Eyulf smiled, and thought a moment. He knew that to find someone's definition for them would be impossible, but it might cheer her up if he complimented her. In the end decided to share his thoughts, "Well from what I can tell you seem to have a lot of spirit. I don't imagine you letting anyone walk all over you. That's just my thoughts though. So, would you like to go do something?" He'd had about enough with just sitting around on such a nice day. He had to get out some of that energy that built up during the conversation. His tail was even wagging to help get rid of some of it. Not only that, but going out and doing something with someone new was the best way to brighten your day.

Suki smiled as she got up on to her feet and trotted over to him.
"Sure, doing something might be nice."

"Anything in particular you would like to do?" He was thinking that today would be a good day for a swim, but wanted to give her first choice. After all, he wasn't sure what she liked to do.

Suki stood in silence as she thought about that day.
"Well, I don't mind anything in particular. You seem like an active guy who has probably been around the island more than I have, so I'll let you choose."
Suki gave a nervous laugh. She hadn't really been around the island much prefering to stay in one area for a good amount of time before moving to a new one.

"Okay!" Eyulf smiled, his tail wagging a bit. He then asked, "Do you like to swim?" He would rather not take her to do something she didn't want to do. They could always just go exploring.

Suki laughed nervously at the question. Being the daughter of a fire starter she never got to spend much time in or near the water which meant VERY few swimming lessons.
"I'm..I'm not that great of a swimmeer...but i'm willing to learn and try it out! Don't get me wrong about that! My father...he wasn't a big fan of water, so I never spent much time around it except for water breaks and baths."

"Really? Well I'd be glad to teach you. Swimming's lots of fun!" Eyulf wagged his tail happily. "The pond is somewhere over that way." He pointed, and then started to head off in that direction. He never knew exactly where the pond was, but he could usually find it.

Suki jogged off after Eyulf as he started off towards the pond. The thought of letting a stranger teach her something she knew nothing about made the female a little nervous. Sighing, she kept her eyes on the male to make sure she didn't lose sight of him.
"Are you sure you can teach me how to swim? And is it safe? What if I drowned or something comes up and grabs me!? Life in the movie Jaws or something? Yeah, sharks don't really live in ponds, but still! And when you said "The Pond is somewhere over this way" are you saying you don't really know where it is?.."

"Well the pond I'm speaking of sorta moves around...don't ask me why, I really don't understand it myself. As for something coming up to grab you, well you just have to be careful about the underwater plants otherwise you could get a little tangled up in them. Still, I've never got tangled up in them, and Zinnia's only been tangled up once and she said that it was pretty easy to get out of. So yeah, the pond is safe, and it's easy to teach someone how to swim." Eyulf listed all this out as he closed in on the pond. His ears scouted out the sounds of water, and while he couldn't hear anything yet, he would surely find the pond soon.

"Ok then." Suki's ear's twitched as she thought about all that was said. Swimming sounded fun and alright, but the part of her, the part of her father that she inherited, wasn't all too thrilled. It was actually fearful.
Shaking her head Suki fought it. She could be brave like her brothers and sisters. She just had to try this time around.
"Oh, is that is over there?" Suki nodded towards what looked like a far off pond area.

"Yep, that's it!" replied Eyulf happily, his tail wagging as he headed off toward it. He could smell Suki's fear, but was sure that it would wear off when she found out how fun swimming really is. "Good job on spotting it."

"Um, thank!" Suki quickly jogged off after Eyulf only to halt as she reached the edge of the lake. She peered in to the lake and tried to look passed he reflection to see if she could spot anything in the water. All she could really see was lake plants and fish though.
"It looks safe enough I guess." She turned to the male, "So, we just jump in, right?"

"Yep!" Eyulf jumped into the water, plummeting toward the bottom until he paddled his way up. The water was a nice, cool temperature considering how long it was sitting out in the hot sun. It felt very refreshing. "The water's great!"
