Marie pondered at Martin babysitting. Probably not. But regardless she probably ould need some time off and would consider him, or his father. "Yes, they're something to marvel over, marie gently nudged the baskets closer to them. Marie began to toy around with Kiun's feathers and such and locsed her eyes to rest for a few seconds.

Kiun nuzzled the trio of baskets once more, and said ruefully, "They'll be quite the handful once they come out of there." He was secretly hoping for them to have wings, like him, then he could teach them how to fly. He placed a wing over all the baskets protectively, they were so fragile, with little sprouts of life growing inside of them.

Marie looked at them. "Maybe they'll be lovely little ladies, and won't be as bad as we think, hmm~" She said with a estatic face and thinking about the many things she could teach her girls. Like how to maintain your figure and such.

Kiun recoiled in fake horror, and squeaked out, "All...girls?" He grinned, and said, "Well, I hope for at least one colt" He looked over the baskets again, and asked, "How long do they stay in there? Will they have enough food?" Though he tried to hide it, there was a note of worry in his voice, and he bit his lip nervously.

The little filly was curled up inside her warm basket, half heartidly, she snuffled around a bit, looking for some food. When she found none, she sighed and looked up at the lid covering the container she was in. She didn't really want to go out in the world, but she was hungry. Besides, she heard voices way up there, and there was something about them that just made her feel at home.
She shoved her delicate little head up into the lid of the basket, it moved a bit, so she shoved it again. This time, it came all the way off. The little filly was left blinking in the sudden light that flooded her world. She unfolded her little legs and took a careful step out of the basket. She wobbled, then found her center of balance. She looked up to see a giant blue creature, and a giant peach colored creature. She looked down at herself, then at the peach creature again. They were of the same coloring. Did this mean that these two creatures were her parents?
Kiun gasped and nudged Marie, he whispered softly, "Look, the basket, its opening!" He watched in awe as the lid came off and the little filly inside came out. He smiled widely, and said, "Hello there my dear." He had thought long and hard about a name for his two legger's basket, and said softly, "You shall be Katrina, Katrina Von Helson." He smiled at Marie, and watched as the other two baskets began to open.
Katrina tilted her head, she liked these two creatures, maybe she would stay with them for a while. She mulled over her name in her mind. It was a nice name, she liked it. She tried it out, the words feeling heavy on her tongue. "Ka-Katrina Von Helson?" She smiled as she heard herself say it.

Marie stared at the filly for a second in shock, what could she say? "Katrina, yes, A fine name for a fine girl." She nuzzled the foal and examined her, she reminded marie of herself as a child , minus the stockings and red accents in her hair. "Wel come to the world darling, we've been waiting." She looked to Kiun, grinning and waiting for the next basket to open.
the gray basket erupted into some Movement, then died down suddenly. The colt inside was beginning to finish his last bits of food as decided it was time to come out, besides, he felt one of his siblings was already hogging the attention.
In a jolt of energy he kicked the basket open and climbed out, cracking his neck slightly and yawning. He blinked a few times as he felt the heat of the sun.
Then began to nudge the others , especially Marie sinceshe had the softest coat. "Mam?" He said inquisitively and trotted to kiun. "Dah?" Then he looked to his sister and glared slightly. "Mrrrrr..." He grumbled slightly at her, obviously annoyed at her already.

[We'll wait for Rev now]
Katrina shot a smug look at her brother, she had total bragging rights of being the first out of the basket. She swished her tail at him and then with a coy look on her face pranced over to Marie and said adoringly, "Mommy? I want to be just like you when I'm big, you're just so perfect."
She shot another smug look at her brother, daring him to do better than that. He just didn't have her cute girlish charm. And if he did, then that would just be creepy.
Kiun shot an amused glance at Marie, and said, half laughing, "Sibling rivalry already, my, that was quick." He looked proudly at his children. Sure, neither of them had wings, but Katrina looked a lot like Marie, and the colt seemed to be a mix between the both of them. He looked fondly at the last basket, which was a ringer for himself, and nudged it with his nose, calling softly, "Time to come out little one."

Curling further into itself the small foal bit back a grunt of annoyance, attempting to ignore the voices that floated through her basket. Brow furrowing as the outside of her basket was nudged she kicked back at the spot in response, lid shifting slightly from the impact, causing thin tendrils of light filter through the crack and into the once dark basket.
Blinking bearily at the spot, eyes squinting, she nudged it with her nose. Curiously peeking her snout out before quickly pulling back in again. She waited a moment, wondering if anything would happen before sticking her nose out again, this time following it with the rest of her head. She found herself blinking up at creature much like herself, and the same brilliant blue at that.
Hurridly she pushed at wobbly legs, stummbling as she attempted to find her balance, ears and eyes swiveling about in attempt to take in everything at once.

[[ Chai, did you ever get Lorlin's Temper? :3 I forgot / couldn't get online AIM last night to ask herr. :U ]]
Marie licked the colt and nudged the new filly slightly. "They're beautiful,Kiun..." She couldn't help but hold a tear....or ten from sliding carelessly down her cheek and dripping onto the ground while watching her three children take there first steps into the new world.
She looked to Kiun. "They'll get over rivalry, me and my sister did, eventually." Marie knew that was most certainly a lie, she'd to flee her home land because of her sister, but marie would never tell. Not even kiun would find out about her, atleast, she hoped.
The colt bucked and went up to his papa. "Dah, when I get big and strong i wanna have big wings like you! And fly around and rescue people from disaster and then fight a monsterr!" He smiled and flicked his tail, looking to his newest sister with a smile, then glaring at the other once more.
He knew he'd done better with his father, he had the sense of a spirit and adventure suited best for young boys, and his sister would hear a mouth full from her mother if she tried to go out on a epic adventure,so, it all worked out quite nicely.

[No, I didn't. I only sent in Katrina's info cause I wasn't sure if you guys were set on what you wanted to do, so when you do send it in, don't include mine. Though Antigra will probably like for you guys's to be in one pm -nod- XD I was impatient]
Kiun looked down at the ground, not sure how to answer his sons questions without crushing his hopes and dreams, but as he was thinking, Katrina cut him off.
"Silly!" She snorted, "If we had wings we would have been born with them. You will never fly, you're grounded." She sniffed primly and continued, "Daddy may have wings but we never will." An inward shudder ran through her, already in her young life heights didn't sound very pleasant, she was happy to go without wings.
Kiun turned to his son with a sigh and said, "I'm afraid she is right though, if you were to have wings like me you would have been born with them. " He shrugged apologetically and noticed Katrina give her brother a sneer. Kiun grinned and rolled his eyes, and gave his son a soft nuzzle on the head.
"But flying isn't all that its said to be, I have to watch out for wind currents and if they're too strong my wings could be ripped off. If I fly to high I could faint from lack of oxygen and die." He didn't want to scare his children into thinking every time he went on a flight he wouldn't come back, but they needed to know. It also might help his son deal with the fact that he would never fly.
He turned to the filly who had just come out of her basket and nuzzled her. He said gently, "Welcome to the world little one."
