Even though Njalo was sure he hadn't slept for that long, it felt like he had rested for a week. Strength flowed through his limbs, though it seemingly stopped right before entering his brain. Groggy despite his restless muscles, Njalo smiled clumsily as if in agreement--wandering was a lonely pursuit. He hoped that someday maybe he would not be so lonely, and either join a traveling group or find a female that shared his wanderlust... Or, if he could not find either in permanence, then their short-term alternatives. A shiver ran down his spine, and Njalo let out a quiet, chittering moan; pondering the future often made him feel thus.
"I suppose we should get on our ways in case it starts raining again." He walked a few paces, then turned and added, "Perhaps we'll see each other again somewhere, it's a rather small world, you know, and with both of us traveling in who knows what direction, it could very well happen." With those words and a grin, Njalo trotted towards the jungle's closest edge.

Zeus smiled in return as he watched the young male turn to go, a rather gentle expression on his face. The little diversion had been a pleasant one, if brief.
"Pleasant journeying, Njalo." He said softly. "May your path be easy, your resting places accommodating, and your companions pleasing to your eyes and mind." The orange male laughed as he said the blessing, a slight variation on the one his pride traditionally gave to travelers.
"I do hope we meet again, I'd love to hear about what you found on your travels." He bowed his dark-maned head in a farewell, though he made no move to leave just yet. He didn't feel ready to move on, though he couldn't really say why. For now, he'd sit and enjoy the rain washed world, there was no hurry for him to move on.
