"Yeah! We'll call an elephant. He hates elephants since one stepped on his tail. " She smirked. "Or we could just steal it. I bet its big, too. " Damn Chokuto and that horseshoe permanently engraved in his behind!
She blinked as he corrected himself, and then understanding what he might have meant the first time nodded. "Um.. yeah. We can be neighbors though. Makes plotting easier. We should bug Choku to be a nieghbor too. "

"Ah, Choku neglected to tell me that..." Mak said thoughtfully. Probably to save some amount of pride by omitting the incident. "It probably is big... I'm all for stealing it from him!" Mak said excitedly. Would he really? Probably not, but it'd be kinda fun to give Choku a scare like that.
"Neighbors would be great!" He said, glad that she didn't dwell on his mistake. "Maybe there are some dens around where Choku lives that are empty..." Mak pondered to himself aloud.

"Choku's picky. bet he doesn't just have a den. He prolly has an entire cave. "She grumbled, leaning on her paw. Then she came to realize. "Hey. We might find some more caves in the gorge, if we look further. " She twitched her tail tip.
"And there's echoes. So we can shout 'n everything. It'd be pretty fun. "

"Yeah! I wouldn't want to have our hideout be someone's den, but I'm sure that there've gotta be other similar caverns down there... Plus nobody would ever bother us!" Of course, there were the dangers of stampede and flooding, but that made life there all the more fun, all the more exciting. Mak really liked that idea. "We'd have to go a long way the other way from our hideout, we've already searched a stretch of it." He had the perfect starting point in mind... Yes, it'd all be good.

Wingu nodded. "Yep! " She moved almost as if she were going to jump up onto her paws the typical way and almost did, but soon enough flopped backwards. Crap, she'd forgotten she was hurt.
"But I gotta get better first. " She grumbled.

"Careful," Mak said when she jumped, though it was probably obvious to her that she should be careful. He relaxed himself again and lay his head on his paws. "I'm sure you'll get better soon, maybe someone in the pride can help. I'm sure there's some variety of plant that'll kill the pain, I just don't know what that plant would be." He said simply, turning his gaze from her to the horizon. "I can look around for someone tomorrow, if you'd want."

"Nah, I can deal. " Wingu said, resting her head on her paws and loking to the tree behind her. "Last thing I need is anyone else knowing what happened. " She hated being fussed over.
"Not much more to do now, eh? "

"Alright." The lion said tiredly. In a way, he was glad that he wouldn't have to go traipsing through the Pridelands asking everyone if they knew a healer. It would be a bit embarrassing. He yawned loudly before putting his head back on his paws.
"It's late, and it's been a day... I'm gonna fall asleep here if I'm not...careful." He said as he dozed off. If anything should come during the night... it'd have him to deal with.
