Well, Irelia wasn't expecting THAT. Ok, ok, so she pushed him wayyy further than what she probably should have and she had no idea that he was well... more than just an idiot possessing Antony. All this ran through her mind in less than a second.
Struggling feebly, Irelia scratched at his hands as hard as she could, trying to inflict as much pain as she could while trying to get away. Her throat was contracting and she could barely breathe, but she was determined to get the answers out of him. The secrets that she knew he had.
Irelia narrowed her eyes and tried to nod. She was so <********> feeble and she hated herself for that.

"That's enough," Shade said from behind Rudolfo, his hand chopping sharp and swift on the boy's neck. Rudolfo's eyes widened for a second as the power of his grasp left, letting her drop to the ground as he fell to his knees. Slowly his eyes closed and he slumped forward, giving into the blackness of unconsciousness.
Casually Shade pulled off his belt and tied Rudolfo's hands behind his back, lifting the unconscious boy over his shoulder. Then he looked at Irelia. "We need to talk, Irelia," he said with a little smile. "It shouldn't take long."

Irelia collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath. It had happened so fast that it seemed no one in Blockbuster had taken any notice, though Irelia had to wonder if the security tapes would tell a different story. Or if anyone would care.
Looking up at Shade, Irelia nodded and got to her feet shakily.
"We better. Letting a retard like that run around when you knew, or at least suspected something was wrong isn't cool." Irelia voice was raspy. Hopefully Rudolfo hadn't caused her voicebox lasting damage or she would kick Antony in the nads.

"This is the first time he's actually attacked someone," Shade said conversationally as he headed for the door. He switched his hold on Antony, effectively turning it into a princess hold. "Sorry," he told the kid at the counter. "My son here has fainting spells once in a while. Low blood pressure," he added, his hold hiding the tied hands from the kid behind the counter.
He had moved too fast for the chop to be caught on film, and honestly, the kid didn't want to mess with a guy that had guys crumpling at his feet for no apparent reason.
"Come again," the kid called, waving them past.
"Now, let's go somewhere people won't notice us," Shade said, looking around.

"Gay bar. ***** anonymous. MAMBLA," When Irelia was scared or pissed she became snarkier than usual, "Or we could go sit in the park."
"That someone was me. And you weren't expecting him to attack someone I'm guessing?" Irelia rasped out, walking quickly to keep up with Shade. She had to snicker at what Antony looked like, it was pretty ridiculous.

He nodded, heading for the park and not saying a word until they were under a large tree, where Antony was laid out a bit less than gracefully. "When the real Antony is back he's going to b***h for a month about what this guy has done to his clothing," he said with a sigh before turning to Irelia. "As far as I could tell he's nicer than Antony ever was, usually. What did you say to piss him off so much?"

"The usual things that piss people off. The truth." Irelia smiled, though her neck was showing signs of bruising.
"If Antony never told you, I can read people's secrets. Not minds, that's a different sort of thing. Any information you hide is as easy for me to see as if you shouted it in my ear. And that guy could barely contain his aura let alone what his secrets were," Irelia stopped and coughed, trying to clear her throat, "His name is Rudolfo and he's here to kill you. I guess you were following him right?"
Irelia looked a little uneasy and sighed.
"Thanks, by the way. i'm glad he didn't kill me, Jace would have killed Antony and our two families would be at war forever. Like Romeo and Juliet. Except like. Antony and I aren't lovers, ugh." Irelia shuddered and made a face. GROSS.

He frowned. "Rudolfo... That wouldn't happen to be Prince Rudolfo, would it?" he asked after a long moment of silence.

Irelia's face split in to a grin.
"Well of course. Antony wanted to be a prince and now he's being possessed by one. How ironic," Irelia looked over to Antony, who looked so serene under the tree, his hair flowing majestically... Irelia was of a mind to hate him, "I take it you know this Prince Rudolfo?"

"Yeah," he said. "It's been a few... years. But I know who he is." He sighed. "I'm sorry it got this far, Irelia. It took me a little bit to find out where you two were in the store. But it won't happen again."

"How did you know we were in the store? And just what do you plan on doing to Antony? Rudolfo. Whatever."
Irelia shook her head.
"It was my fault. I pushed him too far and he snapped. Same thing I did with my dad, but he was court martialed or something. I dunno, but he's gone."
Irelia didn't really want to share her sob story with Shade, but she didn't want him to feel bad. She liked pushing buttons. It was fun.

"It's hard to explain," Shade said, looking over at Antony. "He's already a teenager, it's kinda weird. I remember bringing him home as a cabbage just the other day." He stood. "Look, why don't I get you some ice cream? It'll be good for your throat."

Irelia snorted.
"Usual adult tactic: bribe the kid in question with sweets to get them to forget their original questions. Ha! I remember them well. But I guess I'll leave them to you as Antony is already pissed at me for the well thing. He'll probably be pissed again when he gets back."
Irelia held out her hand.
"Give me 5 bucks for ice cream, and I'll shut up and leave you two alone. Sound fair? I'd ask for 50 but I'd rather not get beat up a third time.

Irelia took the ten, but lingered. This was interesting. She'd leave when Shade shooed her away, but this was way too interesting to flounce off right away.
