Rei stood up, holding her hand out to the woman and shaking it gently. "Hai...she is a dear friend of mine. But she doesn't live here. She is either at Crown Karaoke back in town or at her apartment." Something didn't feel right about this woman; she seemed ominous, although her physical appearance obviously wasn't dangerous-looking. Still, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't right about her. "Who are you?" The woman's smile turned into a straight line as she gave a nod. "Oh...I see." However, her smile returned when Rei questioned her about her identity. Pulling out a picture, she handed it to Rei. It was a photo of her as a child, holding a baby girl in her arms. "That's a picture of my sister and me a few years before our parents died...that's me..and that's Makoto." Looking at Rei she gave a smile. "I'm Makoto's older sister, Mimiko."Rei's eyes widened as she looked at this so-called Mimiko. Makoto had a sister? She'd never mentioned a sister before. Turning around, she gave a slight nod. "Excuse me..." She instantly pulled out that phone...that cell phone that had rung so much before in the past. Flipping it open, she immediately dialed Makoto's number, hoping for her to pick up.

About the same time Rei had called, Makoto was elbow deep in batter for cookies. Hearing the phone's shrill ring, Makoto cursed under her breath as she tried to get her hands clean enough to answer the call. She hoped who ever was calling her had enough patience for her to do so.
As the rings continued, the best Makoto could manage was one clean hand. That would have to do. If she got cookie mix all over the apartment, so be it. She would have it cleaned by the time Motoki came home, so she wasn't really worried about that. Then again, even if she left their apartment a mess, she doubted that Motoki would even bat an eye. He was such an agreeable man and Makoto could barely remember any instances of severe quarreling between them.
Finally, she reached her goal, thoughts of Motoki still on her mind. "Moshi moshi?" she answered, hoping she didn't sound too out of breath or too distracted.

Mamoru leaned against the doorway, silently watching his wonderful wife as she wandered around the apartment tidying things up. This was new to him. She didn't usually get up this early. He didn't say anything, not wanting to disturb her, because he could tell she was lost in her own thoughts. He smiled. He considered himself lucky to have such a wonderful family. They meant the world to him, and he would do anything for them. He would protect them always, no matter what. His protective instincts rose as he remembered the bad feelings he had had this morning when he woke up. Watching Usagi, he let the feelings drift to the back of his mind. His watch beeped and he looked at it, immediately snapping back to reality. If he didn't hurry, he would be late for work. This was the third time this week he had almost been late. He sighed as he hurried to change into his work clothes. He quickly told Usagi he was leaving and was almost out the front door, when his cellphone rang. He calmly answered the phone. " Moshi moshi."

"Master, it's Yasuo," he said when the Master picked up the phone. He could get used to using a new name, but there were somethings Yasou was not going to leave behind in this life, his Master's proper title was one of them. "Is everything alright?"~*~ The journey from his home to the Master's wasn't very long, and Daitaro never minded a bit of a walk anyway. He knew the Master had to go to work today, but it wasn't terribly out of place for him to visit Usagi and their child. He liked the little kid, and felt a need to check up on her occasionally. After all, she carried his Master's bloodline and was his heir.

As Mamoru announced that he was leaving, Usagi stopped what she was doing to follow him to the door, hoping to steal one last goodbye kiss before he left for his long day. She had been ready to practically pounce when he stopped to answer his cell phone. She waited quietly, less than a foot behind him, as he answered it. 'Probably one of the Tennou,' she thought as she watched her husband from behind, her eyes wandering approvingly as she did so. To her, he was still every bit as handsome and mysterious as the day she had first bumped into him.

"Makoto...it's Rei. If you can, could you come by the shrine? There's someone here for you." Her eyes turned momentarily to glance upon a smiling Mimiko and something inside of her twisted. It was like a huge hand had grabbed hold of her guts and just squeezed. This was the feeling she usually got right before the wool was pulled over her eyes so to speak. "I think it's...pretty urgent. Wait, are you cooking?" She heard Makoto's tone of voice and knew that it could only be because of two things; either she and Motoki were having some alone time or she was cooking. Figuring that Makoto wouldn't have answered her phone if it was the first, she had easily guessed the second.

With a laugh, Makoto responded with an affirmative. "Hai! Cooking for a client, Rei. Is this something we can discuss over the phone? I can't leave in the middle of this or the entire order will be ruined." As much as she hated it some times, her friends could not come before her job. She contributed to their bills just as much as Motoki did, maybe more. She was not sure nor did she really care. She was used to being the dominant one, after all. "This one is too important to mess up," the young woman added apologetically.

Mamoru smiled at the familiar voice. " Ah, Yasuo. It's good to hear from you." If everything wasn't alright, then he had a feeling Yasuo would be one of the first to know about it. He tried to ignore the sudden thought that he might be calling because everything wasn't alright. " Everything is fine. Why wouldn't it be?" He could tell that someone watching him, so he turned around and gave Usagi a reassuring smile.

Yasuo breathed a sigh of relief, but he still felt anxious. "I just felt uneasy, I shouldn't have bothered you. My apologies."
The call ended and he wandered back out to where the piano stood, taking up a large portion of the room. He looked at it suspiciously before turning away from it and heading toward the door. Perhaps some time outside would help clear his head.

Tadao was upstairs when he heard Daitaro left the house. It was funny living with the former leader of the Shitennous, but he was grateful that Daitaro had given him a place to stay. Tadao yawn and went back studying for his test for tonight. He never knew he could get into a collage with lack of education he had. His stomach empty stomach started grumbled. Tadao got up and went downstairs to get something to eat. He went into the kitchen to see a note left by Daitaro on the fridge stating that he is going out and there is some left over dinner in the fridge whenever he is hungry, and good luck on his test if he doesn't come home early. Tadao rolled his eyes as he opened the fridge. He grabbed some meat, mayonnaise to make him a sandwich. After lunch he head back up stairs to finish studying.

Cocking her head to one side, she watched Mamoru patiently while he finished his conversation. Once it was done, she could no longer contain her curiosity. "Is something wrong with Yasuo-kun?" she asked lightly, trying to hide her own worry. Not only had she felt something amiss, it seemed that Yasuo had as well. 'A visit to Rei-chan might be appropriate when Mamoru leaves,' she thought, her eyes searching his for anything that would cast doubt upon her worries.

Takeshi was happy it was break time. He worked 3 hour straight cleaning and dealing with out of control kids all morning. He sighed and decided to call Ami, it was payday and he wanted to take her out to a nice dinner. They have been going out since Mamoru's wedding. Ami was the best person he ever meet and he treasures her kindness. Takeshi took out his blackberry out of his pockets of his black jeans and started to call Ami.

Daitaro reached the Chiba residence, he paused outside the doorway. He felt a chill, and immediately spun around to look behind him, but there was nothing to be seen. He shook his head, trying to clear the feeling he had. Finally he raised his hand and rang the doorbell.

Usagi was still waiting for an answer from Mamoru when the doorbell rang. "I'll get that," she said softly, knowing that Mamoru might need a moment to gather his thoughts after talking to Yasuo. Moving around him, she smoothed out her shirt to look presentable before opening up the door.
She felt the colour drain slightly from her cheeks when she saw Daitaro standing outside her door. First a call from Yasuo and now an early morning visit Daitaro, she felt her earlier worries resurfacing. "Daitaro-kun, good morning."

Daitaro blinked a couple times when Usagi opened the door. "Good morning, is something wrong?" he asked, "You look pale." Leaning around Usagi, Daitaro saw that the Master was still home. Shouldn't he be a work by now? "Master, you're still here?"
