She could feel her eyes start to water slightly, Aapep's moved her. Kirjava bent her head down again to rub her head against his own. It was comforting to know that he didn't want to leave her, even if he did grow up. But, things could change later on. She knew she was getting older and it wouldn't be very long before her past started to catch up with her. Though, she didn't want to think of such thoughts when things could look brighter at the moment.
The thought of seeing Ravi again made her pause. She didn't know where to start, there were so many things she wanted to know, wanted to see...but most of all, she just wanted to see him. "If you are really up to it, Aapep, we can go and search for him. I don't know exactly where he is, but I do know that the ocean is a good distance away from us, it will be a bit of a journey." She just wanted to make Aapep aware that this wasn't just a couple day thing, this might take a good amount of time, but the rewards would definitely be worth it. "I just want you to be aware that it will take some time, the lands can stretch on forever."
She gave him a small smile, "I've always wanted to see the ocean though. It's supposed to be very beautiful, and the sunsets are something to brag about."

"I am." He replied, his voice unwavering. He wanted to see his brother but most of all he wanted to make his mother happy. All his short life, she'd been taking care of him, keeping him safe, catching him food. Now it was his turn to do something for her.
He'd accompany her to the end of the world if it meant seeing that smile on her face. She was all the family he had ever known and family was important. He knew that even more now that he'd spoken to Mawi Mai, heard her talking about her sister who was also her best friend.
"I'm ready for the journey mum. Besides, I think it'd be a good idea to see a bit of the world before settling. It'll be good for both of us."
And he purred. "Then we'll go and see it." He replied. "All I have to do is say goodbye to my friend and tell her I'll be back." He continued. "Just in case they start to worry."

Her son's words brought her comfort as Kirjava smiled softly. She reached forth to nudge him up, "Well, then, I think you go get a move on then. The sooner you go see your friends, the sooner we can see the world!" Not that she minded, either way she didn't want Aapep to worry about leaving his friends behind. Because if he had his friends on his mind, then the journey wouldn't be as rewarding to him as she wanted it to be.
Paws pushed forward, she stood up and yawn. With a slight shake of her body, she turned to look back at her son, "I'll go get us a meal while you're out. We can't travel on an empty stomach!" As she looked at her son, she swelled with pride. At least, she could catch them a decent meal before they leave so that their stomachs are full.

This was it. The journey of a lifetime awaited. He couldn't quite believe what was happening but knew he had to do it. He wanted to do it. Aapep was not the typical adventurous type. He didn't crave to see every corner of the world, nor do anything amazing.
But he did want to see his brother. He wanted to see his mother happy. And, along with those reasons there was also this yearning to see the sea!
So off they would go and Aepep could barely contain his excitement.
"Okay mum!" He chirped. "I'll meet you back here!" And with a smile he rubbed against her forelegs and sped off towards the Nchi'mahadhi
(( Since the owner of Aepep's friend is on holiday, do you want to just continue this storyline and I can backdate the farewell RP? ))
