Nice one Frozen in Flames way to let the cat out of the bag!! rofl I really don't know who this guy thinks he's saving. It's up to people to save themselves in terms of religion. I've played D&D for ten years now and have only once been an evil character, and now we are adventuring as reincarnations of our old selves to fix what we had done as an evil party. So don't go telling me that EVERYTHING that is done in a D&D campaign is evil. Most games are run so that you can be HERO'S!!!!!!!!!! You know the GOOD GUYS. Sheesh and if they aren't run that way then it would simply allow a person to live out any dark fantasy without ever hurting anyone in real life. This is a method of healing supported by psychiatrists. It's called an OUTLET and it's a redirect of thoughts and desires into a safe and manageable form which allows a person to act on said thoughts and desires and never actually perform them in real life. Read a book dude and take a couple classes and THEN come talk to me.
Damn! It looks like I'm gonna have to use wind walk to catch up to everyone. Well come on Fluffy! (Fluffy is my Legendary Bear animal Companion)

This guy's a jack*ss. :edited by staff
First off, I myself am a LaVeyan Satanist, and in any D&D texts, I have seen nothing tha reflect the rituals accurately, so I call bullshit on this point. I also bet that this guy claims to be a former witch or satanist or whatever in order to mislead others into thinking he knows what the ******** he is talkiabout. I hate it when someone doesn't like a book or a game and claims that it is "evil" or "satanic". I'm actually glad that these people make a fuss about this. Ravings by some pious jackasses are much better advertising conduits than anything TSR or WOTC could have dreampt of.

BEHOLD! HE'S RIGHT! Enraged by the confrontation of their realities several DnD players immediately began formulating plans to rape and murder the city of Milwauke! The plans include summoning demons in occult rituals and desecrating the corpses of the unsuspecting Christians!
SATANISM!!! Got Jesus?
And I don't think he even realises that Satanism has nothing to do with devilworship xd

SATANISM!!!Got Jesus? And I don't think he even realises that Satanism has nothing to do with devilworship xd Yeah, haha. I read the LavVyan Satanic Bible a while ago, (I read a lot of religious texts, Religion interests me. Well, not so much Christianity, I really dislike Christianity.) and it was pretty interesting. I never really bought into the Magic thing in The Book of Belial, (I think it was the Book of Belial, not too sure. Might've been Leviathan.) but a lot of the concepts make a lot of sense, in fact, a lot more sense than the concepts that the Christian Bible says you should have. Satanism seems to be very focused on simply being yourself, and being Human, rather than wrapping yourself up in all these inhibitions, thus making yourself 'superior' to everyone else who doesn't believe explicitly in your God. Unless someone has read the Satanic Bible and is decently informed as to Satanic practice, they should have no right to critisise it.

Even if the rituals were accurate, would anyone really get the stuff and cast magic on it? How the hell are you supposed to summon a demon?! Just find a million year old artifact that doesn't exist and cast a spell that you don't even know on it!

Hallon Vice Thus, in my mind, and in the minds of most who have come out of this background as I have (occultism and Satanism); there is no doubt that Dungeons and Dragons and its imitators are right out of the pit of hell. Yes, as have Harry Potter, Pokemon, Rock and Roll music and Pornography.

actually, this guy is pure propaganda and bluff on a soapbox: It's been scientifically proven by several large-scale groups that Fantasy Roleplaying does not cause psychosis. It may agravate a condition already present, but it's safe to say, if the person is unstable to start with, they need help regardless. also, may so-called cases of "DnD gone horrible wrong" are media fabricated tales, urban myth and legend. they never really happened, at least not half the way they are told. More like, some kid does something silly/stupid, "DnD" is mentioned, and the media leaps to a conclusion that DnD is "demonic" and "is the fault of everything", then broadcasts it to the masses. the masses then get outraged, grab their pitchforks, and hold frenzied protests against normal people as "devil-worshipers". Offhand, I'd say the media is the real problem, not books of computer code. yeah, that's right. code. I looked at it, and as rookie programer, Even I can draw clear parallels between a DnD book and Code for program; it's basically a Computer game, written for the greatest system of all time, the human mind. that's why it's so fun; it uses the best possible technology to create a game-parents have for years complained about children liking video games over books...yet, when they are finally reconciled into what is perhaps the ultimate Book/story, one that writes itself, parents recoil in horror and try to have it banned. you tell me, what's wrong with this picture? whee

When I was a high school Senior, I did not like my theology teacher (even though I am a Christian) and I enjoyed bringing up subjects that got him all agitated.
Me: Pastor J******?
P: yes?
Me: What do you think about Dungeons and Dragons?
P: *goes off on a tangent about the evils of it*...Why?
Me: oh I was just wondering. My boyfriend is teaching me how to play. I like it quite a bit. Well, he's picking me up so I'll see you tomorrow!! *waves*
P:...*makes strangling noises as I walk away*
I must say, he was happy to see me graduate. The point I'm trying to make is when people say things like that, I like messing with them. I find it amusing. twisted

You guys are trolls.
Just like you're entitled to your opinion about the game, others are as well. What you say on here is not going to have any direct influence on their minds. Even should you say it to them directly, it wouldn't do anything except troll.
Any why grave dig this thread? It was gone and over. Please try to not wake the dead.

Well, if it is then I really don't care because weak minded/willed people deserve to be ridculed into nothingness and if people disagree with me I really don't care. Also I don't think that it deos, I think people just like the idea of having diffrent worlds and such.
