper in. Coming to a broad tree she jumped into the branches and sat against the trunk, staring alertly around with twitching ears.

Shadow was walking through a clearing when he heard a rustle in the trees. "Badeon come out, you know I can sence you from a mile away." he said in a low voice.
As he spoke, a large wolf lept from the tree and landed next to him smiling as only a wolf could.Damnit. Oh well, it was worth a try. Oh, I saaw that girl Kira while I was in the tree. She's about fifty feet over there. Badeon told Shadow as he turned to head off to hunt.
"Thank you friend. I'll talk to you later then." he said a the wolf sped off.
"Kira?" he called out from the clearing to see if she was really there or if Badeon had just said it to mess with his head.

Kira's ears twitched again, this time catching a voice and she stared out. "Shadow?" She called in reply as she slipped from the tree. She held the kitten securely as she walked towards where she thought the voice was coming from.
((My computer's not letting me post again so that's why it took forever to reply... I had to wait it out. T.T I like your new banner though! ^.^))

Shadow heard the soft voice and smiled softly to himself. "Kira, it's me. You can come out. Nothing in these woods will harm you." he said reassuringly as he walked up to the tree that he had heard Kira's voice come from.

Kira's face lit up as she slipped down and found Shadow. Pulling him into a soft hug she smiled. "Hello, how have you been?" She grins, planting a soft kiss on his cheek. The kitten purrs happily upon finding him as well.

Shadow smiled softly as he hugged Kira gently back. "I've been ok. How are you? And what brings you to the woods?" he asked in a soft voice as he smiled at Kurri.

After running for what seemed hours Maura reached the woods. She put her hands on her knees and cought her breath. The rushing of thoughts had ceased but left behing a huge headache. She took Sheomaru out of her bag and placed him on her lap. She noticed the scared look on his face and said softly "its ok little guy". Sheomaru snuggled up and closed his eyes. Maura wrapped her hands around the sparkling leaf pendant hanging from her silver necklace. She focused with all her might to bring tranquility to her mind.

Kira smiled and looked at him, then turned to gaze around the woods. "Hmm.. I'm not sure. I guess I just grew tired of the open courtyard." She laughed. "After all, I did grow up mostly wandering around the woods!" She grinned as her tail swished behind her.
((Hehe, thanks. ^^' Now I have a 5-7 page essay... *gets started* Oh, visit my shop please and tell me if the prices are too high... ^^'))

Shadow smiled softly and took Kira's hand. "I understand. I too am used o the woods. This is where I spend most of my time, seeing as I lived my entire life in the woods up until a few months ago." he said with a smile as he sat down on a log and motioned for her to sit next to him.
"This is my home. Badeon is out hunting or something. He told me that he had seen you. He too stays here with me." he said softly as he listened to a bird chirping over head.

"I also met Kurri in the woods." Kira nodded as she cuddled the kitten. She then followed Shadow slowly, perching on the log beside him. She cocked her head and looked at him. "Badeon?" She echoed curiously, staring off into the woods.
