Rochir nodded, and was thoroughly interested now. No females yet? Hmm~ he could maybe change that... hopefully. And then, that was the opening he was looking for.
"I am looking to settle down." he bowed his head, after being asked his name. "I am called Rochir." he said, and it came out 'Rock-irr'. He didn't mind giving his name, but a piece of him died every time it was mispronounced - another of his annoyances in life. His beloved father had given him his name, and damn it wolves would get it right.
He gave himself a little shake - getting irritated over nothing was not the best way to start things out with a stranger. Though, now that the stranger had offered his own name in return, "stranger" was hardly the term.
He didn't figure it was too odd to require a secondary name for strangers... it was downright smart if you asked Rochir. He liked his new alpha more and more each time he spoke.
"Aguta." he said, committing the name to memory. "Wraith, around all others." he smirked, though not disrespectfully, and nodded again, confirming that he would adhere to this requirement.

"Hmm...welcome to Tomkin, Rochir," he spoke softly, having observed the structure of the name as to avoid any mispronunciations in future times, but he admitted he was flawed to and would probably mispronounce the name more than once if there were to be future times. But how things were going, he very much felt that a new member had entered his ranks. And if he were to be one of his wolves an alias was needed, just as he had offered one to Rochir who accepted it willingly and with respect to the large male. "If I may, in front of strangers, may I address you as Gate? If you have a better name in mind I'd certainly take it to memorization." Gate was simply the first word that came to mind, but if Rochir wanted something different he had every right to choose something else.
Moving onto his feet his tail gave a single wag before he turned toward where the den was located. Looking back over his shoulder, he waited to see if Rochir would follow. "Let me show you the area," he murmured, pulling his ears forward as he readied his previously still legs, getting them adjusted.
((Sorry this was so short. Should we finish this soon?))

"Gate." he immediately warmed to the name. It fit him well - he would prove to be a strong and unyielding 'gate' to his pack, to his alpha. You would have to get through him first. He grinned slyly, liking the whole idea muchly.
"Thank you, my alpha. I am grateful and will not prove you to have made a bad decision." He stood carefully, letting his muscles warm to the idea before he did anything too quickly. "Gate is a perfect name for me." he said after a moment of stretching.
He nodded and started to follow the other male. "Of course." he smiled, eager to see the lands he would help keep secure.
((Annnd cut?))

Aguta was thankful that the name was well accepted by the other male and pleased that one more wolf had joined his ranks. The large alpha padded toward the den, head low and body streamlined, moving through the area with keen eyes. He was thankful for Rochir, glad to have someone of his caliber and personality to help with the core of the pack. As was said before, he would be the backbone, as well as the gate that was the keystone of the entire foundation.
The pack was slowly growing, filling like a trickling river with the flow of little streams coming together to form a larger force. Aguta could scent the future.
((End.))
