Hmm apparently this girl could read his attacks through his mind. Syre didn't so much think as just move but apparently this girl could even see into his subconscious. Quite a pain. After his attack had missed the girl jumped back and threw a seed onto the ground where it quickly began to sprout. Hmm probably some earth power of hers. Syre probably didn't want that seed to grow into its full form so as they do say, n** it in the bud. Syre promptly walked over to where the sprout lay and shoved his sword trough it while watching his opponent. Once how ever was probably not good enough Syre proceeded to stab the ground a multitude of times severing roots and stem and all together utterly destroying the plant. All while watching his opponent. Now she was standing above the pool of water without touching anything, seeing as the ice had been destroyed. Maybe she was telepathic and telecanetic. Those two powers together were quite rare. How did she even come about being a physic elementalist anyhow. Not to mention a swordswoman. This girl was rather impressive.
Syre's smile had dissipated he was more focused now that the girl had proved she could at least be some trouble. Hopeful Syre could end this match rather quickly.

Terren just chuckled as the roots and stem began to reform. "Not that easily killed." She said. As the plant, after being planted, became her life force in a manner of speaking. If it was destroyed comepletely, she may very well end up pushing herself to death. The seed, and once it was a plabt, kept her from losing her cool to head straight into a kust for death, whether be her's or her opponent's. While he proceeded to stab the plant, she picked a huge chunk of frozen earth and threw it at the man at the same speed as her last attack. Although, to answer the man's unsaid question, she had kept to herself and learned many things in her two hundred years of life.

The chunk of ice was rather pointless really because as the plant regrew after Syre stabbed it he knew it would take a bit more then that to take out. He would leave it be for now and take a step back. The ice chunk missed him by a bit and Syre turned to look at the girl over the water. It was obvious that he couldn't attack her directly there, at least not slashing and hacking but there where other methods of combat.
Syre figured he should test how this whole floating thing worked, and why not throw in an attack at the same time. Syre ran towards his opponent and upon reaching the edge of the pool he jumped. He aimed to jump past her on her left side and land neatly on the other side of the pool. His left had would slash under the girl accomplishing two things, if anything was under her it was sure to be struck and it made it so she couldn't avoid his second attack by moving down. At the same time as his left hand was crossing under her, from the same side he would sweep his right hand, and the blade it held at her, aiming for her middle.
If everything went well the girl would be cut and Syre would land smoothly. If not, well there were a lot of if nots.

Obviously, there was nothing under although it did knock her a bit off balance, as her floating in the air was just as if she were standing on the ground. Knocking her off balance helped her avoid the slash to her middle. The blade, though, did lick the back of her calf, but it was deep. She rolled from the air and landed on the ground on her back. She quickly stood up, licked her hand, and touched her calf on her cut, burning the wound closed. Again, she just stood there, waiting.

Oh, so she really could simply float. Well that indeed was interesting. The real problem was she just stood there most likely saving up her power for some large attack. The good part about this was Syre had managed to hit the girl twice. The first hit was only a scratch but the second time his blade bit in deep. into her calf not to mention. Even though the wound had been sealed off ((Syre's blade is so hot itself it cauterizes wounds like that for you. So it was sealed off as he cut it. Some deeper wounds it wont do that for however.)) it would make her slower as the muscles would still have been damaged, and it would still hurt every time she moved her leg. Though like most experienced fighters she could probably push the pain aside, the damage was still done and her body wouldn't ignore that.
The girl landed on her back a little bit away from Syre and he would not give her a chance to rest. As she was busy getting getting up Syre took a step in her direction and swung his long sword's broad side at her head as she was in the process of standing aiming to hit the side of her head, mainly her temple, with the side of his sword. He did not particularly want to kill his opponent but he did want to win. If the blow landed, it had quite a bit of force to it. Definitely enough to knock a person out and maybe send them backwards a good couple feet. The way the sword was angled though it wouldn't do any major damage to her skull though she might suffer a mild concussion.

Just as she stood up, she saw the blade coming. Her eyes darted around the arena as her hand shoved the katana up and her head moved away from the impact. Again, the blade did nothing but the force of the blow and block together did sprain, and possiblely break her wrist. She sheathed her katana and smirked. Time for it, what ever it was. Never having done this at full capacity, she had no idea how it would end up. The seed she had planted was full and ready to go. She jumped back and far away from her opponent. Though her next attack would drain her, she would have enough strength to complete the after affects. Her eyes darted to the plant, her unhurt hand shot out qiuckly. A lick of fire intwined in her hands before shooting and reaching the plant. The plannt then grew a bit more into a rose, before it opened. After it was opened, thorns began shooting out and instead of fire companying the throns, it was chunks of earth, spit up by the rose itself. The thorns, when or if they hit, would paralyze her opponent. Since it was in an enclosed area, it would more then likely hit. After she sent her finishing attack off, her opponent would be sluggish in their movement, allowing her more time to actually follow through and almost surely catch her opponent some way or another.

It seemed though his attack was blocked it was still rather effective. Syre thought it may have damaged the girls hand or wrist as she stopped using that hand after he hit. What was more interesting however was what she used her left hand for. She seemed to somehow signal the plant and as it began to open, Syre saw what was coming. Syre had already started running as the plant spit out its spines and earth. The spikes and thorns and bits a earth darted past Syre luckily he was fast. The seer number of the attacks coming at his however were almost to many. One lodged into his boot but Syre managed to keep running and deflect a earthen missile along with another thorn headed for his chest. The Syre slid like a baseball player sliding in to home plate. His slid took him behind one of the large chunks of ice in the corner. Syre thanked whoever put it here silently. Syre quickly checked the thorn in his boot and thankfully it didn't touch his skin. It never made it past the boot. Syre flicked it out with his left hand dagger as thorns and chunks of earth berated his hiding spot slowly wearing down the ice. Syre acted quickly though.
Threw out there whole match Syre had been silently praying to his father, and now it was time for his own seeds to bear their fruit. Syre focused on the plants location and from beneath the plant shot out a large pillar of blindingly white flames. The flames were incredibly hot, hot enough to easily burn a normal plant, hot enough to in fact incinerate most things on contact. Hopefully this plant was not fire proof, which was highly likely. The flames would reach there pinnacle height of ten feet and there full width of about a five foot radius in a matter or two seconds. And as fast as the flames came in four seconds they would be gone.
But Syre was not so cocky as to put all his chips in on one card. He had a back up plan. As soon as the flames started he burst from his hiding spot and raced as fast as he could to the ice block down from him and much closer to the plant. There was little chance the plant would be able to shoot through the heat of that fire and it would only take Syre about five seconds at full speed to reach the next block. No way he would get caught.

Terren stood comepletely still during this. When the flames hit her plant, her eyes became the same color as the flames surrounding it. She actually screamed in agony for those few short seconds. When the flames calmed and disperesed she sighed in relief. Her plant was gone. When she regained control, how ever, she would have to strengthen it. When the flames were gone, her eyes momentarily returned to their natural color before quickly sliding on to a deep, rose and blood red looking color. She took a deep breath before she unsheathed her katana. In her state now, she wouldn't even realize the pain in her wrist, although useing it would cause more damage. A lound, demonic roar escaped her lips as she looked at the ice block that her opponent hid behind. She awaited, silently now, his attack.

By the sounds of his opponent his attack had worked. Success, now he could face his opponent in earnest. Syre emerged from behind his ice block glad that the demonic barb spitting thing was gone. That and he was still yet more impressed by his opponent. She still had enough fuel to keep going even after she had unleashed that beast of a plant on him. This girl was loaded up with energy. Syre could only pull his hat trick by himself because it was not actually him supplying the energy for the attack. Oh well time to get it on he supposed. Syre stepped out the side of his ice block just enough so that his right side was visible. He was cautious now as the bellow his opponent had made did not sound normal. It was likely she had changed forms as many of his opponents had before. Upon stepping out from behind his block 'o ice the only noticeable change he saw in his opponent was her eyes. He would no more play the attacker however, if she still wanted to continue she would come this way. So there he stood waiting on his opponent sword up and at the ready. He wondered how long she could maintain this new change whatever it was.
