"Holy-!" Romsca ducked as he heard the whizz of the cannonball and the boom as it hit the ground. He got up shakily, the sound still ringing in his ears. "Who are they, and why're they firing at us??" "Because you flew in." a voice chirped in his ear. He felt a wing brush his ear and by looking out of the corner of his eye he could just make out the faerie who had led them to the gate. "They're pirates, and flying in makes you a Lost Namir, and being a Lost Namir makes you an enemy." She shook her head as if to say 'duh?' Romsca frowned. "Well I guess we have to hide. Unless....." He looked at the faerie. "We were covered in dust on the way here, and you said we flew....." The faerie smirked. "You're a fast one, aren't you?" She turned and flew off into the trees. "Hey, hold on!" Romsca shouted, and he jumped after her......and his feet didn't come down. "Whoa!" he yelped as he floated, his legs all splayed out like a water spider. "Treasure! Are you seeing this?!"

Treasure laughed, leaping into the air after Romsca and flying around him in a circle, "I'm seeing it very well." She somersaulted and almost missed dodging another canon ball, sticking her tongue out at the pirates and laughing so hard she thought she could have floated endlessly higher. "Come and get me, you scalleywags!" she called, grabbing Romsca by the paw and dragging him into the safety of the trees. "So, little fairy person, where do we go next?" she asked excitedly.

Romsca flailed clumsily in the air like a first time swimmer, looking mock-furiously at Treasure. "How'd you pick that up so quickly?" He felt the second cannonball whoosh past him and he couldn't resist turning his head and yelling, "Hey! Watch where you're shooting those; you nearly took my head off you......you.....pirates!" He lurched as Treasure grabbed his paw and once they reached the safety of the trees, he looked around expectantly for the faerie, but she was nowhere to be seen. "Guess she went on without us. That means....we get to explore!" He smiled happily. "Well, what do you think? Wanna go somewhere where we can explore in peace? Or shall we go back there and teach those pirates what happens when you shoot at innocent newly-recreuited Lost Namrah?"

"Hmmm..." Treasure pondered for a moment. She really wanted to explore every inch of the island, but messing with the pirates sounded fun, too. Blinking and rotating herself until she was floating upside down, she thought up another option, "Since we are newly-recruited Lost Namir, shouldn't we find out who our other fellow Lost Namir are?" It would also be fun to find out what the other Lost Namir would do to irk the pirates, and maybe if she and Romsca could teach them a thing or two about playing pirate. Especialy if Rum was involved... "Savvy Rum..." she murmurred, before she could think about what she said.

Romsca nodded. "Okay; that definitely sounds like a plan. Better to get an idea of the enemy first, yeah? But I wonder where we find the other Lost Namrah......or if there are any?" He grinned wide at Treasure's mumble. "Maybe they have some stolen rum we could share, especially since there's no one here to tell us not to."
((I'm having a thought 'ere, Barbossa; what are we going to do about playing Lost Namrah? XD))

(Barbossa? xd You could play three and I could play three... They could be like Namrah we already have only they have no recollection of Namiah or anything and are just like Lost Namrah...?)
"Aye!" she said, jumping up and ducking down again as another canon ball shot through the forest. "There have to be some, otherwise why would the pirates have reason to fire at us?" she said, looking around, "Maybe we should try looking at where they were in the book?"

((Raine is a treasure trove of worthless humerous movie quotes. XD))
Romsca ducked and winced at the next cannonfire. "If they don't watch it, they're going to run out of cannonballs." He pondered for a moment. "Well, in the book they had an underground house that was hidden beneath a tree; maybe we ought to look for a large white tree. Oh, and look for a stump or a big mushroom or something that they use as a chimney; I remember that part of the book; Captain Hook sat on it and burned his bottom." He laughed at the thought of a Hook namir running around with his pants on fire, and he let go of the tree and went soaring into the air. "Come on Treasure! The view's awesome! Let's find that tree!"

"I doubt they'd do that," Treasure said with a giggle. She laughed when he mentioned Hook burning his bottom on the chimney, picturing almost the same scenario he had. "I'm coming!" she called, launching herself into the air after him. The veiw was amazing, letting her soar as high as she wanted to look at the island. She could pick out most of the landmarks; Mermaid's Lagoon, the Indian Encampment, the tidepool where Hook had tried to drown Tigerlilly.

Romsca was pretty much looking at the same thing Treasure was, but hearing various other stories about Neverland, he found himself looking for the less recognizable landmarks: Morning Glory Falls, the Weretrees, Small Monday Island with it's Home Tree where all of Neverland's faeries lived, and the like. He probably would never have found Hangman's Tree if he hadn't been looking for other more obscure things. He let out a whoop when he saw it and dived toward it. When he got close to it, he tried to slow down, but his momentum was too great and he ended up with his head in one of the tree's enormous knotholes. He was about to yell for help, but he figured that Treasure already saw his undignified predicament, so he yelled down the hollow tree. "HELLOOOOOO! ANY LOST NAMRAH AROUND??"

(Gah, I've seen the movie more recently than I've read the book, the only scene I can remember from the book right now is the kite...)
Treasure snapped out of her daydreams when Romsca whooped, realizing with glee that she didn't have to daydream; she was here! She dove after him, aiming for another hole in the tree, only she had no intention of slowing down. Romsca's call rang in her ears as she slid head first through the opening, letting out her own call when his finished echoing through the tunnel, "AYE!!! HELLO!!!??? ANYBODY HOME, 'CAUSE I'M COMING DOWN!!!" As she finished yelling the tunnel dropped away and she found herself rolling through the spacious room to land sprawled on the floor in the middle of a bunch of surprised faces, some of which she recognized. "Oh, hello," she said, calling back to Romsca, "I FOUND THEM! CAN YOU COME DOWN, OR DO YOU NEED HELP GETTING OUT?"

((I'm actually being kind of a cheater-pants; my favorite cartoon is Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates; it had a lot of awesome but unofficial storylines. sweatdrop ))
Romsca yelled down the tree, causing the place to shake slightly. "I CAN GET OUT! WAIT A SECOND!" There was a loud crack, and bits of wood showered down onto a few heads. One grave-looking orange, gray and black Lost Namir reached up and brushed bits of bark off of his head. "Noisy chap, isn't he?" An orange girl, her pelt speckled with little purple bats, giggled into her paws. "He bellows like a troll! Hope he can fit down here!" A brown boy, so small he almost looked like a little blue coat thrown on the floor, dashed for the table in the center of the room and promptly hid under it.

Treasure giggled and waited for him to come down, looking at allt he Lost Namrah while she sat there, "So who are all of you?" A yellow and red striped Namir hid under her tail and peeked out at Treasure, her green eyes wide at the noisy entrance of the two. "I'm Litatha," she said. "Ryana Noell," giggled another small dark brown female, rawring playfully and pouncing herself onto Treasure's lap. "Luey," growled another, his black fur almost making him blend in with the shadows at the back of the group, only his flame-like ears and orange eyes letting Treasure know where he was.

The solemn boy gravely held out his paw to Treasure. "My name is Berlios. How do you do?" The bat-girl giggled and scrambled behind Treasure, then poked her head out beside Treasure's, yelling in her ear. "I'm Diddley!" blaugh Beneath the table, the small coat didn't move. Berlios gestured to it. "That's Peter C. We all forgot what the C stands for, so we just call him Peter." Suddenly there was a huge crash, and down came Romsca to land in a heap at the bottom of the tree's roots. "Oof! Heheh....did I miss anything?"

"Only introductions," Treasure laughed, helping him to get out of his heap before turning back to the Lost Namrah, "Well, my name's Treasure, and this is Romsca. It's very nice to meet you!" Litatha squeaked and hid even farther under her tail. "Don't mind her, she just doesn't like strange males," Ryana said, still clinging to Treasure's lap while she moved around to help Romsca. Luey just glared at them from the shadows, "How come you adults have dared come into our hideout?" Treasure started, opening her mouth to protest that she wasn't an adult when she realized with her size they wouldn't beleive her. Instead she looked to Romsca, hoping he could think of something to convince them.

Romsca scratched an ear. "That's a good question.....I thought we were supposed to become small when we came here. I wonder why we didn't......" He smiled and shrugged helplessly at Luey. "Well.....we're young at heart; doesn't that count?" "Perhaps," Berlios said, "After all, the pirates came here without becoming small. Or perhaps something happened that bent the unspoken rules of Neverland." He looked gravely at them. "It WOULD be easier for all if you were smaller, but how do we do that?" Diddley started to bounce up and down with excitement. "I know I know! I don't remember being anything but small, so why don't they forget being big! If they forget, maybe it'll be like they never WERE big!" Berlios looked thoughtful. "You know, that might be crazy enough to work." He looked at Romsca and Treasure. "Well, what do you think? Can you forget you were big?" Romsca poked his tongue out and licked his upper lip in thought. "I THINK I can.....what do you think, Treasure?"
