ensure that you have your Matt costume done by the July photoshoot so
we can fanservice. :]
I believe he said that the video will be posted around the 20th or so.
@Death: Yeah, it seems like there aren't a lot of guys who recognize the
character. It doesn't help that the Stars anime was never released in the US, either.
@Kira: Thanks. I probably would have tried using you as a manakin a
couple months ago, too. I want to get some practice making clothes to fit
other people, but I want to get through as much of my costume list as
possible by September, and then I'll have like five months to relax and do stuff for other people until SakuraCon.
I only have those two pictures of my Haruko costume. I think I may redo
it someday. I definately will if I ever get a Vespa. XD
Edit: Apparently our dancing was on the news. =O
It's not up on the King 5 website [yet?], but this is about the guy we were dancing with.

Well that just sucks....well, Sailor Stars wasn't really any better than the other series but it was still nice to watch. Ever wanna try Sailor Uranus?

July's hasn't been scheduled yet, but a lot of us are pushing for the middle
of the month because we'll be losing people to AX and various Fourth of
July related things if it's at the beginning of the month.
I think a suede coat or vest should be canibalized for his vest. We can find
one at a thrift store or something when we go shopping, and I'll help you
with it. I'm also thinking about getting some of that theatrical makeup to
make a scar with when I drag you to Display and Costume. Which of
Matt's many color schemes were you planning on going with?
@Death: Only if one of my friends is doing Neptune or something. If I was
going to do another non-villain Sailor Moon character anytime soon,
Neptune or Saturn would be my first choices.
@Seliece: My mom taught me how to sew, then I had a whole class for it
at school. And I'll probably have two sewing classes this fall because I
don't have one in Spring or Summer quarter due to scheduling issues.

Some Trinity Blood outfits would be awesome at a wedding. When we
were talking about the wedding at Gas Works Park, one of the other
cosplayers said that they knew someone who had their ushers dressed as
Turks at their wedding.
@Freaks: Yep, I have almost a full KH group. We have at least 8/13 of the
Organization, Sora, Riku, Kairi, DiZ, and we may also end up with the
Twilight Town peoples. We're all planning to go to Disney World together
with out costumes in two years, and we'll have other gatherings and
photoshoots before then, and probably wear our costumes to 2010's
SakuraCon.
Our Riku and I are being kind of OCD about it. He's a costume design
major and I'm a fashion design major, so... yeah. It's SRS BIZNIS for us.
This is the fabric that I'm going to suggest for the Organization coats,
and I also think that would be a good site to order it from. And I'm going
to suggest this pattern for the coats, but we'll modify the style lines in
the chest a bit to make them more accurate, and probably draft new
sleeves.

There was a guy at the photoshoot who would have been the perfect Near
if his hair had actually been the right color.
Which parts of the costume do you have so far?
Before July's shoot, I'll have to go to Costco and buy a massive box of
chocolate bars.
