She made sure to stifle the giggle that rose in her throat as he asked if she was ready and started counting.
She bounded this way and that, her eyes gleaming as she observed everrything, judging the spots for their hiding potential.
Finally..Her golden orbs caught sight of a large bush..A berry bush, from the looks of it.
She darted towards it, and gracefully slipped right inside its branches, without making too much noise or moving the branches much.
She giggled slightly.
She loved this game.

"Seventeen...eighteen...nineteen...twenty."
He turned away from the tree and looked around. He couldn't see any trace of Dove, or where she might have gone. It seemed that this would be a little tougher than she let on.
He moved around, looking from side to side to see if he could find any sign of where she might be hiding. He had never played this game before, and wasn't really sure where one would usually hide. He peeked behind trees and around bushes, but he couldn't see her.

Not wanting the young colt toget frustrated on his first attempt at Hide and Seek,Dove decided to try and make it a bit easier for him.
As he stepped closer to her bush, she stuck her ivory tail that was tipped with deep brown out of the bush, and gave it a wiggle.
Surely he'd see that.
She kepther eyes on him as she wagged her tail, and she smiled as he came closer to her.
Giggling, she tried to stay quiet.

Shen saw the little filly's tail poke out of the bush and smiled. He made his way over to the bush that Dove seemed to be hiding in and stuck his nose inside.
"I found you. But I think you made it easy for me."
He smiled a bit, looking down at the filly.

The filly squealed and reeled backwards, smiling up at him with a giggle.
"You found me!"
Then she narrowed her little eyebrows playfully and smiled.
"I would never make things easy."
She said, a little too jokingly to be truthful.
"But its your turn to hide!"

Shen smiled at Dove, knowing that she had indeed revealed her hiding place to him so that he could find her. He didn't feel bad about this. He actually thought it was a rather nice gesture, especially since he had never played the game before.
"Ok, and no peeking."
He smiled and waited for her to begin counting so that he could go and find his own hiding place.

She smiled, and closed her eyes super tight as she rested her forhead on the bark of the tree,as if letting herself know she couldnt move her head to look.
"Okay!"
She started counting, her numbers coming happy and bubbly.
"One. Two.Three..."
She finished her counting, making sure not to miss a number..
"Ready or not! Here I come!"
SHe beamed, turning around and scanning the area.

Shen looked around for a good spot as soon as she pressed her forehead against the tree. He spotted one soon enough. There was a tree only a short way into the forest that had been hollowed out near the bottom, and provided an opening large enough for him to fit through. He smiled, looking over his shoulder at Dove before ducking his head and entering the tree.
It was muggy and mossy in there, and there were bugs crawling on the walls, but he didn't mind that much. As he heard he call that she was about to start looking, he tried to slow his breathing and make sure he was as quiet as possible so she wouldn't be able to find him too easily.

She smiled, prancing about trying to find the colt.
This game was always challenging. Its what she loved about it.
"Im going to fiiind you."
She sang out.
She passed the tree in which he was hiding, and didnt even stop to think to look there.
But she stopped right outside it, lookingin all directions.
