Victum Soul I think fender stratocasters are the best ones for begginers, they are cheap as hell and work pretty good. How cheap?

Victum Soul I think fender stratocasters are the best ones for begginers, they are cheap as hell and work pretty good. I would have to agree. Although i'm not sure if the Strats are bettar than any other make, i just know that fenders are good for beginners. you definately want to get something thats good quality for a really good price. Because if you don't like it, you wouldn't waste your money on something that sits in your closet. and certain guitars are good for beginners because the action's a bit higher and it take's alot more effort to play and get a cleaner sound. and that's important when your a beginner. I suggest going to guitar center and just playing guitars. and if your guitar center's anything like mine, they will try to pressure you into buying, but stay strong! and I've had a shector five string bass guitar for about 3 years now, its got great active EMG pickups with a neck through body. and its good for playing both metal and funk. If the guitars are as good as the basses, then you're set.

The retail price is $1199, I'm pretty sure I could sell a used one in good condition for $400.

I was thinking about it. I'm going to spend a month practicing by myself and with the help of my friend, if I get the hang of it I'll take lessons. If I completely fail at I'll wait another month with attempting it and if all fails, I'll sell it.

Well, if the guitar is that bad you'll probably realize that sooner than when you get attached to it.

My Hollow Should have bought a bass. I am not much of a bassist. From what I've noticed, certain kinds of people just make really good bassists, and I'm not one of those people. I can usually look at a picture of a band and pick out the bassist.

Guitarists are usually in front. Coincidence? I think not.
