Kira tilted her head. "You're famous? I really never would have known. I... sort of spend a lot of time in the woods. I'm a pokemon trainer and coordinator. It's a pleasure to meet you, Teddy!"
She smiled and put in an order for some terra mesu as well as some crembule. She giggled and blushed. "Sorry, I have a bit of a sweet tooth..."

" Why has everyone I met so far been a damn pokemon trainer. I can never understand that whole stupid thing. Raising ugly things to beat up other things? Seriously. So unnecessary. " Teddy's thoughts went on to adventures in the woods. How unrealistic! Running around in the wild with things that poop and pee all over the place. Beyond gross.
" I guess since you guys are all stuck in the middle of nowhere you haven't seen my fame. I'm on Pogeyzine Magazine! That's huge, you know! All I have to do is pose here and there and BAM! Instant fame plus money. Its totally delicious, Kira. " The topic of himself always seemed to cheer him up. He didn't even mind the girls presence.
" Oh em gee! My brownie is here! " Teddy clapped excitedly as it was placed in front of him. He went right for it.

Kira gave a shrug. "I think some of them are really cute. Katie, my Pachirisu, it actually going to be entered into a contest, but I need to work on her level so she can learn better moves. It's hard though, I don't like seeing her getting hurt."
She brushed hair back from her face. "Really? You sound like you have a lot of fun being a modle. You certainly have the look for it; you're drop dead gorgeous."
She gave a happy squeak when her two desserts arrived, then offered some to Teddy. "Would you like to share some of this? It's amazingly good!"

" Level? Better moves? They do stuff!? What the hell. I just thought they sat around pooping. Everyone at school just brought them to show off. Especially the ugly kids. Just 'cause they got a little worm thing they instantly became popular. Whatever. " He paused for a bit, staring down at his plate recalling his school days. They were all so stupid.
Kira's compliment brought him back to the present, and even made him slightly blush. " Well..of course I am! No one realizes how much work I put into my looks. Not eating specific things, walking slowly down steps so I don't fall. All that crazy stuff! " He shook his head at her food. The brownie was already starting to fill him up.

"Well, all your hard work really shows, Teddy! When I first saw you I thought that you were one of those girls that the look-gods had created in their image. I mean... you're flawless." Kira smiled and took another bite of her tera masu. She was completely the opposite of Teddy, she liked taking it rough and she currently had scabs on her knees and elbows and a bruise on her arm that she had no idea where she'd gotten it.
"Yeah, Pokemon are really interesting creatures. They have habits that are not only unique to their species but also unique to the individual." She blushed a bit. "My mother and late father were both researchers, so I grew up in that sort of environment...."

" I know, right! I'm glad you see the perfection I see. About time people showed some more appreciation. " Teddy was practically glowing by now. His smile was wide, showing off his pearly whites. Guess he judged too fast. Kira was the type of person he should befriend. She would probably shower him with compliments, making his ego grow and grow.
" You know what. I'll be paying for your meal. If you promise to be my sidekick. I need a girl like you around. I could also use you pokemon knowledge for my own personal gain. If you feed me some info here and there, I'd 'prolly gain more fans! "

Kira laughed lightly and rubbed the back of her head. "I really don't want to be anyone's side kick; I don't like being used. But if you'd like to be friends, I would really enjoy that. You're funny and really nice to be around. I wouldn't mind teaching you a bit about pokemon either, but what I know barely scratches the surface."
Just like the boy that sat in front of her, Kira wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She didn't like the idea of being used, and she didn't want to have to go through that sort of relationship; they always ended poorly.

" Yeah yeah yeah. " Teddy ignored most of what she said. As long as the girl agreed to use the label of friends. It would work out perfectly if they did keep a 'friendship'. Kira would have a famous friend, and Teddy end up having someone with some type of pokemon knowledge. He didn't want to bother learning about those ugly creatures anyway. So she's save him loads of time of reading/asking around. Teddy was proud to be illiterate and would never pull out a pokemon book. He just bought the magazines that features him. Even then he only looked at the pictures.
" So anywaysssss. Do you have any more of those uglies? Besides the blue rat thing. " Teddy blurted out.

Kira sweatdroped as Katie was referred to as 'ugly'. "I find Katie to be quite cute, thank you... and she's more of a 'squirrel-thing'. I do have to others; Katie is a Pachirisu, then I have Topaz who's a Shinx, and Fuyuki who's a Suicune and also my guardian."
Kira was, more than likely, going to make Teddy learn how to read a pokemon book; namely because she wasn't going to be able to be there every second of every day since she went into the wilderness so much.

" Oh wooow. " Teddy's voice barely hid it's sarcasm. He didn't bother to ask questions any longer. A pachi-whatever, Shinx, and a Suicune? What kind of names were those! Ugly, that's for sure. " That is very interesting. I am blown away at the amount that you have. Don't show me them though. I would greatly dislike that. " He was being serious. One was enough for today, and if two were to pop up...it would cause too much stress to his life.
" Well, Kira. It was nice meeting you! Here is some money so you can pay off both of our bills. " He pulled a few bucks from his wallet and tossed them on the table. Of course, it was enough to pay off four meals but Teddy didn't care. He wanted to leave already. He had spent too much time with the girl.
" Now here is my cell. Text me whenever you want. Maybe we'll meet up again. " Teddy scribbled on a nearby tissue, leaving his number behind as he quickly took off.
