Pocket Lint couldn't look up to him yet. Her ears twitched, hearing the small gasp that came out from Ranulf's mouth. She sniffed the berries again, taking another one into her mouth and ate it. She liked the taste of it. Feeling the nuzzle and "hug", she finally looked over to him. She briefly smiled to him and nuzzled him back. Her tail slightly wagged behind her. "N-not.. sad." She said quietly.

"Haaa... Haaaappp... Pocket Haapppeee..." Ranulf tried to say. He frowned at his own inability to say words properly, he had to teach himself how to sound out every word. He must have sounded so stupid. "Pocket Happy?" He finally managed to get out. He figured so with her tail wagging and her turning to look at him, but he wanted to be sure. He didn't want it to just be a show to make him feel better.

Pocket Lint nuzzled Ranulf, trying to encourage him to try and say his words properly. She smiled. answering back quietly. "P-Pocket very ha-happy." She stuttered, nuzzling him again. Her ear twitched as she got another berry and ate it with satisfaction. Her tail wagged behind her.

She hadn't laughed at him, she hadn't shied away at his embarrassment, no... She nuzzled him. Ranulf gave a sigh, a little bit more relaxed. He looked at the berries as Pocket ate them and saw one that looked exceptionally juicy not too far from him. He plucked the berry and offered it to pocket. He wasn't very hungry now that he was excited, but suspected that she must be. "Eat?"

Pocket Lint heard him sigh and smiled. Her tail wagged, looking at the berry that Ranulf was offering. She smiled brightly. "T-thank you." She said quietly, accepting the berry. She licked her lips again. It was definately a sweet, juicy one.

Ranulf simply nodded, not knowing any other way to say you are welcome. He wagged his tail quickly, full even though he had eaten so little. An odd grin came across his face and he lunged forward, nipping at pocket's mane before dashing off. "Tag!!" He bellowed as he ran.

Pocket Lint smiled to Ranulf. Her ears twitched a bit as she stared at him curiously. Seeing him quickly lunge forward, her heart jumped in reaction to the quick movement. Feeling him n** her mane after she briefly shut her eyes, she blinked and peered to see Ranulf running off. She tilted her head. "T-tag..?" She said quietly in confusion before quickly realizing she had to chase him! She quickly started to bolt after him.

Ranulf giggled and weaved his way in between treas and rocks as he ran away from Pocket. When he thought he was just far enough away he plunged into a bush to hide from her.

Pocket Lint tried to follow him, but was starting to get confused what they were doing. The foal was trying to manuever her way through the trees and rocks without getting hurt, which resulted her in going slower, eventually loosing Ranulf. Her ears twitched as she looked around, unsure where he could be. "R-ranulf!" Her tail curled inbetween her legs, looking around frightened, walking around hesitantly.
