She seemed nice enough, even though one of her Namir was plotting to kill her with Etah." She was sure that she had never seen Balder, believing that she would remember having encountered someone that looked like Jeireth before.

"That's alright. I'll just have to see if the human shows up again." Jeireth thought for a moment, wondering what they could discuss, when a previous point recurred to him. "So why was the namir plotting to kill her? Wonder what would happen if she was killed...he'd probably be rehomed like I was." He vaguely wondered how long it would be before the namrah of a dead owner were rehomed.

"She was...not the most pleasant of Namir." Saying that she was a Demonic was on the tip of Keida's tongue, but she would not let it slip out in fear of Jeireth taking it as an insult. "Chances are that you are correct, if the human were to die he would probably be rehomed. It is said that Namir need the love of a human to grow, and they can not recieve much love from a human who is dead."

Jeireth frowned a bit at this new information, then looked a bit thoughtful. It suddenly made sense, why time seemed to stand still for him while his brother ascended to Elderhood. As well as the lack of memory...not that much memory was needed. Nothing ever happened as far as he knew. "That makes sense, and it would explain why I didn't grow. Where did you hear that though? Is it common knowledge?"

Jeireth could feel Keida's eyes trying to get into his mind, a palpable curiosity. He supposed it would seem a bit unnerving to some namrah, but after so long of no social contact it was a bit nice to have someone who was interested in what he thought about.
He decided to share some of his thoughts with her partly as a reward for being curious. "It all makes more sense now...the reason behind Balder's growth while I was left behind...a reason for rehomings...I really didn't understand it before. Well I sort of did...I understood how it felt to be isolated from everyone. But I didn't know that there was a link between human love and growth. That's kinda neat...I wonder if it works the same way with humans."
(Did I say that Nalini heard it from someone or that she observed it on her own? I forget...one of my namrah figured it out on their own though)

"If that trully is the case, and Miss Nalini is right, you will be growing in no time I am sure Mister Jeireth. Your human seems to be one who cares for her Namrah quite a bit." She tilted her head and skimmed over what she knew of humans. "I do not think love is required for a human to grow. But love is needed for human to stable mentally."

Jeireth nodded, agreeing with what Keida was saying. It all made senes to him. "Yeah, Sara seems to be pretty nice. She never complained when I turned up the air conditioning to something bearable." He hoped that the fact that he wasn't around Sara anymore didn't prevent him from growing. Maybe it wasn't just human love, but just love in general. Maybe friendship with namrah would allow him to grow just as much as love from a human. "So humans who don't receive love as they grow up wind up being insane or depressed?"
(Actually, a lack of detectable love from another human does inhibit the growth hormone in humans. 3nodding )

Keida pulled up what info she knew of humans without love. Scanning her memories that stretched back years and years. "Yes. Without human contact they would usually grow accustom to being alone. And if another person were to enter their space or invade their privacy, they could become very hostile and maybe even violent."

Keida wouldn't know that either, she just observed. She never actually talked with them xd ))

(It's pretty rare though. Most of them just wind up dying from a lack of will to live. 3nodding )
"I would imagine that they'd be unable to socialize well...they would probably be unable to speak any language, nor make up their own." He wondered why it was that he could speak English when a human who didn't associate with other humans couldn't speak. He attributed it to the fact that he didn't recall ever being a kit.

"That is correct, socializing in something that they are not well at. That is why many turn theirs backs on the human world and turn to Pokemon, forming bonds of friendship to gain the love that they never got from their own species." She paused. "Of course it is not the same, their is a communication gap between humans and Pokemon."
((She doesn't know about the suicidal one either xD
The only ones she really knows of are the ones she seen while flying, and the ones that came to her island. Plus in the Pokemon world I imagine most lonely humans would take solcae in some Pokemon they managed to capture xd ))

(It's not suicide though...they just die of unknown causes.)

"I have seen some creatures that lived with humans and were not Pokemon." She tried to think of how to describe them. "Some looked like Namir, but their ears are not as large, nor is the fur on their as thick. And they made counds like this." And Keida started doing something that was more common with small children, she tried to imitate a dog's bark.

Jeireth was surprised to hear Keida bark like a dog. He understood why she did it, but was surprised nevertheless. Not that he would ever show it. "I think that's called a dog. They're a common animal to live with humans, along with cats." He paused, delaying his other question to make sure she knew what a cat was.

"Are cats the other animal, the ones of small stature that are normally kept indoors?" Keida was beginning to feel a small twinge of regret that she never landed in areas where there was an overabundace of humans so that she could learn simple things like this.
